"SALTY CABANA" - 1 block to the beach!

NO FEES! (new 2025!) This CLEAN and comfortable duplex has 1 bedroom & 1 bath with ample separate parking for 2 vehicles. This space is suited for 2 people, but it could accommodate a 3rd person or a child on the futon. Linens provided at no charge. There is a large backyard with a picnic table, umbrella, and charcoal grill for your use. The other side of the duplex shares this backyard space.

We have an assortment of beach essentials that varies, and you are welcome to use the items. The beach is only a short 1 block walk away!

This is a simple, clean vacation rental that has everything you need for a relaxing vacation very close to the beach. SALTY CABANA is the right side of a 1 level beach style duplex. There is plenty of private free parking for 2 vehicles right in front of the house.

Step outside to a large, shared backyard—a great spot to relax, though it’s not fenced in. (No neighbors behind the house, just an empty lot.) Take a short 5-block stroll to the Kure Beach Pier, local restaurants, and shops.

Inside is an open area floorplan with the living room and kitchen for hanging out. There is a small area to sit and eat.

The full bathroom has a large and clean tiled shower, and towels are provided.

The bedroom features a comfortable & clean Queen bed with a TV and dresser.

If you have an extra guest or child, the futon in the living room folds flat to make a sleeping area. Please note this is a pleather futon and is very firm. We have sheets for this sleeping area as well.

Enjoy a fully equipped kitchen with all the essentials to cook a delicious meal. After a day in the sun, rinse off in the private outdoor hot shower or unwind in the spacious indoor shower.

Best of all, your furry friends are welcome with no extra fees! Please crate your dog when you are not inside.

Lovely getaway

This adorable duplex is perfect for a beach getaway. The beach and several restaurants are just a short walk away. Terra was very helpful and responsive whenever we had a question. We would definitely stay here again

Short notice getaway

We needed a last minute getaway and the Salty Cabana fit our need during the week. The location was perfect close to the pier and we loved that it was pet friendly. The welcome bag was a wonderful gift, as well. Would stay here again.

Amazing location!

Such a cozy place in an amazing location! Easy 2 minute walk to the beach. The host was so friendly and responsive. They even gave us some great suggestions of things to do in town.

Salty Cabana

Perfect location 3-4 minute walk to beach. Close to pier and restaurants but nice and quiet. Dog friendly was a plus. Hosts were responsive and provided a short video before we arrived.

Cozy Beach Cottage

We loved our stay and we’re blown away by the friendliness and hospitality of Terra! She was so accommodating to help our trip go well! The cottage is clean and well-stocked, including beach items! Would definitely recommend and look forward to a return some day!

Great spot

Location is so close to everything. Pier, arcade, icecream, good eats ALL on walking distance. Terra was a great host! Overall 10 out of 10! Looking forward to renting this spot again soon!

Cute apartment with easy access & parking. Full kitchen. Nice, artful use of space in the bathroom, looks newly updated. Comfy bed. Nice neighborhood for walking. Short jaunt to the beach. Local seafood shop & restaurants. Short drive to Carolina Beach State Park & Good Hops Brewery - two of our favorite places to visit when we are in the area. Nice weekend getaway. No big issues. Wished an outdoor grill had been available to grill our fresh NC fish, minor detail.

Cute home, great location!

This location alone really makes it worth the stay. Located on the south end of Kure Beach its a little quieter. Only took about three minutes to walk to the beach, a few minutes more to restaurants near by. The place was a quiet, cute little one bedroom. Everything you need for your stay! Would definitely come back and stay here again. Outdoor shower is a big plus!

Amazing Hosts

To start, the hosts are extremely kind! The are very very accommodating and just all around excellent. The home is extremely clean. It was a true pleasure to stay at the Salty Cabana. Definitely consider this property. We were able to sleep a family of four with no problems.

Great stay

Overall great experience. My only complaint is the house smelled like cigarettes, but you got used to it. The bed was comfy and the outdoor shower was lovely. Had everything you needed and close to restaurants and bars.

Cute Place, a Little Warm

The property manager is fantastic! She was very helpful and there for anything we needed. The house was cute and VERY clean. The bad news? There's only AC in the bedroom. Not so bad in May, but not so fun in August!

Perfect little getaway!!

We had the best stay at the salty cabana!! It was perfect for me, my husband, and our pup! It was in a great location. We were within walking distance of multiple restaurants, super close to everything in Carolina Beach, plus a super short walk to the beach access! Already can’t wait to be back!

Salty Cabana

We normally come to kure beach during the summer and always love the area. This place was perfect for me, my wife and pups. 3-4 min walk to the beach and maybe 7 mins to the pier. Prime location! While the weather wasn’t great this time around we made the best of it, place was close to restaurants and a bar and Carolina beach area. Place was super clean, bed comfy and ac kept the house cool. Owners were quick to reply and made us feel very welcomed. Highly recommend!!

Easy, breezy, beautiful little home

The location is first and foremost the selling point. Near the 3rd street restaurants, down the block from the beach, and a short drive from the trouristy area of Carolina Beach. Terra is quick to answer any questions and the house is well maintained. We had guests in the adjacent location ("Sweet") and we wouldn't have even known. Has what you need for a short stay at the beach.
