SandyCabins Duplex Beach House - Garden Side Cabin
This knotty pine duplex cabin is situated among young fruit trees with a private barking sand beach on the beautiful Lake Huron. With a fire pit, a bountiful garden and lots of sand, this charming cabin is the perfect place for a large family holiday or a group trip to the beach.
Our cabin faces the garden, but it is just a few steps around the back for direct access to our private beach which you’ll share with the guests in the Lake Side Cabin. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of sand for everyone!
A charcoal grill awaits your brats or steaks or whatever was on sale at Walt’s Meat Market across the street.
This can be a quiet romantic getaway for long walks on the beach, or an exciting family splash fest with fire roasted hot dogs and scorched marshmallows. We ask our guests to leave the cabin as they found it.
Our cabin faces the garden, but it is just a few steps around the back for direct access to our private beach which you’ll share with the guests in the Lake Side Cabin. Don’t worry, there’s plenty of sand for everyone!

We enjoyed our stay at Sandy cabins beach house. The kitchen had everything we needed, beds were very comfortable and loved staying on the beach

Super cute little cabin right on the water. My husband and I took our two little kids and spent a last minute weekend here. It was a great place for a quiet reset and time away as family!

House basically clean, but very dated. No direct beach view, guests had to walk through neighbors yard to access the beach. Parking was fine for three cars.Structure fine and new along with new windows and doors. Interior furnishing very old and looked like Salvation Army rejects. Kitchen frig and laundry machines new and worked well. Kitchen stove very old electric, rusting. Kitchen utensils, plates were unmatched, cereal/soup bowls were unmatching in size and color. The BBQ utensil set was hanging on the wall from end of a lawn rake…worse than that was a used dirty fly infested FLY SWATTER. The fly swatter was next to the bbq grill spatula! The linens and towels were clean and good. Overall okay at best and defiantly overpriced.

We had a great weekend at Sandy cabins!
We loved staying at Sandy Cabins. The cabin was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and everything was as advertised. Our fur babies loved the sand and water and the lake front location was perfect. We think this might be our new yearly weekend get-a-way with our boys!

This was our family’s second time visiting Port Austin. We stayed at Sandy Cabins last year, and we loved it so much that we decided to stay there again this year.

Wonderful stay and good location.
We stayed in mid-May and it was chilly, so the beach was not used at all. The home is cute, clean and beds were very comfortable. Great location to go between Port Austin and Caseville. Lots of outdoor chairs and grill available.

Nice cottage
We had a lovely stay. The kids enjoyed the water and the cottage. It was clean and comfortable.

Excellent! The beach is quiet and perfect. Close to Caseville and Port Austin downtowns. Second stay this summer, nothing not to love about the cottage!! Will be back.

Birthday/4th of July
We stayed from the 3rd to the 4th of July, the house was very clean and super cool. Paul was amazing answered all my questions right away. We loved it and had a great stay. The beds were extremely comfortable.
