Fantastic!

This is our 4th year staying in this lovely, spacious condo at the Tides. It is so relaxing, right on the beach, friendly staff and a great location. Is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We will definitely be back.

Tides 244

Excellent view and rooms were clean. The room with all the beach chairs etc. really needs cleaning. The living area was very comfortable and homey. The porch was basically unusable with all the sand on the deck and the furniture. Since my husband is handicapped we enjoyed the ease of getting to the condo. We really enjoyed our stay.

Ups and downs

Nice place , great location , little dated. If the owner is paying a management company to look after the place I would sack them now. My 76 year ld father in law spent the first day fixing lights doors etc which isn’t good enough.

We have someone on call 24 hours a day. If you had notified us, we would have sent our maintenance over right away.

January in Tampa

We had a lovely stay. Weather in January wasn’t totally cooperative but the condo and our location were really nice. Diane, the property manager was very responsive. And Dan did the work that needed to be done quickly and efficiently. (Small thing like a new coffee pot and lighting issue). The unit could use new bed linens and pillows but they weren’t terrible. The second bedroom had windows to the hall and really needs blackout shades because the security lighting in the common space is so bright. We solved it by hanging beach towels on the windows. Enjoyed the beach and the pools and hot tub! Thanks!

The Tides Beach Club

Property is exquisite. Communication with itrip very good. The condition of the Condo awful. Cluttered, Stained linens with saliva & blood. Microwave, Washer & Dryer, Bathroom sliding door, fans, etc., weren't working or broke down. I spent time and money decluttering and going back and forth with itrip. iTrip staff did a lot to remedy the problems. But, the bottomline, Condo is in awful Condition. I stayed a few days extra because of the beach, property & how well maintained the grounds are.

The microwave stopped working during the guest's stay and a replacement was brought the same day. The washer and dryer work without any issues and this was never mentioned by the guest during her stay. The bathroom sliding door the guest refers to is a shower door that stopped sliding (again, during her stay), which was fixed right away. The guest complained about the thread count of the sheets when she arrived and the cleaners purchased brand new sheets and brought them to the unit, but the guest was not satisfied with them so she purchased her own. There were no stains of saliva or blood! The guest wanted to rearrange the unit to suit her preference of how things should be organized. There was no need for "decluttering" as a deep clean was done just a couple of days prior to her arrival. And as the guest mentioned, she requested to stay several extra days (in spite of how "awful" the condo is). We value our guest's feedback, but are quite surprised that after we worked very hard to meet all the needs of this guest, she was still dissatisfied.

Mixed Feelings: loved some things, much frustrations, owners lied; but stunning sunsets

We have mixed feeling about our stay. We absolutely loved the view of the Gulf, slider door off the master bedroom and covered parking. Those features made the stay along with two wonderful restaurants right across the street. The furnishings were adequate, some even nice, but the kitchen left much to be desired. There were absolutely NO cabinets available to hold food items; yet there were probably four cabinets filled with glasses/cups - ugh. The best description for the kitchen items is that it seemed like they were bought at a goodwill store yet there were enough plates, bowls and utensils....just not nice. We have rented a multitude of condos, townhouses, houses throughout the past 10+ years and this condo was clearly the least well stocked for kitchen items. In fact, we ordered many items ourselves, including a can opener that would actually work. Yet the blender worked great. The fridge was nice and the washer/dryer combo worked well. Bring your own hangers because the ones there were probably children-sized. The condo was clearly listed as having adjustable bases for the king size bed in the master bedroom; yet the owners took the controllers and refused to bring them back. It took over a week to get a pass that would open the gate, despite spending hours down in the office and hearing different stories (remotes ordered, person who does that is ill and etc). And we spent hours the first night trying to get the wifi to work - only to find out after numerous phone calls by the wonderful iTrip agent (and she was great) that the wifi name and password had been changed, obviously by the owners, but the rental agency wasn't notified of the change. The one shower door in the primary bathroom wouldn't budge but I finally got it back on the hinges and greased the rollers so that would work. The electronic door to the unit stopped working but luckily someone was inside the condo to open the door. It needed batteries. The master bed was comfortable but the other beds were not. Fortunately we only had three other guests and they only stayed for a few days. The condo did have some nice items like beach chairs and two smart televisions (one had to be programmed) and two not-smart TVs. There also was cable TV and each TV had a box with it. There wasn't any carpeting in the condo, which is great. One vent fan stopped working in the bathroom and one set of slider doors wouldn't close properly; yet the handyman came over right away and fixed both of those issues. The vent fan in the primary bathroom worked; yet it really didn't pull much moisture out (even if we ran it constantly) as evidenced by the humidity streaks that ran down the walls in the bathroom and dining area. The bathroom had a funny smell to it even after I washed the rug. I figured it was coming from the walls outside of the shower which were swollen obviously from too much moisture/water. The dining chairs' material was dirty; but the set looked nice (except for one end of the table that was weirdly split) but it was perfectly functional. The air conditioning worked well and the layout of the condo was wonderful. In a nutshell, iTrip's website needs a lot of work; but overall the people were good to work with (Diane was amazing with all the issues we encountered, truly amazing) yet the owners were not good. The view was stunning and we enjoyed many beautiful sunsets. So yes I'd recommend the condo; however, keep your expectations "not-high" and simply enjoy the stunning nature of the waves and sunsets.

