House and property are fabulous! There is plenty of room for a large group and lots of spaces for gathering. The back deck is so peaceful and relaxing overlooking the plants and backyard. Beds are comfortable and kitchen is well equipped. It was great for a friends weekend.

Beautiful property, clean, and spacious with plenty of rooms and spaces for every member of my family! My family loved the indoor and outdoor spaces. The host was very responsive to our questions and accommodating to our needs. Just one thing to note there seems to be a shooting range nearby so if you are outside during the day you will hear faint popping sounds from the range.

Fantastic experience!

We so enjoyed our stay at JCS Farms! There were so many great touches geared toward kids and the location and home were beautiful. We will definitely stay here again!

Great home

This was very clean and spacious. My kids loved the animals and the dog out back. Joshua was a great liaison and we were very happy with our choice!

Our Second Stay

We've booked this rental two years in a row. We have a large family of hockey fans and we go to the annual Capitals vs Blackhawks game in DC. We first booked this property last spring and we were so happy with it, that we booked again this year. This is the first time we've ever booked the same place twice. This property is beautiful and excellently maintained. The house is huge and impeccably decorated. There is plenty of room for everyone to be comfortable and yet it's very cozy. Joshua, the property host, was amazing both years. He's extremely good at getting right back to me, keeping me informed, am answering any questions. I cannot recommend this rental property enough!

Modern House, Farm Feel

House was great for a Family Reunion. Nice place to sleep for out of towners, plenty to do to keep the kids busy (Basketball, ping pong, xbox, etc). Only down-side: Gun Range was close by so all day there was a constant sound of gunfire.

Amazing getaway!

We rented this house for my wedding week in Manassas. The house is very comfortable and modern. The backyard and the front yard was beautiful. Joshua would bring us fresh eggs from the chickens. We had an amazing stay and would love to stay again!!

Beautiful Comfortable Home!

JCS Farms was perfect for our group of seven family members. The bedrooms are separated into three sections of the home which allowed for space and privacy. The primary suite is on one side of the main floor and another suite of two rooms with a bathroom on the other side of the main floor. Another two bedrooms and bath are on the lower floor. The home is bright and airy with an amazing kitchen with large fridge and freezer. We cooked a lot, and I would say that our only comment that could use improvement would be the pans which are teflon and very scratched up. The grill is nice and large and on a beautiful deck. We also used the firepit which was fun. And finally, I will say that the whole process was very easy because Joshua was so accommodating and accessible before and during our stay. He made sure that any questions I had were answered quickly. Thank you!

Family get away

Checkout went fine, the house was great, you were very responsive with the CO2 issue. Our concern/issue was the other “guest” that were staying in the shack next to the fire pit. We did not realize we were sharing the property. We thought it would just be you as the care taker. We assumed the “workers” you mentioned on our call would not be there over night. We were caught off guard and did not feel comfortable letting our kids run around while others were around who we knew nothing about. I am not sure there is much more to say but if you feel a call is needed I can talk around 4.

OUTSTANDING

Gathered for a "girls weekend" to celebrate the pending arrival of a new baby! The house was perfect for hosting a large group. There were 9 adults and 3 children in all. There was plenty of room for everyone. The house was exactly as described and then some! The beds were comfy. The showers were wonderful! And that kitchen, wow! The table in the dining room was great for a large group. The only thing I would add would be a bit more seating on the deck. We brought folding camp chairs, so it wasn't an issue. The deck was fabulous. Joshua was great & his video provided helpful information. I would absolutely stay here again.

Spectacular

My family and I have stayed at many VRBO properties and this is definitely one of our favorites. It was very clean, very spacious and although it was near the city it was in a secluded beautiful area. We will definitely be atayinf here again.

Delightful

We had an incredible stay at JCS Farms.Beautiful, clean house. Lots of space. The main floor open concept was awesome for our family gathering/celebration. It was an extremely peaceful setting. Star gazing, nature, birds, and the sunrise every morning through the kitchen doors and bedroom windows! Just a fantastic stay and will definitely stay again. Joshua was so kind and helpful!

A secret gem within reason of D.C.

I had a Girl Scout trip planned to D.C.- and although I reserved and paid for a downtown hotel in November, there was somehow a problem with the reservation- this vrbo saved our trip! I was able to coordinate quickly with Josh and he was amazing at getting everything all lined-up for us. I was freaking out- but he put me totally at ease! Literally 24 hours before we got on a train! The property and house are beautiful- and after the stress of driving a 12 person rental van around the city all day(ugh!) it was so nice to come back to the peace of this property! They had everything we needed. Everything was clean and beautiful. The communication made it very easy to understand how to make us happy and how to keep the host happy as well! It is a really beautiful home. We all didn’t want to leave-

Family & Friends Wedding

Rented for a small family & friends wedding. House was beautiful, master was perfect, very clean, and all that was needed. Property manager was very helpful. Some process/communication was a bit more than we're used to.

Wonderful Stay

A whole group of us stayed in this home for an entire week. The home is spacious, beautifully thought-out and put together and great for big meals and gatherings together. Basically any provisions that you need are about a 10-15 minute car ride away. The nearby Bull Run Park is great for any kids who might also be staying at the house as well. We had a few small issues when we first checked-in, but I'm happy to say that the guest coordinator was extremely attentive and any questions or concerns we had were addressed within minutes. I'd be happy to stay here again.

The neighborhood is the perfect balance between nature and convenience. When you are on site, you feel like you are in the countryside, but hop in the car and you are minutes away from shopping and lots of 5 star restaurants.

The house itself is a historic landmark. The time frame structure is over 100 years old and is quite awe inspiring! The home is surrounded by an edible landscape. We have several berry patches, fruit trees and lots of herbs in our landscaping for your enjoyment. Stay in and just relax and connect with friends and family, or travel a short distance to DC to see the monuments and museums or to Shenandoah National Park for a refreshing hike or water tubing. We are also just minutes away from Bull Run Park, where there is hiking, playgrounds, and a water park.
