The home was peaceful, exceptionally clean, and beautifully decorated, making it feel welcoming and comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location was also very convenient, which made our trip even more enjoyable. Most importantly, the host was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, ensuring that everything went smoothly. We would definitely recommend this location and stay again.

So sorry you didn’t find the pans - pots and pans in the bottom right cabinet to the right of the stove. Wish you had reached out - I would have helped with that.

I would have given this a five star review if there would have been a washer and dryer available in the unit. When staying somewhere for a week, having the ability to do laundry in the unit is so helpful.

Thank you for staying at the Mountain Laurel‘s retreat. I appreciate your review. And a washer and dryer is not listed on the amenities, however, the guidebook does provide the nearest laundromat that is less than a mile from the home. But do come back anytime you’re in the area if you’d like!

Weekend getaway

Wonderful retreat for a relaxing weekend. Lots of area attractions to go too. House was clean, comfortable & well stocked with everything we needed.

Charming Cottage in the Woods, convenient location

Had a wonderful and relaxing stay. Had a great time exploring local restaurants in Uniontown while enjoying daytime adventures at Ohiopyle State Park and Falling Water. The property was cute, clean and comfortable. Linda was prompt in providing information and responding.

Good stay

The cabin was clean, however it had a musty smell to it.

Thank you for staying and I do hope you had a nice time. Sometimes the cabin does get a musty smell to it due to the mountain/woods surroundings. In comfortable weather - it helps to open the windows and have fresh air move around inside. I do hope you’ll come back some time in the future.

What a sweet little place. The challenge here is the parking when you have a larger vehicle.

The property was wonderful. The quality and decor of the inside is exceptional. I had been looking for a place for both of us that was centrally located to Ohiopyle and it was perfect. The close proximity to the highway has its pros and cons but it was quiet at night.

Escape from the city

Conveniently located to all of our plans for week plus found some great local restaurants, winery and distillery. Quiet wooded neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch after our days activities to enjoy the night air. The home is comfortable and inviting inside as well.

Weekend trip in November

We had a wonderful stay! House was clean, nicely decorated, and easy to check in and check out. We went to Ohiopyle for hiking, ate great food and then came back to the house for movies. It was the perfect weekend. Thank you so much.

Home Away from Home

This is our 3rd time staying at this location. Very cozy and clean. Nice amenities for a comfortable experience. Beautiful front porch to relax and enjoy the nature and surroundings. We will return again!

SUPER CLEAN AND PRIVATE

We ate dinner on the front porch and it was so nice. Had squirrel and turkey in the backyard and an owl at night. The place was super clean and even had a Kitchenaid mixer in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect Getaway

My wife and I stayed here for the weekend for a late anniversary trip. Linda was very accommodating and left us check in early after a long day at the park. The decor and furnishing are all up to date. The place was very clean and had everything you need for a short or extended stay. We enjoyed the fire pit outside, which had plenty of firewood for the stay. Will definitely look this place up again when we are in the area the next time.

Fabulous Stay!

This property is even more charming than pictured. The entire home was spotless. We appreciated thoughtful extras such as night lights, well-equipped kitchen, board games & cards and a comprehensive notebook regarding how the tv and fireplace operate, local restaurant recommendations and more. At the last minute we asked to stay another night and Linda responded quickly and was able to accommodate our request. A must stay if you are in the area.

Relaxing Laurel Retreat

Laurel Retreat was a wonderful place to stay. Linda was an excellent communicator. The house was extremely clean. The wi-fi was strong, I had several devices connected without any problems. The house was very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The location is perfectly located for access to Ohiopyle and the Frank Lloyd Wright properties. I would recommend this location.

Clean and spacious

I've stayed at a lot of properties and this one ranks as one of the very best, for lots of reasons. It was sparkling clean, there was lots of room (the whole house!), the bed was comfortable, the towels were high quality and there were plenty of dishes, silverware, etc. Our contact person was always easy to communicate with, and was very welcoming. She put a lot of thought into the information book which had area restaurants and attractions. I would definitely stay there again.
