Property itself was nice, could use some general maintenance as any house this age could. Many stairs to traverse from room to room. Bed sizes were all queen. I would recommend adding one king bed. Multiple light switches without knowing which outlet they belonged. Upstairs sitting area I would recommend a larger couch or footrests for the chairs. The couch and carpets could use a cleaning. Overall, it was roomy and very nice.

House was great and in a good location if you’re looking for some peace and quiet. Towards the end of the peninsula so a little less traffic and people on the beach. Awesome visit!

Very nice, clean property in the quiet Wild Dunes gated community. Pool and tennis courts right next door. Beach 10-minute walk away. 15-minute drive to restaurants. Beds are firm. 2 enclosed patios are great for enjoying the outdoors without the bugs.

Nice property

Very nice finishes inside and an enjoyable stay. No electrical outlet on the front of the property if you're thinking of renting a cart, and no place to hose off sand (not really a big deal to us, but the owner may not want people tracking it inside).

Beautiful inside and out.

Very nice property. Everything user friendly and 5star.Only thing that I saw that should be considered is the A/C didn’t always have the upstairs, where the living room, kitchen and upstairs bedroom are, at an optimal temperature. With that being said, I recommend highly and would stay here with my family again.

Location and house layout were good. The property's floors were filthy. The carpets in the bedrooms were stained, very dirty, and needed to be replaced. The check-in could have been much easier. It could have been done with a DocuSign document, and the house code could have been texted or emailed. Would not stay again unless the management company guaranteed cleanliness. This is the 2nd property that has been dirty with this management company.

Property was very clean. Communication with Island Realty was excellent, they were very helpful and quick to respond. Homeowner needs to do a few things to improve the property for the price we are paying to rent. Refrigerator leaks, repairman mentioned that there have been many issues with it, was not resolved. Kitchen needs to be better stocked, no cutting board, few cooking essentials. Heating element out on dryer, fortunately, dryer was being replaced after we left for next occupant. Island Realty, Whitney, extremely helpful finding a solution for our laundry. Golf cart rental is allowed at this property but be aware that because there is no garage access, charging can be an issue. Matt, with IOP cart rental was great, able to charge the golf cart at night off the lower screen porch, parking the cart behind the rental in pine needles. One neighbor across the street had an issue with this after we had been doing this for over half the week. We assured her that it wasn’t parked in the grass and moved it during the day to a parking spot. Most rentals from what I can tell do allow garage access. We explained our issue with charging. She was rude and untruthful. Other neighbors were very friendly and had no issue with it. Our family did have a wonderful time together, again, the unit was very clean and very pretty. Just needs a few improvements again for the price you are paying. Thank you Island Realty, excellent customer service!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The biggest issue involved the stairs and the very tight fit between doors and surrounding area. The The twenty-five steps to reach the general living quarters was not well suited for people over 65 years of age. Not a bad supply of cooking utensils and dishes, but not great either.

Thank you for taking the time to send us a review. Please note that the condo has a full 3D tour that you can view before renting. If you ever have questions about the properties you are renting we always recommend calling the office to speak to one of our Vacation Planners to help you find just the right property for your needs. Island Realty also would like you to know that we have a 24 hour housekeeping staff that can assist you with any cooking item that may be missing from your property. Thank you for your feedback and we hope to see you again soon.

updated well decorated condo

loved the decor. the high ceilings made place seem much larger. kitchen and bathrooms all updated. our big problem was maintenance. we contacted the company 3 times about floor vents being dislodged on arrival and master bath door being stuck. No one ever responded. The uncovered floor vents were a definite injury risk. Being stuck in bathroom until someone could push door open wasn't pleasant either. The location itself was 4.3 stars but the rental company definitely subpar.

Thank you for taking the time to let Island Realty know your experience. Our records show that our team did respond to your phone call and the vent in question was bent and a new one needed to be ordered. It is unfortunate when things cannot be fixed immediately during a guest stay. Your stay was during the 2 days our office was closed for Thanksgiving and we could only respond to emergency calls. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. It is through guest feedback that we can improve our service.
