Awesome place for the family. Short drive into the harbor, but plenty to do and see at the house.

Place to stay again

Wonderful stay

This accommodation was extremely clean and very welcoming. Beautifully situated, private and wonderful place to explore. Communication was excellent.

Beautiful setting with lots to see. Whales, seals, deer, geese, boats, Stanley and Bob.Morning coffee in the chairs at the beach was the best!

This home and the property was one of the nicest, we couldn’t have had a better stay. Yes two of the highlights were Stanley and Bob.

Just wonderful!

Weekend away with 6 adult family members - wonderful location, spacious, clean and well stocked home, very comfortable, lovely outside area with hot tub, and excellent communication with host. Such a lovely visit! Would definitely return.

Our first trip to BC

Gorgeous view, Sunsets were amazing. The gorgeous home could be made to feel more inviting with the removal of the glass coffee table that we all hit our shins on more than once. lol

Thank you for the review Sheri ! When it comes to an individuals personal taste in furnishings it is always very subjective. For many of our previous guests they have actually commented on how they love the warmth and coziness of the west coast post and beam construction. In fact, all of the wood accents showcased inside were harvested from trees on the property.

Beautiful views and peaceful environment

Arriving at this property we found the most beautiful views of the ocean. The peace of the environment was amazing and what Sooke is all about. The house is made with local wood and materials and fits into the space in harmony with the natural surroundings. There is another house nearby but we couldn’t hear a thing. It is about a 20 minute drive to the center of Sooke so you need a car to get around, but with a little beach at the bottom of the property you could happily hide away from it all and relax in the hot tub and the very comfortable beds. Everything we needed was available in the house. It worked well for our family and we enjoyed meeting the family and the dogs.

Perfection at Points West

The accommodation at this property was just as advertised. The family run property (of which there is presently 3 accommodation options) is well cared for and if you have any issues, they are on it right away as they also live on the property. We were there from early July to mid August and we’re surprised how much cooler it is than the rest of the island. The nights especially are quite cool which benefits a good nights sleep! We couldn’t get cell service out there (mostly because our own cell provider was weaker than the cell towers across the water in the U.S.) but the wifi is some of the best we’ve ever had! You will likely be coerced into playing tug-of-war with sticks that the owners dogs - Stanley and Bob - bring to you when you are outside enjoying the mesmerizing view of the water! We’ll miss you Stanley!
