Moana Imaku - Ocean View Home w/ ADA Features

Aloha and Welcome to Moana Imaku! Come and enjoy your Hawaiian getaway in a lovely, spacious, light filled home all your own. In creating this vacation home it was important for the owner to build a place that could be enjoyed by all, including the differently abled. This home is wheel chair accessible from the entry ramp to the wide doorways and easy-access showers in both bathrooms. There are lots of extra features for those with special needs. Everyone in your group will love the ocean view lanai a block from the ocean... and you may meet the neighborhood hen, Henrietta, who often leaves a freshly laid egg for guests on a chair cushion!

When you enter this hale you will notice the lovely tropical furnishings and décor, shiny African mahogany floors, large fully equipped gourmet kitchen with top of the line appliances, and dining area. Not to mention the newly furnished and comfortable lanai with 2 loveseats, 2 chairs and a dining table that sits 4. The spacious living room includes a Smart TV and plenty of seating area.

The bedrooms consist of a four poster queen size bed in the master bedroom with its own master bathroom. First guest room has two single beds and second guest room has one queen size bed. Guest bathroom is conveniently located between both bedrooms.
Moana Imaku also features indoor laundry room with front load washer & dryer, and a 400 square foot lanai where you can enjoy outdoor dining and take in your ocean views.
This hale is located on the beautiful Puna coast a block from the ocean and the beautiful ocean park, bringing you our island sunshine and trade breezes on the sunrise side of the island.
We hope that when you come to Moana Imaku that you will find the tranquility and harmony of these beautiful islands. NOTE: there is no beach access in the neighborhood as the ocean cliffs are more than 20 feet high - breathtaking for photographers and other nature lovers!

This place was very open, light, and had great accommodations. The view of the ocean was wonderful! Please note that there is no air conditioning and the house got REALLY WARM throughout the day (temp in the house was 86-88 degrees). The bedrooms were very nice, but the beds were VERY uncomfortable (coming from someone who is not very picky). However, we did enjoy our stay there very much! We especially loved the outside space where we ate our meals.

We haven't heard from any other guests about the beds being uncomfortable, but we will pass that on to the home owner so she has it on record. We had an amazing stay at Moana Imaku—everything was absolutely perfect. The home was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. One of our favorite parts was how close it was to the ocean. Being able to hear the waves all night long made it incredibly relaxing and peaceful. We truly loved our time here and would definitely stay again.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was perfect for our group, had everything we needed. It is in a very lovely quiet neighborhood with a view of the ocean. Only issue is lack of anything walkable like a store or beach. That is our error because it was our first time to Hawaii and we really had no idea about distance! Overall loved our stay.

Awesome location with all you need.

The property was very clean, kitchen stocked with everything you need. The porch is awesome. It has a great view and always had a breeze. Would stay here again for sure. The mermaid ponds are right down the street!

Loved being in this wonderful home.

There were 4 of us loving sitting on the lanai rain or shine listening to the coquis at night. I cannot imagine a more welcoming, comfortable or charming place to stay. I will be back if I can.

Idyllic Location and Lovely Home

We especially enjoyed all the fans in every room and the nice large lanai, where we had breakfast every morning looking at the view of the ocean. This is a very spacious property and had lots of room for the three of us. There were plenty of windows to open when we returned after a day of touring around, which helped to dissipate the heat.
