We were in town visiting friends nearby. Having a well appointed kitchen and beautiful yard, along with a grill and plenty of seating for everyone after our rafting and other adventures was wonderful. We slept really well and it was definitely a home away from home!

The house was perfect for our family. The location is convenient to multiple food & beverage options, hiking, and historic sites. The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the firepit, large yard and porch.

The Parsonage was family-friendly and spacious for our family of 8. Hindell was friendly, accommodating, responsive, great host. The backyard was a large size for activities, as well as the living and dining room. The kitchen was fully stocked. The washer dryer was a great addition. The rooms were spacious, beds are comfortable. Our family looks forward to staying here again, especially so close to the whitewater rafting location.

So cozy & comfortable! We were three minutes away from Berkshire East mountain. It was such a lovely place to gather for a winter weekend getaway. Now, we want to come back in the summer!

We had a great stay at the Parsonage. The house was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had an issue with the dryer but the handyman came within a few hours and fixed it. Communication was great and overall a great place to stay. We will certainly consider staying here again next time we visit the area.

This rental is amazing in every way! Beautiful, old restored home on a spacious piece of property which is located in a quiet town. The kitchen is very well supplied with everything you need to cook a meal. Four spacious bedrooms, 3 upstairs and 1 downstairs and beds are very comfortable. Two large bathrooms, and great spaces indoors and outdoors to gather and just spend time together. My mom, two sisters and I spent three wonderful nights at this house in October(2026) and the area was in prime Fall beauty. The Charlemont Federated Church is next door to this house. When you stand at the kitchen sink you gaze at the stain glass windows so we wandered over Sunday morning. The parishioners were so welcoming. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this rental and hope to come back some time in the Summer to take better advantage of the beautiful outdoor space and all that season might have to offer in this lovely area of MA.

The house was charming with everything we needed. It is 5 minutes away from the mountain. Hindell was a great host. would definitely recommend if heading to berkshire mountain!

Very thoughtful host. Everything was clearly laid out, and the host shares access to extra resources like laundry and fine dinnerware. The property itself and broader town have interesting history that guests can read about onsite. Lastly, the home is cozy, well equipped, and in a good location for skiing in a nice town. It's great for families or just for groups looking to visit the area, with nice space to rest and gather.

Winter is a great time to stay at the Parsonage. With Berkshire East Ski Resort only 5 minutes away and plenty of snowmobile trails we hope you enjoyed the area during your stay.

Our host was excellent and accommodating! The property was adorable and the vibe was great. We really enjoyed our stay! If you are ever in the area for a wedding this is the perfect cozy house to stay at! So spacious and located 4 minutes from the venue. Stay here, you will not be disappointed!

A great place to stay in the Berkshires

Nicely renovated, clean, ample space and light with all the comfort of modern living while keeping historical charm. Local attractions, eateries all within easy walking distance. Hindell was a great host, communicating well. We look forward to staying here again when the opportunity presents itself!

mountain bike trip

had a great time at the parsonage and in the berkshiresvisited for a mtb race and this was by far the best stay in the charlemont area so far (been here s few times) great place, so happy to be able to walk to the local stores and then relax in the yard and on the porchwill be back for sure

Beautiful Home!

We came for a wedding in the area. Perfect for a large group! The house is bright and cheerful. Lots of great hiking trails close by. We would stay here again if we come back to the Charlemont area.

This may be the nicest home my family has stayed in during a ski vacation! The home was warm and cozy and had every little item one could ever need. The place was ultra clean when we checked in, and even smelled inviting. The place was also beautifully decorated and felt like a real home, rather than a rental unit. The bedding was excellent, and all the appliances worked great. Finally, the host was attentive, communicative, and handled our small requests quickly. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful stay at The Parsonage

The Parsonage is very beautiful and in a pretty location very close to Berkshires East. My kids loved the spacious house! All the bedrooms were lovely and the bathrooms were very modern. The owner was very easy to communicate with and went above and a beyond to accommodate us. We would definitely stay again!Parsonage.

Charlemont get together

Our group met at this charming, comfortable home for a family reunion. Charlemont is a quintessential New England town that offers gorgeous views and plenty of outdoor activities. We grew up close by, and skied Berkshire East, so it was fun to revisit the area. The host was happy to share her local knowledge and more than accommodating. We'd highly recommend staying at The Parsonage.
