Secluded getaway

Terrific location. Close to amazing outdoor activities but you'll also be happy and comfortable just staying close to the cabin the whole time.

Wonderful Lakeside Spot

Great property right on the water. Responsive host. Plenty to do in the area. Our group of nine college buddies had a terrific stay.

Cute home near Yellowstone

The house was very cute and very clean. We spent lots of time there since Yellowstone gates closed. The grill was dirty and unusable, the pool table was broken, and the docks weren’t good for boats. Overall the stay was pretty good! We would definitely come back, there was plenty of room for our family of 7.

Alison, thanks for staying at the Share Shack. I appreciate your feedback. Based upon your comments, we have cleaned the grill and provided additional brushes for guests to clean once they are done BBQ’ing. The dock has been reanchored and the ping pong table has been removed.

Lovely stay!

We had a great time at the Share Stay cabin. It was pretty perfect for our family and we found the house, the kitchen, and the yard were well outfitted with almost everything we needed. I was surprised to learn that the garage apartment space does not have a bathroom, so folks staying there have to go outside and to the main house to potty and shower. The lake is amazing! We rented jet skis from the nearby resort and that was really fun. The distance to Yellowstone is easy. Once we figured out the gate situation, it was fine, just a little cumbersome with a big group. Overall we would highly recommend this lake cabin! Perfect for kids and family time!

Great location

The cabin is wonderful for large groups of all ages. The location is outstanding and the owners are friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend the cabin if you are looking for a place on the lake. However the photos show a dock. There is no dock. We had nowhere to tie the boat we rented for the day. The cabin only came with two rolls of toilet paper for thirteen people. Also, the utilities were out when we arrived. Apparently they go out frequently on the island so be aware of that. The owners have no control of the electricity.

Christine, thank you for staying at the Share Shack and for the review. We are so glad you recommend the cabin and enjoyed your stay. Bills Island is a special place. Yes, the dock was unfortunately “beached” a few weeks ago, but we are working on moving it out to the water. Also, we double checked with our cleaners and each bathroom receives one roll on and three in the drawers. Apologies for not letting you know and hope it didn’t cause you too much inconvenience.

Generational Getaway

The Waterfront Cabin was PERFECT for our family (2 seniors, adult children, grands 4-13 & yellow lab) & unexpected friends nightly for dinners :) The kitchen-family area and outside spaces handled the large group easily! The kids stayed in the bunk quarters above the garage (no bathroom) & we had plenty of parking space for 4+ vehicles. We LOVED the water toys supplied: pedal boat, kayaks & SUPs, using them every day. CLEAN, comfortable beds; well equipped kitchen. Only glitches were minor & I left a note for Amber. For future reference, though - provide additional gate cards. If you're visiting Yellowstone, leave EARLY to avoid long lines. Our family is already talking about a return to the parks - this home is perfect for a large group!

Cabin has a great "feel" & location.

VERY comfortable cabin that is well maintained and in a great location. Owners were on it, being very responsive.

Great house. Convenient location.

Excellent property a short drive from West Yellowstone. Would definitely recommend and will definitely stay again. Host was very responsible.

Fun on the lake!

We loved staying at the share shack! It was cute, roomy, and had everything we needed. It was right on the lake which was so beautiful! We hope to return again.

Perfect for our Family gathering

Amber was very easy to work with. She was communicative and helpful in answering my questions. The house was a lovely spot for our extended family to gather. The kids had their own space in the loft. The house is well stocked with amenities.

Beautiful scenery

We loved watching the sunset over the lake. The house was clean and well organized and sweetly decorated. My family and I enjoyed the quiet and will remember our time at the Share Shack fondly.
