We had a wonderful stay at the Douglas Beach House in Half Moon Bay! The house has so much character, and the history of jazz concerts at the venue next door adds a really cool and unique touch. The updated amenities made our stay comfortable, and the highlight is absolutely the incredible ocean view. You simply can’t beat waking up to that scenery! A special place with history, charm, and a beautiful beachfront setting. We would happily stay here again!

Beautiful property! Beautiful views. Very nice being able to walk to the beach. I would definitely recommend the property and plan to book it again in the future.

Location was excellent - right across a small street from the ocean, beach and a coastal walking path. The common area had wide views of the water with occasion surfers appearing.

Claire was super responsive and the property was amazing. Great location, spotless, comfortable beds. We had a great, great weekend. Cannot beat the ocean and sunset views. Will be returning for sure.

It worked perfectly for our group- but it’s important to note that the setup has more of an event venue feel than a home and is adjacent/shares a wall with the music venue. But location is great, place was clean and deck was great!

Thank you for your comments. For others we would like to clarify that the upstairs of the home is an open format and is very large with sweeping 180 degree views of the ocean. It is the home that the owner grew up in. It is adjacent to a music venue but there is never any music or any other kinds of events occurring during your stay.

Had a great time. Wonderful house and a great location. Awesome views of the coastline. Right acroos the street from the beach. Property manager Claire could not have been nicer. House well equiped with everything you could need. Wonderful 4 day stay. Should have given 5 starts on the price especially compared to to all the other listings. Nothing is cheap anymore though lol.

Great stay

Beautiful home, it feels historic. You CANNOT beat the views. Great neighborhood and access to the beach. Overall, a very nice stay.

Wonderful stay

We really enjoyed our stay. Loved the location and the wonderful deck to enjoy the view. The location was great and was perfect to take long walks on the beach. Property was very clean and the host was extremely responsive. Highly recommend!
