We did a family reunion vacation at the laughing bear lodge and it did not disappoint! They thought of everything, from the well stocked kitchen, to the basement area full of activities we had no shortage of anything! This property is beautiful, the host was very communicative, and everyone really enjoyed our visit. Highly recommend and already considering coming again!

We had an amazing time at this lodge we had 21 people adults and kids ranging 2-15 and we all fit comfortably with beds to spare. Lots of things for kids to do and play in the rec room and outside if weather permits. Would absolutely return!

The lodge was even more beautiful than we could have anticipated. We were there for my bachelorette weekend, and it couldn't have been a more perfect location for a large group. Everyone had such fun wandering the grounds and lazing down by the river, sitting in the chairs around the fire pit and lounging in the hot tub (!), sleeping in comfortable beds and playing all the games downstairs. The host was communicative and helpful; getting in to the house was a breeze. Cell service is a little dodgy in the area, but once you're on the wifi, all is well! And they have an incredible SONOS system all throughout the house. The lodge has every amenity for a cozy, delightful stay. 1000/10. We can't wait to go back!

Amazing property with great hosts.....HIGHLY recommend

The property and location were stunning. Several great entertainment/sports options to keep everyone entertained. Laughing Bear greatly exceded all expectations.

Perfect Booking for Large Group

This location had it all! Great for a larger group and Sarah was very helpful and easy to work with. One of the attendees is already looking at future dates to book.

Simply Perfection

Laughing Bear Lodge was absolutely perfect for our growing family! Plenty to do for the kids and very spacious. We are already trying to figure out when we can all meet back at LBL!

Friendcation

We have a group that vacations together every summer and this was the perfect house for our group. We had a great time hanging out on the property, but we also did white water rafting and zip lining nearby. We would definitely recommend!

Unique, superb location for large groups

This is a wonderfully large but still very cozy option for group retreats or family get-togethers. The bedrooms are all very comfortable and separated just enough from the main gathering areas. The basement game area and basketball court add plenty of activity options. The hosts are very kind and communicative, as well.

Expansive and beautiful property of 7 acres all to yourself

Wonderful property with outdoor volleyball, fire pit and indoor games and basketball games. We had the best time.

Ladies Retreat

Our stay was wonderful! The house and property was amazing! We had 23 ladies who went on this trip and everyone loved it! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend! And Sarah was amazing to work with!

Great stay!!

Laughing Bear Lodge was the nicest rental property I've ever stayed at by far. The pictures really do not do it justice. Sarah is also there for every need possible. We will definitely try to get back to LBL!

Family Reunion

The property was beautiful. It had so many activites to keep everyone having fun. Fishing, swimming, golfing, basketball, pool, ping pong, and video games. Great place for a large family reunion.

Business Meeting Retreat

We hosted our sales team for a three day retreat. The home and property was awesome! Everyone enjoyed their time here. We did a teambuilding scavenger hunt in Blue Ridge, Georgia, which is very close to where the property is. We highly recommend this property for large groups and gatherings.

We had an amazing stay, and everything listed in the amenities was exactly as described. The property has so many unique features that made the experience really memorable.The creek was one of our favorite parts. It has a clear start and end point and was incredibly refreshing during the heat. There were also plenty of floaties available, so everyone had the opportunity to enjoy it comfortably. The basketball court was spacious, and the arcade options were especially unique and fun. There were plenty of bathrooms throughout the property, and they were all well stocked. There is also a theater room, although we didn’t end up using it during our stay.The custom details throughout the space were really charming and gave the property a lot of character. The kitchen was well stocked, organized, and easy to navigate. The main refrigerator was very spacious, and we especially appreciated having the smaller refrigerator in the back that cooled things down much faster.We did experience a few minor issues with the well-water distribution throughout the house. Most were minimal, but one room consistently had extremely hot/scalding water, so that may be something worth checking.Overall, this was an amazing location with so much to offer. The property exceeded our expectations, and we definitely felt that it was worth the cost. We would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a unique and memorable stay!

Great Retreat

We enjoyed our weekend at Laughing Bear Lodge. The kitchen was very spacious with everything needed to make a feast. The basement was great and the games would be great for kids. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and the space outside. The deck is great and having the Traeger there was a huge plus. We will be visiting again!
