Really enjoyed the Penthouse.. very comfortable so close to everything downtown.Had a wonderful time in Half Moon Bay. Love it there.Great that the space is dog friendly.Want to return already.

Host was welcoming and kind. There was a huge storm and the windows were old and blew in but they seemed to understand! They waited to fix it till after we left though

Very good communication with the owners.Well appointed rental, including nice touches such as coffee pads, tea, and creamer.Very good location in downtown Half Moon Bay.Things that led us to rate our experience as only three star:- rental description is misleading in the way that I suggest that the rental has a lot of privacy, including private outdoor space, etc, when in reality this rental is in the back of a bed & breakfast which uses all outdoor spaces. Privacy is limited, parking is difficult and it can be a bit noisy.- the biggest turn off for us however was that the couch in the living room is quite disgusting. Every seat cushion has large stains. This is not at all consistent with the otherwise clean and charming decor of the rental. The couch looks so bad that we did not want to sit on it at all. Owners should replace or at least clean all cushions.- the upstairs area that houses two of the beds gets extremely hot during the day - and we had very cool and overcast weather on all days that we stayed at the rental. Still it was unbearable to be in those spaces from mid day onwards. Ventilation is limited and some of the few windows lack screens. The owners have a mobile AC unit and many many fans in this space. This does help, however the space is difficult to get to a comfortable temperature.While communication with the owners was very good, they showed surprise when we raised issue 2 and 3. This was not believable.Way overpriced. Would not recommend.

Fabulous spot!

The place was just as listed. Great location, extremely clean and had everything we needed. Great for families or a group of friends. Would love to come back someday!

Wonderful!

We had a wonderful stay here! The beds were comfortable and the property was exactly like the photos - beautiful and well maintained. The nearby restaurants were top notch. We especially loved the Cantina at San Benito House and Gulino Gelato!

Great Half Moon Bay home base

What a great find! Perfect space for our family. We love the shops and restaurants in HMB and being right on Main St. made this the perfect home base for wandering the town and also hopping over to the beach. Look forward to visiting again.

HMB getaway

Good location. Close to all the things that we wanted to do in the area. Great beaches. Access to redwood forest. Fantastic restaurants nearby.

Fabulous Property

Really enjoyed this property. It is a separate unit that is part of a B&B. The unit is perfect for a family of four with a great loft space with two beds. Fantastic location in the heart of Half Moon Bay. Walking distance to food and shopping with a short drive to the beach. Would stay here again.
