Welcome to Memory Maker House — a home base for family reunions, weddings, and group getaways, stocked with everything you need. Pet-friendly, on a quiet residential street.

Closest 4BR to UNI campus and the UNI-Dome, with downtown Cedar Falls shops and restaurants nearby.

Guests say we thought of everything and our place feels like home.

We chose layout, furnishings, accommodations, and supplies like our own family would gather there. The living room has a pocket door, turning the room into a fun hangout space for the group — or a quiet retreat when you need one. The kitchen flows into the dining area, so big groups can have a meal together — at the kitchen island, dining table, or both. Upstairs you will find washer/dryer, master (king) bedroom/full bath, and three bedrooms/full bath — bunk beds (double + single) for younger guests, plus queen and double beds, with sleeper sofas (queen and double) for extra sleeping space.

Out back, a large 27’x10’ deck seats all 13 guests, with a Blackstone grill for cooking as a group. The enclosed garage includes an EV charger for eco-conscious guests.

The house was perfect for our family event. We were close to Waverly for a Wartburg graduation, played pickle ball, and had a lovely day downtown. The house was beautiful and well outfitted for a large group. We had plenty of room to play games and enjoy each others company.

Our design objective for the house was to create a place with enough space to spread out, and space to gather. We wanted to have everything our guests need. We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was clean upon arrival and offered plenty of room for our entire group to spread out and feel comfortable. The outdoor spaces were perfect for relaxing in the evening. The property is within walking distance to campus and the Hill. The host made the check-in process a breeze. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fantastic, spacious getaway—we would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful comfortable home perfect for family gathering. Great amenities. Well stocked kitchen. Amazingly comfortable beds, pillows, linens. High quality bath linens and finishing throughout the home. Location perfect! Wonderful walkable family friendly neighborhood. Hosts were very responsive and helpful with ideas around the area. Very pet friendly for our grand pup to attend our weekend! Would love to stay here again for another family or UNI event!

The house was very clean, updated and well stocked throughout. The beds were very comfortable with quality mattresses and linens. Michael was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions. We would recommend it to anyone looking.

This was absolutely perfect! Beautifully renovated! And a perfect location! There were 6 of us ladies and 5 of us went to UNI back in the early 90s, so this house was in just the right spot! We will definitely be back!

This property is a dream! Lovely heritage home. Beautiful 4 bedrooms. Roomy kitchen and dining room for meals and playing games. Deck and yard are great for hanging outand letting the kids run. Appreciated the easy communication with the owner!

Great house for a group!

Michael and Andrea’s home was a great fit for our group. It was clean, comfortable and a perfect fit for a large group! We were able to go to the amusement park and water park easily and have a comfortable home each night to cook and rest. Michael was responsive and great to work with. We would stay here again!

We made some wonderful memories at your memory maker home! Some of the things we enjoyed the most. Beautiful big porch, front and back. Fully stocked modern kitchen. Amenities for the little ones like a high chair, pack and play and baby toys. Central location for our family reunion and water park. There were 11 of us and there was Plenty of room for everyone. The host communicated well with us. Answered all questions we had in a timely manner. The home is beautifully updated but has an old world charm. We highly recommend the Memory Maker home!

This house certainly lives up to its name. So many great memories made during our 5 night stay. From the initial check in process communication with the host was always met with a quick and helpful responses. This pet friendly home has a great location. Super clean; two very comfortable living spaces for lots of room to visit and relax. Kitchen is huge with plenty of modern appliances. The Side Car coffee was excellent! The outside spaces including big roomy front porch, beautiful back deck and ground level patio complete with several Adirondack chairs provided ample room to enjoy the entire property. Bedrooms were wonderful accommodating us and our three adult children and spouses with super comfortable beds and the 3 restrooms (including a main level 1/2 bath) were much appreciated! The bonus of a garage and use of the Blackstone Grill was icing on the cake!The week was complete with fireflies in the backyard each evening! Pray we can make more memories here!

We’re originally from the Midwest, and moved to North Carolina in the early 90’s. Our kids/grandkids are still in the Midwest - 4 of them in Cedar Falls. That was reason enough to create Memory Maker House.

We have always lived in (updated) older homes. There is a charm, and story you won’t find in newer construction. Our 4BR property is THE closest to UNI (University of Northern Iowa) - we love being part of a college town.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

UNI proximity is a key feature. The UNI Dome is < 1 mile away. If you’re a pickleball fan, there are two lighted courts one block away. We setup the house intentionally for families to make memories, which means enough space to gather, and enough space to be separate when you want. If you’re bringing an infant/toddler - we have what you need: pack-and-play, high chair, baby gate, infant bath. If you need to send the kids to a separate room, or take a conference call - we’ve got you covered. The living room has a pocket door separating it from the rest of the first floor.
