Must be 25 years or older to rent this property. The guest on the reservation must be present at check-in with photo ID which matches address and credit card used. The booking guest must be present during the complete stay.

A rental agreement will need signed upon booking and a Refundable Damage Deposit of $500 will be charged to your credit card 3 days prior to arrival. This deposit will be fully refunded within 3 days after checkout, provided there are no damages or policy violations.

We are 1/2 mile to Lakeview park with a swimming beach & fishing available. Downtown offers Friday night concerts in the pavilion during the summer.

LOVED THE LAKE VIEW FROM THE DECK

The house was amazing, with everything we needed. Quick responses from the host. The Lake Erie sunsets were breathtaking every evening! Both from the deck close to the house, as well as the one by the water. Would definitely stay here again!

The positive: the view from this house is spectacular! We enjoyed a fantastic sunset and watching all the water birds. The kitchen and primary bathroom had been more recently renovated and were very nice. The beds were comfortable and seemed pretty new and there were a lot of sleeping spaces. The cons: we got in late and found the house was missing some things in the primary bath that I would think would be available right away - there was no hand soap (a found a bottle of dish soap under the sink). There was only a hand towel in the primary bathroom. The hall bath had 6 towels in the closet, which I thought was definitely not enough for the number of people staying. The next day I did find more towels down in the laundry room cupboard. Another con was the TV precariously perched on a stand up in the loft when you first come up the stairs. I would think that kids' primarily sleep up there and could easily knock it over.The biggest con was the grime and trash in some places. The primary bath had no liner and there was some trash in there when I opened up the can. Several of the dresser drawers had trash from old clothing tags. The grossest was the carpet upstairs. It's old and I had to wear shoes because I kept stepping on crumbs on the carpet. Another con was that they require you to clean the microwave, stove, and fridge before leaving. That was definitely more than any other VRBO I've ever experienced. I would stay again if the house cleaning was better handled.

Our 2025 Adventure

The house was perfect for my family of 15 The sunsets were Gorgeous. The house layout might be helpful for those who are considering the home. On level one: there is the kitchen, laundry room living room with a full sized pull out sofa bed, 1/2 bath and off the dining room there is a small room with a full size bed On level two: there are two bedrooms, one bedroom has a queen bed and in the master bedroom which overlooks Lake Erie there is a King bed, a full size sofa sleeper and in the huge closet there is a full size bedLevel two: has two full bathrooms On level three: there is a king bed and a queen bed. BONUS On the level two landing: there is a full size sofa bed.

Beautiful peaceful quiet reprieve

Lovely home, super spacious. There’s room sound monitoring devices so it’s definitely not a big loud party house but that’s not what we wanted so it was perfect for us. The views from downstairs and the master bedroom are stunning. Well stocked kitchen but bring your own cleaning supplies, extra tp, paper towels and you’ll be good. It was perfect for a quiet break to relax, read and restore.

Graduation Weekend - Lake Views

The view of the lake is wonderful! Comfortable large number of beds with enough space for the whole family. The kitchen and bathrooms were very clean and in good condition. The carpets were pretty worn and dingy and we had a couple of maintenance issues but the property owners were very responsive in taking care of issues. This was a last minute booking for our family to attend graduation weekend at Oberlin College and we were grateful to be able to rent it.

Very nice and the view was amazing and the bed was comfortable

Nice neighbor and very quiet street with beautiful view . Would like to go back there . Had problem with the hot water tank not working but they replaced the whole unit right away . We really enjoyed and our kids came out one day and had great time . Grill worked great too !!

Great weekend away

Beautiful house- great set up for a family or two to share with beautiful views. Close to beach park and very well stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay again-

Beautiful house & great host!

Highly responsive & professional host. Hocking Hills owns a number of cabins in Ohio and it is apparent that they are highly experienced hosts. The house is stunning! The pictures do not do it justice. We had a group of 9 adults stay here over 4th of July and there was so much room for everyone. We weren't sure of the layout based on the photos so I will add some extra details here: there are 3 floors and 3 bedrooms. The middle floor has a standalone king size bedroom and then the master bedroom. In the master, there's a king bed and then the walk-in closet has another bed. I stayed in there and loved it! Pitch black and cool temps in there. The attic room is the yellow room in the photos with 2 beds. There is also a futon in the master and a futon in a communal space on the second floor. Lastly, on the first floor, there's a double bed just off the dining area in a sunroom type small space. As far as bathrooms, 1/2 bath on the first floor & then two full baths on the second floor. The backyard is beautiful! The neighbors were friendly. We enjoyed our stay. Lorain has clearly seen some tough times from the pandemic with a number of small businesses that never reopened. We spent our days at Cedar Point (40 min drive) and our nights out in Vermillion, Sandusky, or Cleveland. Only two things that I would suggest - house of this size with 8-12 guests, a Keurig single cup coffee maker is tough. I brought a regular coffee pot to avoid long lines for caffeine in the a.m. It also would've been really wonderful to have access to a patio umbrella due to limited shade on both deck spaces. Small considerations - this place was pretty perfect! Thank you :)

Gorgeous home with amazing view

Beautiful home was clean and modern. The pictures do not do it justice. The view was amazing! The kids loved sitting on the lakeside deck watching boats.
