Beautiful, roomy, new construction home located 1 mile from the Lost Island Theme Park, Lost Island Water Park, and Isle Casino. Offering 2,500 total square feet, 4 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, and plenty of living space to easily accommodate multi-family getaways. Sit back and relax after a long day at the park on a spacious backyard deck while grilling for the family and sitting by a fire. Enjoy fishing in the pond in the backyard with poles and lawn chairs provided. The basement space is a retreat for the kids offering video games, air hockey, ping pong, and board games. Restaurants and other nearby entertainment for both Cedar Falls and Waterloo are all in a 5-15 minute car ride with quick and easy highway access.

Family time.

Nice house with plenty of room for the kids to play their games and for adults to be able to catch up. Everyone had a good time. I may be old school but 1 of the things I would add is some kitchen towels and a dish rag or so. That way we could clean up better. Otherwise, we had a great time. Thank you

Family Friendly Stay

Stayed for a weekend to celebrate Christmas with the whole family (4 Generations). Property was well located for us and was nicely equipped for our needs. Communication with owners was very good.

Very nice home

We stayed at this home for a family gathering and it was perfect. The parent adults could be upstairs visiting and the college age adults could be in the basement. We had 12 people over 18 yrs old in the house and we had plenty of room to spread out.

Weekend getaway

This is a very nice property. The home was clean and well staged. There is a nice deck overlooking a green space and pond. We were ables to sit outside and relax or congregate in one of two community spaces. The host was responsive and welcoming. I highly recommend this property for UNI families visiting their students.

Three siblings with Waterloo roots came back for a family reunion with their families. This property was excellent in all respects! Plenty of room for three adult couples on the main floor, and all of the kids (3 were 8-10 and 3 young teens) slept comfortably in the beds and sofas in the basement. Plenty of in house entertainment - TV, air hockey, ping pong, video games, and some old school board games. The kitchen was well equipped and ready to handle our large group. Spacious deck and large back yard space including a small pond suitable for fishing (with poles and basic tackle provided in the garage). Vacant garage served as an additional playroom/pickleball court. Our host/POC Nick was very quick and responsive to any communications. Very close to the waterpark as well as to the Crossroads shopping center area. Easy access to downtown Waterloo and environs. We come back to Waterloo every few years, and we will definitely be returning to this property in the future! For what is it worth, my cousin's company poured the foundations for the homes in this neighborhood.

Exceptional place to stay

We enjoyed our stay and were blown away by the cleanliness and all it had to offer. Lots of towels, extra blankets/pillows, fully equipped kitchen and also had folding table and chairs for extra seating which was a huge bonus for our large family! One of the best rental houses we have ever stayed at! Easily located and only a couple minute drive from the lost island waterpark! Hands down one of the best rentals properties we have ever stayed at.

In lack of nothing!

Walking into a fresh smelling, beautiful and immaculate home was so inviting in itself; but I was continually impressed that anything we would need was thought of. From kitchen utensils down to ice paks/first aid kit for injuries, we were able to find needed items. The air hockey was a hit and the fishing was as well. Comfortable beds, lots of linens, and couches super comfy. We had no trouble being entertained just inside the house, gaming etc...highly recommend this vrbo!

Family Fun

Enjoyed our stay, plenty of room for the entire family. Kids had a great time fishing, they caught good sized fish every day! Lost Island Water Park was a big hit!

Perfect house for kids!

We've stayed here twice now and we absolutely love it. The lower level is perfect for kids to play and keeps the noise away from the adults upstairs. The pond in the backyard is great for fishing (we caught a few dozen) and the nearby water park is a hidden gem. It easily fit our 3 families with plenty of breathing room. We will definitely be returning!

Weekend with kids and grandkids

Every other year we get together with all of the kids and grandkids at a new area. This year it was Waterloo. We had a great time being together and enjoyed music from kids, playing games and food. Everything ended too soon, but many memories made. The property met our expectations but the weather did not allow anything outdoor.

Family getaway, awesome place!

Our family of 16, 8-adults 8-children(12-7months) had a great stay at this location! Lots of space, comfortable beds, cleanliness, & plenty of options to keep our group busy. The host sent clear easy directions for check in & quick response to questions. We would definitely look into staying again.

Great family get away!

This house was the perfect size for our family trip! Wonderful layout with plenty of bedrooms and space for a large group. The house was very comfortable and clean with great activities to keep the adults and kids entertained! We would love to stay again this summer and visit the nearby waterpark! Highly recommend!

Thanksgiving in Waterloo

The location and layout of this house fit our needs perfectly! My brothers and their families, Mom and I have gathered the past 25 years the week of T-day. This year Mom didn't feel up to traveling, so we came from 6 different states! The 3 bedrooms on main level worked great for my 3 brothers, the bunk beds were perfect for 4 cousins (ages 8-13) and the pull out sofa sleepers perfect for 15 & 16 yr old! The big open family room allowed for football, puzzles, and great conversation with plenty of laughter. Kids even caught and released 2 fish from the pond! Thanks for allowing us to create lasting memories at your house

Family Golf Trip

The property was fantastic! Great spaces for the whole family. The owners were very responsive and super helpful. I highly recommend to everyone. Photos are current and accurate. Will definitely book again the next time in town.

Phenomenal Family Weekend

We had a great time staying at the property. They had everything we needed and more! Yard games, fishing poles, chairs, extra pillows and blankets. It accommodated multiple families. We had enough space to have an adult hangout and the kids were busy playing downstairs. The pullout couches were a bonus for kids who wanted to have a slumber party. The hosts were very quick to respond. All of the families were impressed with the basket of snacks and the toiletries provided if we forgot ours. We can’t wait until next years family weekend. We will definitely book this place again!

45th Anniversary kids and grandkids

It was a great house easy to find quiet neighborhood. The backyard and porch gave lots of outdoor space for kids and adults. House has two living rooms and gave us a chance to have space for different age groups.
