RiverHouse North, by Forest & Peak Retreats, features a river in the backyard next to the private hot tub and massive gas fire pit for all of your party. What more could you need?! If you love watching local wildlife cross over a creek on a luxurious back patio that’s perfect for all seasons, then you should book here. Enjoy the full amenities of a kitchen stocked with a curator’s touch, heated towel rack, remote control gas fireplace, gas grill, 2023 top-to-bottom remodel. Book RiverHouse North before someone beats you to it!

Please read entirely so you have a good idea of what you are booking, as we will stick to our cancellation policy.

Please note that Riverhouse North is 1 of 2 twin luxury suites. Riverhouse North shares a meticulously soundproofed wall with Riverhouse South (Please inquire about renting both units if you would like) Outside there are privacy fences and separate parking areas, so you can have as much solitude as possible! All of the amenities and spaces featured at Riverhouse North are privately accessible for only you and your crew! Through big mountain trees and on the other side of the river, Highway 24 is located behind the Riverhouse and you will hear some traffic noise.

If you are interested in an early check in or late checkout, please inquire on the day of your booking. We would need to hire an additional cleaner for $135.

Colorado Springs is 15 minutes East, and Woodland Park is less than 15 minutes west. The list of nearby activities is endless. Pike's Peak Highway and The North Pole are four minutes away.

We have a security camera facing both the front and back doors to monitor traffic. Both are outside and will be on during your stay.

Notes to take into account:
--October-May we can have snow storms. Please be aware you may need 4-wheel drive. Check the weather for Cascade-Chipita Park as it can be very different from Colorado Springs.
--We are also in a forest fire area, so fire bans may occasionally happen. The timing of this is out of our control. This may mean not being able to use certain fire features or our grill. We will try to let you know during your stay if there is high fire danger and what cannot be used.
--Riverhouse North doesn't have A/C, but at this elevation you rarely need it! It stays much cooler at 7,800 ft and open windows at night keeps it comfortable

Jonathan was a great host! The house was so cozy and clean with a nice fireplace by the tv. The hot tub was a great way to relax and allowed us to see deer walking by in the backyard. The location was also great being so close to the attractions. My husband and I will definitely come back again.

We absolutely loved the cozy cabin in the mountains! The property was so clean, comfortable, beautifully maintained, and in an amazing location. From the moment we arrived, it felt relaxing, welcoming and so warm.We especially loved the peaceful atmosphere, the beautiful views, and how well-stocked and cozy everything felt. It truly felt like a home away from home.Our family made so many wonderful memories here, and we were genuinely sad to leave. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway!

Very nicely remodeled and decorated. Cozy. Felt more private than it actually was. The highway is close enough to hear, but there are no neighbors to the back. Can see the benefit to renting both sides for a reunion or party. Not much for a neighborhood in terms of close things to do, but lots of things a short drive away. Great pizza place nearby. We just rested the whole time and it was perfect. Wish I could have stayed longer. Didn’t use the outdoors like I’d intended, but what a nice setting. Overall a bit expensive for our needs since we didn’t use the fire pit or hot tub but it was a nice stay.

Beautiful

This place is absolutely beautiful with everything you need for a relaxing stay. All the amenities were top notch, the beds were sooooo comfortable. Location was perfect for visiting Pikes Peak and Manitou Springs.

We had a very relaxing weekend in Cascade! The house looked exactly like the listing photos, the backyard was wonderful. It was close to the highway, but you really didn't notice even when outside and the windows were very well sound-proofed. The hosts were very communicative and helpful!

Great place!

I wish we could’ve stayed longer! I loved the backyard and the house was so perfect for a relaxing night away. Very close to fun attractions and the process was super easy and the communication with the property manager was amazing. The bed was super comfortable too! Everything was perfect!

We enjoyed every part of the home. Comfortable beds, nice shower, cozy living room and spacious kitchen. The hot tub and patio area was our favorite. Listening to the creek was peaceful. The home had everything we needed. Easy communication with the host. Everything was clean. We will definitely come back to enjoy the fire pit. Close to a variety of activities.

Great weekend

We had a great weekend. The cabin was recently remodeled and was outstanding. The view was spectacular. My wife and I really enjoyed sitting in the hot tub and checking out the stars.

Amazing

Beautiful property and perfect location. The creek running behind and house was so peaceful and yet so close to The Garden of the Gods, manitou Springs, Pikes Peak and the Wolf reserve. We are already ready to ho back.

We loved our stay at riverhouse north! We felt spoiled while we were there with the sweet little stream out back, comfy hammock, hot tub and firepit and fireplace! We were looking for somewhere to relax, unwind, and connect as a family. This place provided that for us. It was so cozy and comfortable. Very clean. We loved that we could see our kids outside at all times from the kitchen window while they played in the stream and in the backyard. They have maximized every single space inside and outside of the house. We loved that there was laundry onsite as well. With two kids playing outside most of the day, you need it. we look forward to booking with them again in the future!

It was amazing! We were only able to get away for one night and wanted to be close to home. It was beautiful and we sat outside and talked and laughed until way to late but it was the best night thank you

Loved It!!!!Can’t wait to stay again, it is a perfect sweet spot! Loved the entire set up. Comfy bed, cool and peaceful decor, absolutely and everything you need. The firepit and hot tub were so relaxing with the brook nearby!If I could give 10 stars I would!
