Whether you’re planning a weekend fishing trip, a family getaway, or a quiet nature retreat, this spot is the perfect base. Enjoy your morning coffee in the gazebo, launch a kayak for a peaceful paddle, or cruise just a minute down the water to Big Cypress Bayou and 5 minutes to Big Pines Lodge. If you’re bringing a boat, you can launch at the public ramp at the Hwy 43 bridge and dock it at your own private covered slip right at the house. Plenty of space for multiple guests, vehicles and boats/trailers.

Caddo lake photography

We love this house very much. It is big, updated, and clean. The house is very close to the Caddo lake state park. It was very conveniently to access caddy lake state park with 3 kayaks in the early morning for photography.

Spacious, comfortable and fully equipped

We, a group of photographers, are so happy with this property with three nights stay in this place. The owner is so friendly and helpful. She always answered our questions very quickly. Definitely recommended! I hope we will return sometime in the future.

We liked it so much last year that we came back

We were fishing Caddo Lake. Outside has room to park the boat and convenient power for charging the batteries. Inside is roomy, clean and modern.

Sisters weekend

Great place to stay. Overall excellent. The only problem we ran into was a broken recliner in one end of the sofa and the TV didnt let us tune in the LSU/ARKANSAS game.

Excellent Getaway

LOVED this home! Very spacious, clean, and stocked with essentials. Kids were excited to see a gator out back. If you're particular about your coffee, like I am, go to Brookshire's in Jefferson or bring your favorites with you. We drove in for a family event and had enough space to have them over in the evenings. Google maps does not recognize the street that this home is on so make sure you read the street signs before you pass it.

Perfect Place For Caddo

We had a great time at this cabin. There is a waterway to use the kayaks (all suppled) that you can peacefully row without worrying about getting hit by a boat. So beautiful to go through the cypress trees! The house was clean and comfortable. We have been to Caddo before, but this is by far the best place yet. We will be back.

Great holiday weekend

Our family had a great time and really enjoyed the water access and kayaks! Jefferson is a cute town nearby, and we had fun shopping there, as well.

Rodeo Weekend

We were in Karnack for our daughter’s rodeo and LOVED this adorable camp located on the water. This property offered so many things to do… Fish, Kayak, board games, WII, fire pit to make s’mores and cute picnic table to enjoy outside dining. The inside is Newley remodeled and was perfect for us. Spacious and super clean. We will definitely stay here next year if it’s available. Perfect for a family or a group of adults that just want to get away for a fun and relaxing weekend.

Family getaway

The property is amazing. I rented it because it is a waterfront property with privacy. We were able to build a fire each night. The owner had plenty of amenities: kayaks, fishing poles, stuff for s'mores (which the grandkids loved), and coffee. The furniture and beds were so comfortable, and the house was super clean. The kitchen was well-stocked and a great place to cook. The area was quiet and centrally located to everything we wanted to do. The property owner was quick to answer questions and has thought of everything for the home. We would definitely rent it again!

Coffee but no tea

Plenty of coffee but no tea bags. Local stores had none. Half of our party did not drink coffee. Had to buy a muffin pan because no baking dishes. No instructions for TV, could not find local/regular service. Had to use personal account for any other service. Who remembers those passwords? Same situation for the fireplace? no instructions. Needs grab bars in master shower. Needs a handrail on front steps. Needs comfortable chairs.

Great place

The owner always responded to all my questions and was very helpful. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. It rained the whole time so we didn't get to use the fishing gear or kayaks. Would recommend it.

Great place; Super hostess; Love the Kayaks

The place was awesome and Brandy was the best. Check-in was easy. The place was bright and clean. Brandy thought of everything - there was coffee, candy, snacks, soap, shampoo, extra propane (just in case) , etc... We are accustomed to running out of TP or paper towels and having to make a Walmart run but she had everything covered and extras in the pantry. Brandy was super helpful throughout- from dining tips to stashes of extra linens for some drop-in guests... There were bikes and fishing poles and games and tackle - everything to make you feel like it was home away from home... Great get-away that we will probably want to do again soon! It was especially nice to be able to drag out the kayaks and just paddle around for a few minutes or a couple of hours - - so convenient and a space for everyone...

Modern Clean

Lovely modern home right on the creek. We kayaked everyday, morning and at night. The home is all new and had everything we needed. The tv streaming is spotty; so not the place to be if you need that downtime. I would recommend this listing to any family; they offer so many additional items like outdoor games, toys, row boat, kayaks, large tree swing, s’mores, fishing poles. fire pit. Loved Caddo Lake & Jefferson. I gave 4 stars for location only bc I am an avid runner and was unable to run due to unfenced unleashed dogs on multiple streets. This property is gated and we never had a problem with a dog on the property it’s just not an ideal location if you like to walk or run as we do. Enjoyed our vacation here!

Perfect for our Family Fishing Trip

Very clean and updated property. The yard was a bit of a tight squeeze to maneuver our bassboat and truck, but workable. Convenient to the boat launches, and an easy drive to restaurants. Would definitely stay here again.

We loved it!

Super clean and there were way more amenities than listed. We loved the small things like the throw blankets available, extra snacks they left for us, fishing poles set up by the water, etc. My favorite part was the kayaks that are on the property and being able to take off in the water from the backyard. We will definitely book this location again next year. Kuddos to the caretakers of this rental!
