The cabin has a very steep driveway, but there is parking at a lower level.
Great views from two balconies. Lots of wildlife… elk, deer, turkeys.
Propane grill, propane Firepit, picnic table, nice kitchen, Tv with dvd’s, games. Only minutes from Ski Cloudcroft and the village.

Had a fantastic time at the cabin! Very clean and we were delighted that we could bring our dog. It was wonderful to see all the wildlife and the temperature was perfect along with the early afternoon rain showers. The patio in the back was a great place to kick back and BBQ and there was also one of those gas powered fire pits.Super positive vibe. We will definitely be looking to come back to this place in the future.Thanks!

Excellent place! We so enjoyed the cabin, views, the pond area with baby ducks, and the friendly area. The cabin was spacious, immaculate, and well-appointed with everything we could have needed, including bird seed and deer corn! I loved the balconies, and we spent a lot of time there, just taking in the scene and the COOL AIR! (We live in central Texas, and that's a huge thing for us!) Judy could not possibly be any more pleasant, personable, and helpful.We had zero issues with our wonderful stay.HIGHLY recommended.

Nice relaxing vibe with everything you need. Set up for readers with two nice recliners with reading lamps. Large TV and a selection of movies as well.A cow Elk or two visited every afternoon to visit the salt like and the corn (provided) that we put out. Don't forget the bird seed in the closet if you like birds around.All in all a nice relaxing stay

Mountain Oasis

We had a wonderful visit to Cloudcroft! The A-Frame is perfectly secluded, yet very convenient to town and all that nature offers! So cozy and beautiful mountain setting!

Beautiful

I couldn't have been happier with our stay. My boys had a blast. Judy was super responsive if i had any questions and the house was clean and had everything and more than we needed. I can't wait to go back.

Relaxing stay

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, especially sitting outside, there are three places to sit and enjoy the birds and wildlife. The kitchen is well stocked, and we appreciated the use of the propane grill as well. Road noise was a little louder than I wanted, but views are great. Judy was quick to respond every time I had a question.

Mini Texas Heat Relieve

This cabin was fantastic - the best stocked we have every stayed in. The location is perfect, it has 3 decks to choose from, a gas grill, fire pit and chiminea with plenty of firewood provided and bird feeders with food supplied so lots of fun bird viewing. There were elk, deer, chipmunks and squirrels that visited daily as well - icing on the cake! We loved our stay here - thank you Judy!

Absolutely amazing

Our stay here was just what we needed! The view was just beautiful. This was the first trip we have taken that we actually spent more time at the cabin then going anywhere. I spent most of my time in the back porch watching the wildlife. I would definitely stay again. The cabin was so cozy. They had records to listen to and games to play. I just can’t say enough how much we enjoyed this stay!

Solid Accomodations

Clean, comfortable property with more “space” than you might expect from limited square footage. Three decks is a big plus! Lots of wildlife for feeding and viewing. Great gas grill and gas fire pit (marshmallow grilling unit). The young kids loved it. Visiting the pond in the evening provided much pleasure as the elk and ducks are thick then. One of the more satisfying vacation rental experiences.

Cozy Cabin!

This cabin is nestled in the mountains and surrounded by trees. Its secluded location and the cabin itself were charming. It was very clean and we felt comfortable. The driveway is a bit challenging so we were happy to be in our 4-wheel drive truck because we arrived during rain. The stairs to the bedrooms are very steep. Neither of those things were problematic for us. The only thing we didn't like was that the living room furniture is older and uncomfortable. We would stay here again!!

Quick getaway

Beautiful, quiet accommodations in the forest. Well equipped. Elks and deer visited daily. Only disappointment was the grill was dirty and propane ran out while cleaning and preheating grill. Got there too late to get propane until next day. Steaks and chops were great next 2 days. Even had visitors (deer and elk) while grilling.

“It’s a special place” she said. And WOW-was she right! The wildlife and surroundings here are off the hook! The deer and elk came by in the evenings - there was deer corn provided - use it! There is birdseed provided as well - use it! And don’t forget the hummingbird feeders too! We bought more seed and suet in town at the hardware store - I would recommend bringing it inside at night. The cabin itself was super cozy and clean. It was like going to grandma’s house!! (I mean that in the most loving way ). Everything was so very thoughtfully placed and thought of. There is no wireless-which freaked us out at first - not sure why - just habit I think. But they have decent cell service there - so no worries. The only thing we missed there - was just a hook for our hats - other than that - they have thought of EVERYTHING!! I can’t recommend this place enough!!! We felt so lucky that we found it!!! Thank you Judy and Dale for sharing your “special place”….Good to know:* 4 wheel drive handy to get up the driveway* If you don’t have - they have a lower parking spot - just have to carry ur stuff up the short but steep driveway. It’s not that far. But just an fyi.

This cabin is amazing! Private, quiet and the wildlife is awesome . We saw so many elk and deer. It just absolutely beautiful! We will definitely be back here .

This was a very clean, decorative, peaceful place with everything we needed! We enjoyed relaxing outside and seeing various birds and many elk around. The cabin was comfortable, spacious and provided great views with various decks. We were pleased with the fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, grill and propane fire pit! The host provided detailed instructions, which was greatly appreciated! The only recommendation would be to have a code to the community trash bin!We would definitely return for another stay here!

Weekend getaway

Very nice and stocked cabin. Only issues was no WiFi or cell phone service. Also no instructions for the TV system.
