I had a great stay. The house is tastefully decorated and has every amenity you can think of. The hosts are friendly and replied almost immediately to a question I had. I would definitely stay there again.

The dome was exactly as pictured! Very clean and comfortable! Very well stocked...Emily and Chuck have covered just about everything! They were great hosts and super easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again!

A very comfortable, iconic spot. Beautiful views through the back windows. Well appointed kitchen. Level 2 charging provided in an area w/very few public charging options. Large airy spaces. Very responsive hosts. Well situated with access to local venues, C & O canal, and Antietam history. A place to which I will return.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Dome Sweet Dome. As soon as we walked in it felt homey. Our favorite parts were the fire pit out back, inside fireplace, the quiet inside and out, excellent view, cleanliness, and well stocked rental. The rooms are spacious and organized with lots of lovely displayed photo art. This is probably the most unique rental we’ve stayed at and certainly among the most well stocked. We didn’t need to go out and buy items such as spices. Hosts were quick to respond to any questions and were willing to go the extra mile. The location is convenient to Harper’s Ferry, Antietam, and Gettysburg battlefield areas and more. Thanks to Chuck and Emily for being so great!

We love it when people “do all the things”. The weather was fabulous, we’re so glad you enjoyed the fire pit. That back patio with the late fall asters, goldenrod & fabulous views of Antietam Creek & the Potomac River (better when the leaves fall!) is our favorite spot. Emily dabbles in photography, & loves that you enjoyed her work. We’ve been in too many rentals where people don’t even have salt or pepper, much less vanilla extract, BBQ sauce & taco seasoning. There are sage & thyme plants, as well as lemon balm, in the gardens. Glad you made use of it! See you next time!

Loved the area. House was very clean and the host were very polite. The water has a very foul odor from the well, but that is not within the host control so everything else was excellent.

The well passes all health standards, but the H2SO4 has a sulfur smell. It is good for skin, we’ve been tempted to market it as “spa water” 😉. We’ll update the well as soon as we can afford to, until then, we include fragrance tabs for the shower. 😎

Our family of five were in town for a wedding right down the street at Greenhill Farms. It was the perfect location with beautiful viewa. The dome had so many extra amenities. We will be visiting again! Thank you Emily!!

Emily and Chuck are fantastic hosts and the Dome was a great place to stay. Had come to finish riding the C&O canal trail, some hiking and visiting DC. The Dome is very quiet. Got to see hummingbirds visit their feeder multiple times and cardinals and purple finches coming to the seed feeder. Also got to see multiple deer, rabbits and butterflies. Woke up every morning to some very talkative birds. The dome had everything I needed, comfortable couch, bed, tv, desk, grill and a nice covered patio.And thanks to their hike recommendation, was fortunate enough to see an owl take flight three times while on a hike to Weverton Cliffs and a section of the Appilachian Trail out to the Ed Garvey. Can't and won't guarantee that everyone will be as lucky.
