Very wonderful place to stay!! Has everything you need at property, The fruit trees in yard was awesome, had dragon fruit, coconuts, bread fruit. Bikes to ride down to the beach, snorkeling gear and even surf boards. Talked to host he is very informative knows the area just an all around cool person. Would definitely stay again in the future.

My family and I were very satisfied with the accommodations. Whatever we did not have was available at the house. It was quiet and relaxing with plenty of beautiful scenery. We would definitely stay here again

Once again we had a great time at this property. This was our second time staying here in 2 years. It has everything needed to make your Big Island trip awesome. We will definitely stay here again when we go to the Big Island;Mahalo Howard!

The house was beautiful, and the yard was amazing! We were spoiled by the fruit trees out front and how quiet the neighborhood is. I already miss the sounds of the coqui frogs. The house was very central to our sights we wanted to see, mainly the waterfalls and Volcano National Park were within a manageable drive away. The host was very helpful in suggesting areas to visit, and very helpful with whatever questions we had about the house/property. I would 100% stay here again.

Howard is awesome! Were allowed to get fresh fruit from the yard while staying there. He even drilled into the coconuts for the kids. There is plenty of extra swimming and snorkeling gear for the family if you forget any. Bring bug spray and hangout on the porch and enjoy dinner with the family while listening to the waves crashing. Morning coffee watching the sunrise is a great way to start the day

Great house, very spacious. Each bedroom has its own in room bath and outdoor deck area. Full kitchen, outdoor desk around living room. Host is very responsive. Excellent place, I would highly recommend

Everything was perfect! Well appointed kitchen was fantastic. 3 large bedrooms, all with ensuit bathrooms. Very clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay there again.

I can’t say enough great about this house, property or host. It was absolutely perfect for our family. Each day after being out to explore all day we could come back and shower and still have lots of fun just spending the evening shooting baskets in the driveway, playing pool, darts, riding bikes to the shore, etc. Howard is a most generous, accommodating host!!

Great space to visit and have room to both gather and spread out. Great-sized rooms for each of us and beds were comfortable (bedding needs updating) and showers were perfect. Walking down a short distance to the ocean was great every morning. You can hear the waves (well, the strong crashing ones) from the house. The Kona Low had the weather raining a lot but we loved the warmth.

The house provided a lot of space. We loved the many lanais and its proximity to the ocean. Being outside of Hilo, it was peaceful but close enough to easily get to Hilo or Volcanos National Park. Our host was very responsive to our questions.

We had wonderful experience at this property. The home was big and spacious, and overall very clean—plenty of room to relax and feel comfortable. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the beautiful fruit trees throughout the property. We also loved being just a few blocks away from a spectacular ocean view and sunrise spot. Everything went smoothly on our stay.

A comfortable and welcoming accommodation with an absolutely fantastic garden, as its own little slice of paradise!The weather was hot and very humid, the fans provided helped but some AC would be most welcome.

The host is great about communicating. I loved having the extra space for my family and it’s wonderful they have everything you need to take to the beach. We enjoyed having bikes to explore around the area. The only draw back, which is also a plus, was extra driving to get to places. I liked the quiet area.

Loved the lanais all over the house. The yard was incredible with all the sites and sounds - loved the frog melodies. There was nothing else we could have asked for. Being close to the shore with two cool places to watch the sunrise and waves was a bonus. Host was responsive.

Howard is such an amazing host. Very responsive whenever we had questions and gave great advice on activities on the island. This place is even better than it looks in the pictures. We were blown away by the size of the bedrooms, each with their own bathroom. The covered patios and decks is where we spent so much time in the mornings and evenings after exploring the area. We also enjoyed a few days just hanging out at the house, going for bike rides, playing pool etc. Our girls already asked when we can come back before we even checked out. We will absolutely be back and would recommend this home and host to anyone contemplating on visiting Big Island.
