What an incredible property and host. The listing was everything advertised plus more. I brought some friends from all over the country and everyone had a great time. I could not recommend more if you are seeking a great, authentic LA property right on a bayou!!!

Twelve of us stayed from Wednesday to Sunday, and it was the perfect house for us. Checking in and out was easy, the house was clean, there were plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows, and the dock was so nice to enjoy the water and breeze. We definitely recommend this house for anyone who wants to spend quality time with family and friends.

Beautiful property, that is clean and well maintained. Great location, conveniently located for exploring the Lafayette area, as well as New Orleans. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Family trip

Every year our families meet somewhere for a long weekend and this place was perfect for the adults and children. Plenty of room and the kids had a blast fishing and kayaking. Perfect spot for a family trip.

Family Time

Secluded Getaway

PERFECT Space

Stayed with a group of my university students for a conference and had a GREAT experience! This is a clean, modern, quiet getaway right on the water. Host was super kind and thoughtful - highly recommend, and will stay here again!

our stay was amazing the house and all the amenities were great we will definitely book this house again. the views are stunning and peaceful. The kid fished off the dock every morning.

Great Accommodations

After living in south Louisiana for 24 years then moving to the cooler mountains of New Mexico, we still like to come back for Mardi Gras each year. We found this gem & hope to come back many times! Very nice accommodations, comfortable beds, a private "loft" for the teenager, and two separate "units"--one for the older folks and one for the younger family. It was great! Beautiful inside and very clean.
