Beautiful Condo on Miles of White Sand Beach. Watch Dolphins from your bedroom!

I’m glad you enjoyed staying at our beachfront condo! I hadn’t posted pictures of our brand new kitchen remodel yet so it probably was a very pleasant surprise. I hope that you come back again!

I called Jim, as promised, to address his concerns about TV and AC failures. He had asked me for a free 2-week stay at our condo. Even though the problems he experienced were not predictable and beyond my control, I offered him a free 16-day stay with no fees or taxes. He was happy to accept my offer that was more than he asked for. The TVs were working fine before Jim arrived and I couldn’t predict or prevent the Spectrum cable TV system failure. When Jim told me it wasn't working, I immediately contacted Spectrum and got the earliest service call that was possible. The entire AC system is new. The AC was working fine when Jim arrived but the compressor unit on the roof failed 6 days later. I couldn’t predict or prevent the AC failure. When Jim told me about the problem I immediately contacted the company and had it fixed as soon as possible. It has been our policy for more than 20 years that when renters check out they can leave usable foods in the refrigerator/freezer and cupboards. When renters check in they can use the remaining food they want or throw away the remaining food if they don’t want it. All previous renters were pleased with this policy because the “cupboards weren’t bare” when they arrived. Jim expressed concerned that so much of our personal things, like family pictures and books were in the unit. He said, “It was like staying in someone’s home rather a hotel or rental property”. I tried to explain that VRBO rentals are usually people’s homes - not commercial property.. Jim told me that when he got home, ironically, his own AC and clothes washer weren’t working! I joked that it was clear who was at fault for all these systems failures. I asked Jim what else I could do for him and he said he couldn’t think of anything more I could do and he thanked me.

Thank you, Valerie, for your excellent review of our condo. I'm so glad you enjoyed swimming every day in the pool that is heated year-round and being located on the nicest part of the beach. We enjoy the newly-upgraded pool, patio deck, and outdoor kitchen so I'm glad you also enjoyed it as well. I'm glad you found the condo has a, "well stocked kitchen," and that you "enjoyed the fabulous local restaurants" on the "ideally situated beach condo." Your review makes me anxious to go back there and enjoy it myself!

We are delighted that you loved staying at our beachfront condo! It's nice to hear that you especially enjoyed the new pool, patio, and outdoor kitchen right at the edge of the ocean. I'm sorry that some some other people were rude; that hasn't happened before and I expect it won't happen again. I hope you will return soon to enjoy our home on the beach!

Charity wrote a glowing, positive review which we appreciate. But yet she rated it only 1 star. It is clear that it was a mistake. I asked her to change the rating to match their 5-star description but they she has not yet done that. I contacted VRBO and they said the 1-star rating is an obvious error because the review describes what would be a 5-star rating.

On the beach and on our balcony we often watch dolphins and people fishing. It's always fun to see them pull in big fish and watch all the water birds gather around for the excitement (and the hope for a free meal.) You are right that around the pier is a great spot to fish. We've made more improvements to our home. You should see it now! I hope you will be return to enjoy it again.

We often hear people say we have the most beautiful sunsets in the world. We never tire of watching the beauty of the sun setting into the Gulf of Mexico - sometimes seeing dolphins play. We are always attentive to make sure everything is clean and especially well furnished so we are delighted that you liked it.
