Carrot Top Cottage surrounded by National Park

Tucked in middle of Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Carrot Top Cottage is just steps off the Appalachian Trail and a short walk to the world-renowned attractions of Harpers Ferry.

Enjoy the history and natural beauty of Harpers Ferry from your own well-appointed private cottage with all the comforts of home. Play in the spacious backyard, relax around the firepit, or read a book on the wrap-around porch that looks out over the grounds of the National Park headquarters.

• Full bath with heated floor
• 4K TV with streaming apps on Roku

• Futon (not ideal for an adult but great for a child)
• Patio and fire pit

The Cottage is designed to sleep up to 4 adults with the king bed and full-size bed. The futon in the loft is great for kids but we don't recommend it for an adult.

You'll be walking distance to:

• Jefferson Rock
• Train station
• Appalachian Trail and the Appalachian Trail Conservancy

We enjoyed our visit to Harper's Ferry while staying at this cute place. Everything was clean, the kitchen was well stocked and the location was central.

A great location to get out and about on foot in Harper’s Ferry. Enjoyed time on porch and being able to sleep with a window open one night. Nice space, relaxing, clean.. peaceful spot!

The cottage is perfect. It feels like you are stepping into someone’s immaculately decorated guest house for the weekend. It is within walking distance to everything in Harper’s Ferry but if you wanted to skip it all this would be the house to do nothing in. A beautiful front porch, woods and a meadow to look at with deer and groundhogs making daily appearances. Or if you wanted to hike the AT, it’s less than 100 yards away. The Carrot Top Cottage was a dream spot for our family of 5 and our kids were so bummed to go home.

Anniversary Get Away

Our stay at the Carrot Top was great. It was clean, beautifully decorated and wonderfully cool in the 90 degrees days we were there. The owners are very communicative and accommodating. Would love to go back again!

Exceptional in all ways! Charming cottage in a perfect location. This was the cleanest place we have ever rented and the service to reserve and communicate was excellent.

Cottage was very clean, inviting and unique. Easy access to shops and restaurants as well as National Historical Park. The owners initiated most of the communications regarding check in and check out and communicated both emails and texting. Would love to come back and stay again!!
