We ABSOLUTELY love this place. Perfect for getting out of the hustle and bustle of work and slow down. We were up every morning to see the AMAZING sunrise. This has become a yearly trip for us.

The overwater accommodations of this place were awesome! And being able to tie our boat to the camp dock was an added bonus. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the dock each morning while watching beautiful sunrises. Allen was very friendly and welcoming. He even cleaned some fish for me and gave some tips on where I should go fishing next. The overall experience was wonderful.

This isn’t a 5 star hotel, but it IS a 5 star stay! We called it the swamp house, it was the most peaceful stay. We watched the fish jump, listened to the water hit the rocks while swinging on the screened in front porch.

Mr Allen and Ms Toni are wonderful hosts! We did some fishing and had an amazing swamp tour. Beautiful scenery and company. We had a tasty fish fry provided by our hosts and feel like we have been lifelong friends ! We will try to visit whenever we come back to visit Louisiana.

We absolutely loved our stay here. Mr. Allen and Toni were some of the best hosts we have encountered. Mr. Allen even cleaned and gave us some fresh fish to cook. We will be planning and booking our trip for next year soon as we get home.

Great time on the lake

Love our time on Lake Verrett at the Marroy Camp. This was our fourth stay and we love it more every time. Allen and Toni are the best!

Quiet and Relaxing

This place is just as quaint and comfy as described. We wanted a quiet place to relax and reset and this was perfect. Will definitely be back and maybe even do a little fishing with Mr Allen.

Very relaxing!

Perfect location over the water. Very friendly host and neighbors. The property has everything you need with plenty of space.

Great stay!

What a wonderful Lake Verret visit to the Camp. Loved the charm and watching the sunrise without having to get out of bed! You must have Allen take you for a boat ride….his knowledge of the area, flora and fauna was excellent. Truly enjoyed his stories, great experience.

Awesome place

Toni and Allen we very friendly and helpful. It happened to be cold while we were there so fishing was not too good. The place and people were fantastic.

Thaxs. for coming to our camp. It was nice meeting yall. Ik you would of liked to catch some fish, the weather was a lil cold! It was still nice to get out and see the birds and go eat some cajun foods. Have a great day.

Fantastic

We had a great time. Loved fishing with Allen and seeing and hearing the wildlife. The crawfish boil was awesome as was the blackberry cobbler. Very relaxing. We definitely will be back. It was awesome!

Relaxing

Toni greeted us as we arrived and walked through with us. We spent the week relaxing on the deck and covered porch. We had a great time and Toni and Allen were wonderful at answering any questions we had.
