House was very clean and had everything we needed. Host was very responsive and helpful. Location was perfect for spending time at the Cajun Nationals Drag Race.

Beautiful house with old time charm. Well stocked, very clean, beautifully decorated. Loved the paintings. Location is near restaurants and store. And for us most importantly close to Lake Verret. The host Timmy was very responsive to any questions we had and checked in to make sure all was going well. Would definitely stay there again.

The property was clean, charming decorations & had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet & felt safe. The only negatives were: the smell - there was a weird odor throughout the property, I think it may have been mold, it gave me a headache; the proximity to food - delivery was not an option from any food place on Uber Eats & the closest restaurant was 16 miles away; the ants - I left a container of take out on the kitchen counter & was away for a few hours, when we got back there were tons of ants everywhere.

We apologize for the issue with ants. Several people in our area were having issues at that time with ants in their home due to the week of rainy weather. We apologize if there was an odor in the home. As far as we are aware there is no mold in the home but we are checking in to it. We contact every guest when you arrive and check on you during your stay and request that you let us know if there are any problems during your stay and we were not contacted.

Family Vacation

We loved our stay. The house was beautiful and house warming. We loved every bit of it and we kept going out side to see if we could see Alligators in the bayou but no luck it was okay with me though. Great location easy to find! Thank you so much for letting us stay in your lovely home!

The best place

Tim and Jill were so there for us when we needed anything!! We highly recommend this place. We will be back at their place again! Everything was perfect. We had the time of our lives, even through the hurricane!

very relaxing, fishing is great, friendly people, air condition unit stop working on last night of stay, manager came to see the problem it was late offer me and my family a free night stay when we return.

Bayou Heaven

Bucket list trip

We had an awesome stay. Timmy and Jill went out of their way to be helpful with anything we needed. Beautiful people. We would recommend them to anyone that goes to Pierre Part for a stay. Great people. We will be going back.

Peaceful

This house is comfortable, peaceful and well stocked. The owner (Timmy) is friendly, informative, and available if you were to have any questions or concerns. I feel like my family and I made a new friend. I would definitely go back

Family holiday on the Bayou

I recently stayed at TJ's Cajun Land Getaway with my family group of 9, and we had an amazing time! The house is very spacious, comfortable and also filled with all the amenities you'd need. We cooked meals every day with no issues. The car port/patio area outside was perfect for enjoying the beautiful sights and sounds of the Bayou - it’s bird watcher’s paradise!! Timmy truly made the trip memorable with his warm welcome and hospitality. We can't wait to return!!!

We were in town for an event and Timmy's place was the perfect fit for our family, as it accommodated 5 adults comfortably. We loved having our coffee on the patio every morning and watching clusters of water lilies float down the bayou after a storm. The house was very clean and even the outdoor furniture was spotless. The basket of snacks was a thoughtful touch! Timmy was also kind enough to allow us to check out an hour later, which is much appreciated.