An amazing complex, great location, and huge condo. The condo had everything we needed. The kitchen had tons of pots and pans and cooking utensils. The location to beach access was super convenient. The ocean view incredible. We hope to stay again!

3 Times

This was our second year of spending 3 Months (September, October and November) at The Tides unit 244. As in the past, we couldn't imagine staying anywhere else. A few problems this year, the washing machine broke and we had to send out our laundry. The microwave was not working and the one they replaced it with would remind you of a college dorm type and the toaster was on its way out. As home owners ourselves we realize appliances break down on occasion. The management was quick to address our concerns but unfortunately it became a problem of not being able to get the parts needed. Although this was inconvenient, it does not deter us from renting again. It is a lovely condo unit, very spacious and suits our needs very well. See you in September.

Great close view of the gulf. The place needs new cookware n TV in main room has an awful speaker.

I rent the same place. I almost bought new cookware and also needs beach chairs. I bought a very nice one and left it there.

N. Redington Beach Beauty

This condo was very spacious and clean. It had everything you could possibly need for an extended stay. The beds were very comfortable as were the plush pillows. Location was perfect and the view from the patio was beautiful. In fact if I could have rented this condo for the whole year I would have. Kudos to all the agents involved in this transaction. I will definitely use this site again. In fact, I already have! Booking for May, September, October and November of 2022! Thank you again Best Paula

Disappointing Property

. Of all of the places I have rented in my life, this property was most disappointing and unexpectedly so considering it’s in the Tides. Aside from my guests having to endure 5 days of industrial fans/noise and two interruptions in water due to the leak from a unit above, the following issues were noted: Mold in the bathrooms and a cleaning that was so superficial that I had my own cleaning person re-clean the unit Shower door in the hall bathroom falls off the track Dishwasher latch has to be pushed hard to latch Chair on the balcony has a damaged leg which could cause a fall Sheets of the cheapest grade a messy pile making it difficult to tell to what bed they belonged Bed duvet covers and spreads not clean Missing basic supplies with toilet paper, no bath soap, detergent, etc Please pass the information along to the owners. Thanks.

Thank you for your review. It is noted in the check in instructions that the condo is self catering and we only provide a starter kit of supplies. The leak from above was not something we anticipated happening and did all we could to remedy the situation as quickly as possible.

Nice location~very "tired"rental unit

Needs painting and general heavy cleanup. You can tell it is very heavily used as a rental unit with little or no maintanence. Porch furniture needs to be replaced or painted for sure. Great location on the second floor.

Poor quality

This unit needs a serious upgrade. The furniture is dated and uncomfortable. No shades or curtains in the front bedrooms. There is no darkness whatsoever in these bedrooms. The entrance to the balcony was in terrible shape. We had to have repairs done in the first week to other areas in the unit. The complex is very nice with a great pool area and access to the beach. It is a shame to have such a poor unit in the rental program.

The process of getting into the complex &...

The process of getting into the complex & receiving pass cards, parking permits on weekends is impossible, since it's security personnel on premise maybe here or not. Never can find or never answer there phone.The building code given us for the time period did not work, had to find a resident who gave us a code so we could get in. Once in condo. turned ice maker on & water ran all over & out of the refrig. Notified Itrip. Suppose to be fixed today. Furnace would not heat, personnel called & repairs had to be done on it, wired wrong. Fire alarm battery had to be changed by me, churping.Condo needs a lot of TLC, beds need to be upgraded to at least one king bed, furniture has seen its days, not comfortable at all. Both patio screens are torn. Carpeting in bedrooms need to be cleaned or replaced. Clothes dryer is very slow drying, requires two cycles to dry a small load. Had to unclog master bathroom sink, so it would drain. Thankyou for contacting us regarding our stay, I hope this will help

Great apartment complex

We stayed in the apartment for a month. Reservation and instructions for move-in were super quick and easy. Any came up questions were resolved within a day or two. The apartment itself is very cozy, well-furnished and has every necessity. We really enjoyed a great view of the ocean from the balcony. The pool and the gym areas are very neat and useful. Great beach right outside of the complex with white sand and clear water. Overal, the place is worth its price! We are definitely coming back next time!
