Very nice home that has a great view of the lake and amazing sunsets. Very private home and back patio. Very private, quiet, and light-free neighborhood. So, floodlights and streetlights don't infiltrate the rooms or the outside. Well equipped with silverware, plates, glasses, towels etc. The garage was a bonus, especially if temps are extreme. Communication with the host was responsive and timely. Yes, I would rent again...

Nice Lake Erie view

Lovely house on the Lake, well cared for house and yard. Very comfortable beds and furniture for lounging.

Beautiful Peaceful View

We came here for a peaceful stay on the lake. It's exactly what we got. House is clean and well appointed.

Amazing sunsets, otherwise disappointing

The sunsets over Lake Erie absolutely delivered, but the property itself was disappointing for the price. The exterior was in rough shape when we arrived, as the lawn had not been mowed and weeds growing out of driveway/walkway. We got into the house to find that all of the window shades had been removed and had to go get our own so kids could go to sleep, and neither the grill or fire pit had propane tanks. It was also disappointing to not be able to walk down to the lake. Overall, the value just wasn’t there. We ended spending the vast majority of our time away from the house. The property owner was responsive after the first day.

Hi Chad, we apologize the property did not meet your expectations. The lawn was cut regularly throughout the summer and due to the July 4th holiday , as you mentioned, the service arrived the day after you arrived. The previous guests had the window shades rip, so they were removed upon their check out. The cleaner, who takes great pride in making sure the home is ready, arrived to replace them immediately, which, as I'm sure you can understand, may take a few hours. You had already bought shades from Walmart, and declined to allow her to replace at that time, and you were credited back with a refund for the inconvenience. We value guest reviews and satisfaction, and keeping our home in meticulous, clean working order as other reviews suggest. The price is adjusted automatically based on market trends in 2024, including fees and taxes. so that is unfortunately a result of the current economic climate.

Great property!

I recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the Dunkirk/Fredonia area. The location is perfect, right on the lake, literally steps out the backdoor. The house is clean and comfortable with everything you might need. And the owners are great and very easy to work with!

Loved this stay!

Lovely, clean, new home. Beautiful setting, the backyard ended at the bluffs overlooking Lake Erie. Lake Erie State Park just walking distance away, made for a peaceful place. About 15 minutes from grocery stores. Home owner very helpful and attentive to questions I asked. Highly reco this stay.

Great house, great views

Great house, great views, very relaxing stay. House was everything as advertised and more. Convenient drive to venues in the Dunkirk-Fredonia area. Definitely will book the house again

Great location, beautiful sunsets, nice house

The house was perfect for our family. We had everything we needed and spent a lot of time in the backyard playing games. Note that there is no walkway down to the water on the property but the views are beautiful.
