Great relaxing stay

Very well marked and easy to locate even arriving after dark. Simple check in and check out. Clean and very welcoming. Very enjoyable weekend getaway to escape the go go go of everyday life!

Amazing Place!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! What a beautiful retreat to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet with the family. Wonderful views, gorgeous tiny cottage, super clean, and so many sweet calves roaming the field. Shelley, our Host was incredibly responsive and took care of everything to the tiniest of details. Oakley’s warm and gooey cinnamon rolls, that he personally hand delivered to our front door was the cherry on top! Loved everything about this place and hope to stay again in the future!

Shelley was quick to respond upon booking and helped us all along the way to make our stay as delightful as possible even after we had a personal emergency pop up on our side! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

Fabulous Gem!

This of all the places I have ever stayed was my absolute favorite! Every detail was perfect, personable, and classy vintage. It had all the nostalgia I wanted to give my kiddos, and the host was so hospitable. The stay was so wonderful! I hope to go back and just sit in this cute little cottage - I came from a long ways away and I would do it again in a heart beat to stay here, the only thing I would change is more time just sitting and enjoying my time there (I had planned a lot of activities!) It was so perfect!

So Perfect

It not very often i meet someone that has a similar mindset to mine. This host thought of everything. I loved the fact that they had padding to use for the pullout bed. We all know sofa beds are not the most comfortable and they took this into consideration. Extra blankets and pillows- awesome. The whole set up this family is running is really amazing. The area and views are just perfect fornthat get away. Thank you so much for making available your property. God Bless

The tiny house was amazing. So clean and cozy. The owners are awesome--very prompt in answering any questions we had. We will definitely stay there again if we go back to the Ark. Thanks again for such a great stay!

Great Hospitality

Very hospitable folks run this sweet little home away from home. Well equipped with everything you need and some extras thrown in. We enjoyed the view with a nice little bonfire every night, the bed was very comfortable and the home is immaculate. We hope to stay here again. Kim

Wonderful, private home! Great location for our visit to the Ark and Creation Museum. Host is very hospitable. We enjoyed the peacefulness and were able to catch some fireworks over the ridge. Everything is very clean and comfortable. Would HIGHLY recommend is site & we would love to stay again.

Wonderful stay

This was a beautiful , charming place to stay. It was extremely clean, and had everything and more. They supplied us with popcorn, water, ice cream, which made our kids happy. It was very inviting and relaxing. The outdoor seating area was beautiful with perfecr view of the hills. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone traveling that way. Fantastic home and fantastic hosts

40th anniversary

We loved our stay. A beautiful homestead & wonderful views. The tiny house was better than we imagined it could be. Thoughtfulness of the hosts was above & beyond too. If you want to visit the Ark or Creation museum, this is a great place to stay - you won’t be disappointed.

Peace and quiet

If you like to hear crickets and birds but no road noise, you will love this place. The house is awesome, everything looks brand new, nicely decorated, very clean. The rocking chairs on the porch makes me think that Andy and Opie may be coming by. But the best part was the landscape and how peaceful it is.

Shelley and her husband Matt have dreamed for years of owning their own rental property. It’s amazing to see it finally come to life here on our beautiful farm in Northern Kentucky. Our house name, Swiss Hills Cottage, honors the heritage of this land, home to Brown Swiss dairy cows since 1994. Matt’s parents still have a raw milk dairy operation on the farm to this day. In the fall, we also host the popular Country Pumpkins Fall Festival complete with u-pick pumpkins, hayrides, corn maze, petting zoo, and more.
