Welcome to Alpine Hills Swiss Haven. If you love the outdoors, bring your family for a relaxing stay in our country home. We are located on a 250 acre dairy and pumpkin farm. The house is surrounded by beautiful farmland, overlooking a valley with roaming beef and dairy cows. Sit on our swing or at our fire pit and watch the amazing sunset. We are only 18 minutes from the Ark and 40 minutes from the Creation Museum.
We provide free tickets for our guests to Pumpkin Ridge during our Country Pumpkins Fall Festival. September 7th thru October 31st.

Sleeping Arrangements Include:
- Main Floor Bedroom with Queen Bed
- 2 Full Beds in the Loft
- 1 Couch that folds down into a bed (futon) on the Main Floor

Enjoy our new fire pit which is shared with another vacation rental on our property. Please bring your own wood and fire starting supplies.

Children are welcome; however, please be aware that the staircase to the loft is very steep. The loft includes two full beds.

Our farm is home to two family-owned businesses -- Alpine Hills Swiss Farm and Country Pumpkins Fall Festival. Alpine Hills Swiss Farm has been in operation since 1947. Milk was sold commercially for many years, but is currently a small herd-share operation selling milk directly to herd share members.

Country Pumpkins is our annual fall festival that begins September and extends through the end of October with pumpkins, hayrides, corn mazes, and all the good, clean family fun you can imagine! We are offering free passes to Pumpkin Ridge for the families staying with us during these dates.

Things to do in Northern Kentucky: The Ark Encounter, Creation Museum, Kentucky Horse Park, Turfway Park (horse racing), horse farm tours, Big Bone Lick State Park, Williamstown Lake, Boltz Lake, shopping, and dining. We are just 45 minutes from Cincinnati, OH where you can enjoy Reds games, Bengals games, Cincinnati Cyclones Hockey, the Cincinnati Zoo, the Newport Aquarium, Coney Island, Riverbend Music Center, Cincinnati Museum Center, shopping, and dining experiences.

Being old farm kids we loved driving back to this property. So glad we were given better instructions as our GPS would not have taken us there. Great hide-a-way.

Relaxing Family Spot!

Plenty of room for our teens and us to hang out and cook after a busy day. Quiet, peaceful, and relaxing. Our second time to stay there and definitely will again!

Perfect Getaway

We loved our stay in the tiny home! Everything was comfortable and clean. We especially enjoyed the scenery and the swing outside. It was very peaceful and queit. The animals and farm are beautiful to see on the drive in. An excellent place to stay and relax! We loved our stay there. I have already recommended to family and friends who will be going to the area next year.

Great Place to Unwind

What a beautiful place to unwind and relax. Such awesome hosts and a beautiful view off the porch. Close proximity to a lot of attractions. Seems so far away from anything, but yet close to restaurants and conveniences if you need them.

Very nice place, with a nice view!

The cabin was spotless. The snacks were very nice touch and thoughtful. Not too far from the Ark encounter. Plenty of room for 4-6 adults with the 2 beds in the loft. Would highly recommend! Also pretty awesome it’s on a pumpkin patch that’s open during the fall.

Tiny House in the Country

My husband and I took 3 of our granddaughters to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum. We stayed at this cute cottage out in the country. Each morning before we left for the Ark/Museum we spent time enjoying the beautiful property. Each evening when we returned we once again enjoyed the beautiful outdoors. It was so peaceful and the sunsets were gorgeous. I look forward to renting this tiny house next time when we bring our grandsons to the Ark/Museum. The cottage was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated.

Quaint and Clean Place to Stay

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Alpine Swiss Haven house. Every amenity we needed was provided and the house was very clean. The setting was serene and picturesque. Highly recommended!

A slice of heaven!

In our too-short overnight stay, we were very impressed by every aspect of our experience. The cottage is clean and cozy, and the location is beautiful! It’s an easy drive off the interstate, so perfect for a place to stay a night or have a longer getaway.

Peace & Quiet in the Country

We came with our kids (10 & 15) while visiting the Ark and Creation Museum. From the moment we drove up, after a long day on the road, we were amazed. Very clean place, gorgeous views, responsive owners. Everything you could want in a rental they had. We loved waking up hearing/ watching, and smelling the cows while having our morning coffee. Our 10 year old son enjoyed catching lightning bugs at night, and our 15 year old daughter liked her own loft area/ bed to herself, as opposed to hotels where she might have to share a bed with her little brother. My accident prone husband was tickled that they wrapped one of the legs of the bed so you wouldn’t bump your toe! Our last night the area was under a tornado watch, and we contacted the owner on where we should go if a warning was issued and she invited us to her basement. Luckily the weather was fine, just regular thunderstorms, but I am very appreciative of the thoughtfulness the hosts show their guests. A truly amazing place. Only things I would maybe change (and these are all very minor) would be maybe a stool in the shower to prop my leg up to shave, and a small table on the front porch to set a drink on. A fabulous place though. If you want gorgeous views, peace and quiet, and an excellent host, you’ll find it all here. We will definitely stay again if in the area, and will recommend to friends.

Escape from your busy life

This is a beautiful place to escape the needs of the world! The hills, clouds, sky, sunset, and cows are so beautiful and relaxing to get lost in! It was a great place to cook homemade meals at and enjoy the presence of family! Ohhhhh, and the beds are sooo comfortable!

Perfect Family Weekend Retreat

I can't say enough wonderful things about our stay here. The cabin was very clean, perfectly stocked and the views were amazing. The only suggestion I have is to add a small table to the front porch to put coffee, etc. You will absolutely love your stay here and we hope to be back.
