This renovated riverside Farmhouse Style 2 story home located "Where Mountains Touch Rivers" in the Laurel Highlands features 3 Bedrooms and 2 Bathrooms, a Well-Equipped Kitchen, Formal Dining Room, Large Living Room, and Laundry. Outside is a Patio, Fire Pit, BBQ, a covered Front Porch, three Rivers, and Youghiogheny Lake. The home is surrounded by bike trails, hiking, and water sports. Key amenities are near the town square within walking distance, just across the Casselman foot bridge. Bedrooms are still under renovation, but will be ready soon, with Pics! (1 Queen, 1 Full, 2 Twin Beds)

Lovely place for our family - we made meals in the kitchen, enjoyed the hammock and the fire ring, and slept well in the comfortable beds.

Super clean and everything you need! The property is older, but its very clean. The beds were comfortable. It was enough sleeping space for our friend group of 6 total. They had plenty of towels, dishes and I loved how they had all you would need for toiletries! I would definitely stay there again for our whit water rafting trip.

We had a great time! We hiked in Ohiopyle park on a couple of days---We went to see the 2 Frank Lloyd Wright houses....and this house was just right for us and minutes away from our destinations.

Great Location!

Great location close to the GAP bike trail and a short drive to Ohiopyle, Fallingater, Yough River Lake, and other attractions. House was accurate to listing. Property owner was extremely responsive to needs and questions. I would stay here again.

We have stayed here several times. We love the location. It’s perfect for biking The Gap Trail. It’s 10 miles to bike to Ohiopyle and about 10 to bike to The Pinkerton Tunnel and the High Bridge. The trail is a couple of blocks away. Makes a great morning bike ride. Two good places to eat are walking distances: Pamela’s and Riverview. You can also walk to the coffee shop or Mitch’s. Although the front porch or sitting in the back overlooking the River are good spots for coffee. We also drive over the dam and down to the beach by the lake to swim, 5 minute drive. This is also a great area for rafting and kayaking. Deep Creek Lake is at most a 45 minute drive. It has a movieplex and places to eat. Also a Save a Lot grocery store and a good liquor store. The owner, Michael, is very responsive and has a local representative if he is not in town.

Weekend getaway

Charming house in Confluence that was perfect for our weekend trip. Easy access to the GAP trail and local amenities. Clean property, sufficient parking for our three vehicles, and managed to keep cool despite the heat wave that rolled through. The owner was helpful and had a local contact who was able to stop by and help us out when needed.

Lovely guest house

Our group loved this house. The location in Confluence is excellent for accessing both sides of town. The place was spotless when we arrived and very comfortable. The owners have done a great job remodeling the old home to make it feel very comfortable! We hope to stay again!

Everything was superb!!! The old home boasts original flooring and woodwork, plus the ambiance. We stay all over the country in VRBO. This house in Confluence with the front porch, back yard, grill, hammock, fire pit...all overlooking the Casselman River is definately in our Top 3! Peaceful and Nostalgic. Plus, we biked on the GAP both days, and loved it all.

Comfortable home in great location

We loved our stay at the Jones Inn. Very quiet area, strolling distance to Confluence restaurants, bike store, rivers, and GAP trail. Very well-equipped kitchen. 5 window air conditioners keep the property cool. Owner/manager MJ was very responsive about shower head that wasn’t working properly. Would definitely stay again.

Great vacation

Everything here was perfect. The home was well supplied, clean, nice accommodations and property. We didn’t need anything. Having our mini schnauzer there was a real treat. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The host was responsive. We relaxed and enjoyed. Highly recommend.

Great House

It's a great location to nearby activities. We had NO cell phone service at the house so it was hard to get directions. Also we wanted to order in one day (exhausted from the days activities) and after many attempts, we couldn't find anyone to deliver.

Family

This is a great place for family……quiet neighborhood. Nice to have the grill, fire ring, patio, hammock, and front porch. We enjoyed being able to relax by the river and walk across the bridge into town. The dining room, living room, kitchen arrangement were perfect for being connected. Great to have a downstairs AND upstairs bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked and we appreciated the many amenities provided. Communication with the owner was excellent. We would rent there again.

Fall Getaway w/Friends

We enjoyed our short getaway at Jones Inn. It was originally planned for September, but had to be rescheduled for health reasons. Michael, the owner/manager was very understanding and easy to reach. This was a very clean vacation home with many added amenities (toiletries, cleaning supplies, tissues, hammock, fire circle, etc.) and gathering places both inside and outside. The fall color was spectacular! Quiet neighborhood, aside from the trains. Our only suggestion would be to clear most/all of refrigerated items from previous guests. Would certainly consider reserving this vacation home again.

A lovely home in a great setting

We all enjoyed staying at the Jones’ Inn in Confluence. The home was comfortable and well- appointed. It was easy to settle in, and we appreciated the little extras — kitchen had condiments and wraps, laundry and dish detergent was available for us to use, plenty of sheets and towels, fire pit and gas grill too! There’s lots to do in the area — Confluence is near or a short drive from great hiking & biking trails, attractions, and water activities, including Ohiopyle and Fallingwater. The town has a grocery and some shops and restaurants. We didn’t find a liquor store, (although beer is available at some establishments) so bring your own or drive to Uniontown. One minor issue — it’s close to some active train routes, so be aware you may hear trains & whistles overnight. The owner was gracious and responsive to messages; it was a pleasure staying here, and we’d be happy to come back!

This was a perfect base for three days of riding on the GAP. Confluence is a pretty area and far enough away from Ohiopyle to be a little quieter and less crowded. The house is nicely decorated with lots of homey touches. We were very comfortable.Highly recommend River's Edge Cafe. We had two yummy dinners there in a lovely and historic setting.

Great house, need new beds in third bedroom

Nice house, very clean, roomy, we'll stocked, great location. Owner has put a lot of thought into providing a great rental experience, with one exception, the beds in the bunk room were Extremely uncomfortable, and bunk bed squeeked loudly with every movement. we did not sleep well because of it, and returned home exhausted and with a back ache. Really need new beds in that room. That was the only negative. (PS, need measuring cups and spoons)

We are a family from NYC that fell in love with Confluence, and bought a vacation home here so we can spend all our free time in nature, on the bike trail, on the lake or in the rivers. We're never board when we're "Where Mountains Touch Rivers," and the local families have adopted us, and welcomed us into the community. The people are warm, kind, and incredible neighbors.

When we bought the house, it needed a fair amount of work, but we fell in love with it! We dug into the renovation, and discovered gorgeous Poplar floors upstairs, and Red Oak on the staircase - which had been covered and hidden since the house was built. We updated the kitchen, putting in modern amenities like a Sink Disposal and Dishwasher, and made the space open to flow, while maintaining the Country Kitchen feel with original cabinetry and counters. The Clawfoot Tub in the upstairs bathroom is original, and huge. We Reno'd the rest of the room, but refurbished that - take a soak, its incredible.

Outside you can enjoy the Fire Pit, Patio Dining straight off the Grill, and the yard with a view of the Casselman River. The Footbridge to the Town Square is a half block walk out the back, and the bike trail is 4 blocks the other way. We are right in the middle of whatever you want to do in this beautiful little town, "Where Mountains Touch Rivers.'
