Sophisticated Charmer with Parking & Views of the USNA Chapel Dome

Hello and Welcome to Annapolis! You are going to love this home.

IMPORTANT: if you are inquiring about USNA Commissioning week please send us a message request. USNA Commissioning current base rates are $12,000 for a 7-night minimum stay.

We purchased this home January 2010 and lived here for 6 happy years with our 3 boys. We are fully licensed as a short term rental home by the City of Annapolis. Located in the heart of the Historic District, and steps away from the US Naval Academy and the Maryland State Capital, our home was built in 1890, and renovated in the 1920s, 1990s, and again in 2010!

The Navy Marine Corps football stadium is 1 mile away, and a pleasant walk on a nice day (and much faster than driving through the game day traffic!). Popular wedding destinations (William Paca House, Annapolis Yacht Club) are a short stroll from the front door, and an easy walk to Main Street and the City Dock with all its restaurants, shops, and tour boats make this the perfect in-town location.

We've decorated and furnished the home with a nod to the historic character of the architecture. There are built-ins, hidden compartments, detailed moldings, a double staircase, a sun porch looking onto King George Street and a fully stocked "Cook's kitchen." The formal dining room is adjacent to the kitchen and features an antique dining table from the 1920's. Though not entirely "historic" the house does also include wireless internet, basic cable, a DVD player, and a large flat screen TV.

Upstairs, the Master suite was designed with a more modern feel and features a large bathroom (which was featured in Annapolis Home Magazine) and second floor sun porch overlooking the back yard with views towards State Circle. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and the third bedroom has a pair of twin beds with a view of the Navy Chapel dome! There is also another another recently renovated full bathroom on the 2nd floor.

We have 2 off-street parking spots and a beautifully landscaped backyard with a patio and grill, shady trees and plenty of room for a backyard get together. An additional 2 parking spaces may be reserved by request (seasonal fees may apply).

Mature groups only. This is not a party house. Ideal for families, Navy parents, history buffs, and parents of the bride or groom. We look forward to speaking with you!

Had a great stay! The photos don’t do this house justice, it was even more beautiful in person! And so spacious! The home was clean, stocked with everything you may need, very close to downtown, and the host was quick to answer any questions. Highly recommend!

This beautiful, comfortable home was perfect for our family gathering. Lovely short walk to US Naval Academy and St. John’s College. Great kitchen, on site parking (a real blessing) and nice private backyard. Granddaughter greatly appreciated availability of classic toys. We absolutely loved our stay in Annapolis! What a perfect home and location. Walking distance to everything and just a stone's throw to the Naval Academy. Beautifully appointed, room for our family of four, a gorgeous area to relax outside - the whole experience was wonderful. I would definitely prioritize staying here again. Perfect house for our first trip to Annapolis! House is beautiful from the front porch to the wonderful spacious backyard! When we weren't out and about in town, we were either in the backyard or on the front porch! The bedrooms were perfect for our crew and even our teenagers commented how comfortable the beds were! The house is perfect location to main street and to walk everywhere! Having parking at the house was a great bonus!!! Definitely will be back!

FANTATSIC! This was the fourth time we stayed at this home. It's location and proximity to the downtown area restaurants and to the yacht club make it an ideal place for us while we are sailboat racing in Annapolis. The parking on site is a huge asset as well. I love hearing the Naval Academy clock tower chiming....so rich in history! We will be back next year!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean and well maintained, easy to get to, and a terrific location with easy walking distance to a ton of shops. Host was great. We'd definitely stay here again.

This property was delightful and just right for our needs (my son's naval 20-year retirement ceremony). It's very close to downtown (10 min walk) and the Naval Academy (5 min walk). Parking was a real plus. We especially loved sitting in the front sunporch with an afternoon glass of wine and the back patio area as a gathering place for a few other family who came over one evening. I only marked it down because the house is old (one bedroom doorknob kept falling off) and the refrigerator broke while we were there - though the owners were right on it and got a repairman right away. I also left something there and the owner said she'd mail it to me. Very nice to work with.

Having stayed in many VRBO homes throughout the years this is by far one of the most well appointed. This home is exceptionally clean, beautifully decorated, warm and welcoming. This was one of the best VRBO homes we have ever stayed in!! The home itself was so cute and charming with so much character! I travel with a lot of staples b/c you never know what we may need but they had absolutely everything!! We stayed there for our son and new DILs wedding and it was so perfect, they took their “first look” pics in the backyard! There were several quiet spaces to “get away’ w/in the house. Kitchen was fully equipped, everything was so clean, beds were comfy, master suite was amazing and very spacious, parking was very convenient (2 spaces in driveway) but we had no probs finding street parking. Convenient walk to everything! Kristjana (owner) was very responsive to any and all questions. Laundry was available, though we did not use. Would highly recommend this lovely home!

Loved the location and parking. We were in town to work the sail show. It was very convenient to walk back and forth during the day. We loved having a place to stay. The beds were comfortable. Only gave four stars because the living furniture was not very comfortable to sit on and some of the kitchen equipment was very well used or missing. We plan on coming back again next year for the shows.

Great walking access to Naval Academy, downtown shops and restaurants. Great bedroom configuration, even provided a Pack-n-Play portable crib and high chair for our grandson. Well appointed kitchen if you want to cook. Very responsive owners.

We lived in this house from 2010 to 2015 with 3 small boys and had a blast! As the boys got bigger, we knew it was time to give up being Townies and settle in the 'burbs. But this house is still a huge part of our hearts! When it's not booked, we are often found hanging out in the sunroom, working on our laptops and enjoying people watching and listening to the Chapel bells. Annapolis is also well-known as a "runners town" and still serves as our home-base for the Annapolis 10 miler, Annapolis Half Marathon and the Zooma 10k!

One of the very few private homes in Annapolis with off-street parking!! There is complimentary parking for up to 2 cars, and we own an additional 2 spaces that we will consider including on certain dates. Private and quiet back yard with dining furniture, gas grill and plenty of space to relax or host a small gathering. Located close enough to both USNA and St Johns College to hear the bells from both of their bell towers!

Did we mention the parking?? If you are coming in during a holiday week, Navy football weekend or Boat Show, parking is in exceedingly high demand. Having the stress-free option of parking off the street right at the front door is something you will be so glad you have!
