We had a great stay. We did a few day getaway and enjoyed every minute of it. Traveled with three teenage boys and they found plenty to do between the game room and the card table. The house is close to a lot of amenities, but still far enough away to enjoy the quiet and nature. My husband fished with his bass boat everyday while we were there. He really liked that it was close and accessible. I enjoyed my time on the porch and relaxing! Highly recommend!

This home is in one of the best locations you could ask for, second only to being directly on the water. I was looking for a place where my sister's family and my aging parents could all relax and enjoy time together, and this house exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.I contacted the host, Samantha Rainwater, several times before our arrival and during our stay, and she always responded promptly and was very helpful. Her excellent communication made the entire experience even better.I would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a comfortable, conveniently located place to stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would gladly stay here again.

The property had everything we needed for our short spring break vacation. Our children loved the game room and fire pit. The location was close to grocery stores, restaurants, and the lake. The host was very responsive and helpful. I would definitely return to this property when I’m visiting Lake Chatuge again.

Beautiful home located close to town with glimpses of the lake from every level of the home. Everything we needed during our stay was provided. Preparing and enjoying meals together was a breeze. Plenty to do with games, poker table, board games, pool table, hot tub, rockers and swing. Great experience and will absolutely stay here agin!

The house is stunning and has the best views of the lake and sunrises. The house is well-equipped with every thing you could possibly need or want. The house is centrally located, so it’s close to everywhere but is still nestled away from the hustle and bustle. We loved it and would definitely stay there again!

My family does a mountain get-away twice a year and this was a little different with the house location on the road but we enjoyed our stay and the view.

Such a cute place! Our multigenerational family loved it. The kitchen is well equipped, rooms very well maintained. Kids and the adults really enjoyed the game room and corn hole outside. The beds are so comfortable! We hope to come back next year.

We were absolutely in love with this house! From the wrap around porch, the color, the decor to the firepit, everything was perfectly curated to enjoy our trip.The only downside was we could not get the downstairs TV, jukebox and pinball machine to work. Would recommend leaving instructions for the TV.

Great!

The house was amazing- so clean and cozy. Loved the games downstairs as did my kids. Lots of relaxing by the fireplace watching the deer outside. The owner was very available for any questions too. Definitely will return!!

Bach Weekend 2023

We had an amazing Bachelor+Bachelorette weekend at this property!! It was very clean, accessible, and close to town and the lake. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and accommodated our wedding party of 9 very comfortably. Would definitely recommend it to other family and friends and hope to come and stay again!

Everything you need in one place.

Location, privacy, dishes, coffee, games, cleanliness, linens, parking, scenery, hot tub, Everything has been thought of and there for you! Not one box left unchecked. Highly recommend!

Family Vacation

Blue Chatugue was a beautiful cabin and was exactly as portrayed online. It had everything we needed and the game room was a hit with the teenagers. The cabin is in a great location close to many other towns, hiking trails and restaurants. There is plenty to do. The host was very responsive on the one question I had. We would definitely stay there again.

Blue Chatuge

Great property with cool amenities. Pool table/video games kept my teens and young adults entertained and engaged. Lake chatuge is our favorite place to spend time on the water and this location/proximity was perfect to marinas and restaurants.

Eric, thank you for your review! In regards to kitchenware, our home is considered fully stocked, the two items you mentioned in your messages (serving bowls and a colander) have been added. We did offer to send those two requested items right away once you made us aware, but I did not receive a response, unfortunately. I also offered to send our cleaner out right away when you mentioned dust on the appliances, but again I did not receive a response. The dust that was hiding on top of some of the appliances has been taken care of, thank you for making us aware! We would have loved the opportunity to handle your requests while you were staying with us, but still appreciate the feedback.

Wonderful Owner and Home

We had some health issues pop up during our stay and the owner went above and beyond with communication and help because of our early departure. Any issues we did have at the beginning of our stay were addressed immediately. Her responsiveness was impeccable. The home is beautiful, well kept, and the kids loved the game room.
