Bryson City Splendor

This was our second visit to the Smokey Mountains. The Moose Lodge was perfect! What a great, family friendly city too!

We had a very pleasant stay. Had everything we needed and was convenient to Bryson city and surrounding offerings. Island Park was a great find to walk our dog, right on the river. Will stay again!

Short Getaway

Just stayed for a few nights to get away. It was very clean, well stocked and very convenient to downtown. I loved they had everything labeled and instructions for how to use everything. Very cozy feeling. We will definitely go back.

Christmas Meet Up 2024

Met up in the middle with my daughter and SIL. The house space was comfortable with everything we needed, and some we didn't know we needed. We took advantage of firepit, games, sauna; we hiked, ate, drank. It was Great!

Peaceful relaxation

We enjoyed our stay. The location is close to town and other activities. The home-away-from-home is very spacious, comfortable and well-stocked with all you will need and more. Very clean. We enjoyed the outdoor space as well. I would recommend staying here.

Amazing spot in Bryson City

We really enjoyed our stay at the Moose Lodge Hideaway hosted by Anna and Sean. It had everything that we needed and Anna and Sean communicated well with us throughout our stay. Just a heads up to others that this is a 1-BR - the twin bunk beds are not located in a second bedroom (as VRBO lists as 2nd BR rather than common area), but rather, in an alcove between the bedroom and bathroom. This is accurately stated in the description, and it didn’t pose any issues for us. Our 11 year old daughter especially enjoyed little touches like the fashion magazines. Our 9.5 year old son loved the selection of games.We loved the location, as it was easy to reach the grocery store, Sylvia, the Deep Creek Loop Trailhead in the Great Smoky Mountains, the Bryson City Town Square, and Cherokee.We hope to return to see the fall foliage!

Week working on our NC LOT

We stayed at Sean and Anna's wonderful apartment while working to clear a lot we own in NC. The apartment was awesome, clean, comfortable and quiet right outside Bryson Cty. The accommodations and hosts were exceptional. We plan to return soon.

A beautifully appointed basement apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Nice landscaping. Great outdoor seating areas to enjoy the mountain surroundings. Thank you Anna & Sean, we had a wonderful stay.

Awesome Place to Stay

We were looking to book something in Bryson City, for just a couple of days, with less than one day's notice. The Hermanson's were prompt in their response and were great communicators. The space was clean and had everything anyone could need, plus more. It was really like staying with family.

Great Overnight Stay

I stayed here for a night with my cat while moving long distance. The space was beautifully decorated, clean and nestled away in a nice, quiet and seemingly safe location. Sean was friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. Wish I had more time to experience the space and area to its fullest!

So many extra nice touches!

Lovely, just lovely! It was everything as advertised and so much more. Only suggestions-fire starters for fire pit and a candle lighter, and hooks by the front door for jackets.

Hidden gem!

So happy we stumbled across Moose Lodge Hideaway when we began planning our Easter weekend getaway. The moment I saw the photos of comfy leather sofas and the well laid out space, decided this was just what we were looking for. It did not disappoint! Anna and Sean have included all the comforts of home. A well equipped kitchen. Great beds. Washer and dryer. Even a sauna in the bathroom! They were also quick to respond to any of our messages. We will definitely be returning.

Sean was very detailed oriented in his instructions, he checked on us to see if we were comfortable and enjoying our stay. House super clean and very well organized. We enjoyed very much our stay, unfortunately a little shorter than we had hoped for due to family matters.

What a beautiful and quiet place to stay

Lovely, roomy space. Kitchen well kitted out, tv with netflix. Sauna (!!). Games. And so quiet. Steep, but you can walk to town, it is about 20 minutes. Nice space to sit outside. Fire pit. We stayed for 4 nights. We loved it and would recommend it to everyone.

We are happy to give recommendations if you reach out to us (we hiked Alum Cave recently and it was awesome!).

We love the seclusion yet being so close to the town center. The property is visited by many kinds of birds, sometimes deer, even the odd turtle. Guests are welcome to check out the goldfish pond in the front yard.
