Beautiful serene setting at Nickajack Lake that sits minutes from boat docks and Marion County Park. Chattanooga is a short 20 mile drive. Golf, hiking and restaurants are nearby. We are surrounded by 7 wooded acres for peace and quiet, yet close enough to town to enjoy all there is to do in the Chattanooga area. Enjoy quiet evenings on the covered porch, cookout on the spacious deck, or play basketball in the drive. View deer as they stroll in the yard and surrounding property or catch stunning sunsets from the porch. Five private bedrooms with three full baths as well as a loft with a privacy curtain are available for private sleeping spaces. A portable crib, toddler bed and high chair are available. The home is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay including a fully equipped kitchen, Fiber internet, and streaming TV (YouTube TV included). Two desks are available for remote work. There is plenty of parking room for multiple boats, cars or trailers . This neighborhood is quiet and secure with plenty of distance between you and the neighbors. All bedding including blankets is changed and surfaces are disinfected between guests. Hosts live nearby to ensure your needs are met. Dogs are allowed with pet fee. Sorry- no cats. Events are allowed with prior approval. A $200 event fee applies. For your convenience, you will find:

Okay/Fine

This property has a good bit going for it. But overall it’s dated and worn. Amenities like fire pit and large yards and decks are offset by odd floor plan and surprisingly small items—oven, dishwasher, showers—for a large house. The host communicates well and lives nearby. Apparently a new coat of paint is imminent throughout the house, so 2025 rentals will enjoy that, I suppose. Be clear about distance/travel time into Chattanooga—it’s not a quick in/out to downtown attractions. It’s in a nice setting and there are parks and activities fairly close by. All in all it’s okay/fine. We previously found a nicer, more convenient Chattanooga VRBO, so likely won’t come back to this one.

Beautiful home near the Tennessee River

This house was a great basecamp for a weekend of cycling & hiking around Chattanooga. The house is in a great location & the check-in/check-out process was straightforward.

Annual Family vacation

May wedding

The house was perfect for my son’s wedding at Top of the Rock in Kimball. Michelle was so kind in assisting us with the planning of a cookout for the rehearsal dinner. The house was clean & perfect size for my family. Thank you for being such a gracious host. Everything went well with your help.

Thanksgiving gathering

We were very pleased with the house and location. On Thanksgiving we made a traditional dinner and were impressed by how well eqipped the kitchen was. Lots of room in the kitchen for cook and helpers! It was lovely to have a dining room table for the family to dine together too. The bedrooms and bathrooms were well supplied with essentials. Everything was as described by the host. Very comfortable lovely spacious home.

Chattanooga trip

The house was great - it had plenty of bedrooms and was well stocked. It was easy to find and the drive to Chattanooga wasn’t too far. We enjoyed staying and the hosts were very accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Marion County getaway

Our stay at this property was great. We found the house to be exactly as described and well appointed. We had everything we needed inside and out. The property is beautiful, with peaceful surroundings and convenient to Chattanooga. We enjoyed our time there and hope to return.

Family time

Couldn’t of asked for more

We needed a place to stay for a softball tournament in Chattanooga. The location of the house to the fields were all within 30 minutes. The house itself is big and spread out and a lot of property it you want to get outside. The communication with the host Michelle was unbelievably great. She’s incredibly kind and a wonderful host. If we come back to town, we’re definitely going back!

Great parking area for boats and plenty of bedrooms.

This house had everything we were looking for. Extremely close to several ramps on lake Nickajack, great parking for bass boats and plenty of rooms inside. We will stay there again, if the tournament trail hits Nickajack again.

Our weekend in the mountains

The home was very well put together and clean when we arrived. The host has a book as you enter the home that explains the rules and check out process, as well as helpful information about the house and how to use the thermostat for anyone who is less technologically inclined, and there is information about local sight seeing locations and places to eat. The communication with the host was very good and I’d absolutely book with them again

Wonderful

These lovely people could teach a master class in hospitality. The attention to detail in this rental was unlike anywhere we have ever stayed before and we were so impressed. I asked if there was a fire pit and not only did they get one put together for us before we arrived, but they also came by to split wood and set the fire up for us two different days. The kitchen was incredibly well equipped, the beds were comfortable, and each one had a cute basket of towels, etc. on it. Bath bomb and bubble bath in the master, a ‘forgotten items’ basket in the laundry room that was equipped with things like toothbrushes, feminine products, and razors…I can’t say enough about this place. Just fabulous. Spotless, gorgeous location, and excellent communication with the owners. A well deserved five star rating.

Best House EVER!

These homeowners think of everything! There are little touches (cold bottled water in the fridge, complimentary snacks, bubble bath, etc.) that are missing from other rentals, as these homeowners are committed to the comfort and well being of their guests. The house is beautiful, spotless, and spacious! If you get the chance to visit Chattanooga, you should DEFINITELY book this home! The views are incredible!

Great Place

Our family from different states met together to celebrate Christmas. We've done this before year after year at other VRBO's but this house by far suited our needs better than any before. There was plenty of space for everyone to sleep, plenty of bathrooms, and lots of open living space in the dining room, kitchen, living room, and upstair's loft area to hang out together. The kitchen was FULLY stocked with the necessary pots, pans, bowls, etc to serve every meal for our group of 13. The large yard was perfect for throwing frisbees, riding bikes, and dogs to run around. Michelle was an excellent host! She was accommodating, helpful, quick to communicate, and extra thoughtful. The location of the house easily allowed us to enjoy downtown Chattanooga, Lookout Valley, and Cloudland Canyon State Park. So grateful to have found such a great house to host our family Christmas!

Pure Bliss

Booked this house for my mother-in-laws birthday getaway. From checking in to checking out was so smooth. We had zero complaints other than the fact my daughter didn't want to leave. This house is very very spacious and has something for everyone at any age group to do. We all found the signs in the bathrooms hilarious and I dont think any flushed their hopes and dreams. If you plan on visiting in the summer and the pool isn't fixed yet dont worry you can relax in the bathtub which is even better than any pool. Thank you for having us.

Literally no complaints!

Michelle is beyond an awesome host! Home was very clean and fit our large group of 13 people, ranging in age from 6 to 92, exceptionally well. Plenty of room for the kids to play on property and more than sufficient deck space for a large family Thanksgiving meal outside. Communication with Michelle was clear and timely, and house "rules" were incredibly user-friendly and straightforward. We could not have been any more pleased with our experience!

Family Wedding

We were so delighted that our family could spend time together as we prepared for my granddaughter's wedding in the area. We were able to host a family dinner plus individual member of the family could come and go as events happened that involved them. It gave us privacy to be together and enjoy each other's company. Our host could not have been more accommodating to meet our needs. Michelle and her husband went out of their way to help in any way they could. Our whole family would recommend any VRBO that they own. Thanks for a wonderful experience!

Best experience

This was probably the best place we have ever stayed. The owner was very accommodating when it came to our pets and was very friendly from the start to finish. The house was beautiful, very clean and had all the essentials. There was deer in the yard almost every day and it was just a very peaceful setting. 10 out of 10 recommend!
