The Lake House was beautiful and excellent and very clean. The team at the front office was very helpful and friendly. We'll definitely come back. Thank you for a beautiful vacation, my family loved it

Enjoyed this waterfront property for family vacation.

Great location with fun amenities for kids including pool table and hot tub.

Big house

My family came for a short visit to Big Bear in July. The house is very large with a pool table and foosball table and the kids loved that. The downside was no water access because the lake is so low and no air conditioning and only a few fans, so it was hot in the house. The backyard was very nice with a jacuzzi, BBQ and lots of big trees for shade.

Hello Jennifer, Thank you for taking the time to write us a review. This home does offer a couple of activities which are great for bigger groups like yours. Unfortunately, we are experiencing a drought which we don't have control over, but let everyone know if the descriptions of our properties. Only 10% of homes in Big Bear have AC. This home just so happens to be one of the homes that do not have it. We do list this in the description of the home. What we do recommend, due to the majority of the homes not having AC, is opening the windows at night, as well as turning on the ceiling fans, and some of the box fans in homes. Having a larger backyard with amenities like the ones that The Lakehouse has is great for everyone. Kind Regards, Destination Big Bear

Miserable experience STAY AWAY renters BEWARE

If you stay in this property, do not expect to receive your security deposit back. Owner is a crook and decided to steal our money to upgrade their property at our expense. STAY AWAY from this owner and this management - DESTINATION BIGBEAR .

Hello Annalie, The majority of deposits are returned in full unless damage is found. During your checkout report, it was brought to our attention that your party had misused the latch on the wood door in the living room. The cost to repair it was roughly $75 which we provided an invoice for and returned the remaining amount of the deposit. Kind Regards, Destination Big Bear
