We had a great time at Little Yellow Cottages! The cottage (#5) and property were clean and well kept-up. The location is excellent, too, and just about everything in town is within easy walking distance (including the beach).The hosts were flexible and accommodating, especially when we realized we had booked the stay for one day less than we had thought. We were able to stay an extra night at a good rate and finish our vacation the way we wanted.We definitely recommend Little Yellow Cottages, and plan on booking there the next time we're up in the Thumb area.

Memorial Day Weekend in Port Austin

Our stay was enjoyable! We mostly visited friends who have a home on the beach and enjoyed the restaurants and shops downtown!

Classic Port Austin

This adorable cottage is conveniently located to the beach, boardwalk, and shops of Port Austin. You will not be disappointed if you stay here! The property manager was super responsive and helpful as well!

Great location central to downtown PA

We stayed three nights in cottage 5. Great location and cute, clean and comfortable accommodations. They’re exactly as pictured and described. Our only issue was the screen doors were broken but everything else was great for our stay.

Cute and comfortable.

The cottage was so cute and comfortable. Close to the beach, the farmer’s market and other areas of town. I would definitely recommend it.

Quaint cottage vacation

We loved our stay at the little yellow cottages. The town was a small village by the lake with little shops and good places to eat. The cottage is a perfect walking distance to the beach and everything else in town. It was clean and stocked with the necessities for cooking. We are a family of 6 with 4 teens so it was definitely small for us but it was cozy. We spent time outside and with the small space it made us reconnect in ways we haven’t in a long time. :) Communication with the Guest family was amazing. They were friendly and very accommodating. The cottage is on a property with 5 other cottages so it would be perfect for a large group to rent more cottages to vacation together. The backyard is a community space with a gas and charcoal grill, picnic tables and a fire pit. We had the space to ourselves since there were no other renters the week we stayed. outside was stocked with all you needed for cooking and the fire pit had wood. The kitchen was a little challenging to make meals for our large family bc of the size but we got creative and made it work. Port Austin Kayak is a fun place to check out and is walking distance from the cottage. Adventure Golf is a beautiful mini golf course just 10 min down the road on the way to Caseville. Grindstone general store is an awesome place for ice cream with giant scoops. 10 min drive out of town but worth it! Farmers market is on Saturdays. Overall we had a great time!
