We enjoyed fishing off the dock (we caught an alligator gar, brim, car fish) - we saw jumping sturgeon - kids loved jumping off the dock. We made our meals at home every night and enjoyed Legends Dessert for ice cream. We went to Fannings springs through a local RV park kayak excursion and ate at Suwanee Belle Landing for our last night (very good). We also traveled to Manatee State Park to swim in Manatee Sorings. Overall this was a great home base with beautiful mornings and evenings in the dock.

Beautiful views!

Great spot on the Suwanee River. House was clean, and nice inside. Only downside was the outside could use some sprucing up. Overall great weekend.

River retreat getaway

Fabulous cabin getaway on the Suwannee River! Beautifully furnished and decorated inside. Great room layout with open concept kitchen, dining room, and TV room/den. Very nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Large deck and dock and incredible views of the river! Plenty of parking and very convenient boat ramp close by at Yellow Jacket Campground. We cruised the river south to the Gulf, and also cruised north to the Santa Fe River. We were excited ahead of our trip, but this even exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend. Beautiful Cabin and Location

Highly recommend this property if you're looking for a rental in the area. My family would gladly book again. Clean home; friendly and responsive owners. Their home has all the things you'd need for a home away from home and even some things you didn't think you'd need.

Family fun and relaxation at the River Retreat

We had a great time at the cabin which was clean, cozy and had everything we needed to have a fantastic stay! We visited the Manatee springs as well as Cedar Kay...what a great time! It was so nice to grab a cup of coffee and head out to the dock to sit and enjoy the river. Sabrina the host is so sweet and helpful...thank you for adding to our fantastic vacation!

River Paradise

This property is awesome for those who want to get away and spend time outdoors with family and friends. It has it all. Beautiful view from a second story, wraparound balcony with direct gorgeous views of the majestic Suwannee River lined with amazing cypress trees. From the front of the house there is another natural treasure in a swamp that I believe is part of an adjacent wildlife refuge. We recommend one should bring experience. There are about five minutes of river that are some of the most beautiful I have seen all of wildlife. There is an eight burner grill that would make any outdoor chef, jealous, as well as a large flat grill, rate for cooking breakfast. And the most useful appliance is an on-site icemaker that will keep all your coolers ready to go. I will definitely be back and would recommend this place for anyone who appreciates the solitude of the outdoors.

Unbelievable experience!

This cabin is beautiful and looks exactly like the photos. The place was spotless and had everything we could need plus more on hand. The lake was perfect and everything was so very clean. Sabrina the host was EXTREMELY HELPFUL and responsive and answered every question I had during our stay. I highly recommend this cabin and this host. 100% 10/10!!!!!!

Strange man on property - Construction - Broken AC

I have no complaints about the property but unfortunately very disappointed and had a negative experience due to poor customer service. On the first morning of the stay, a strange man parked and walked into the backyard of the property. As a female I was scared about a man approaching a private property I rented and confused if the pier was public. He didn’t introduce himself and he left. I contacted the property manager and she said the pier was not public and she didn’t know who the man was - which made me more paranoid that a stranger came into the property. The man came back with someone else a second time and we got scared again so we didn’t approach them. Again we contacted the property manager and now she’s questioning if it’s a construction team they hired. The men left again. They came back for a THIRD time (still no heads up from owner or introduction from the man) and he started DRILLING on the pier. The noise was incredibly loud and disturbing. We told the man that we were renting if he could stop, but he continued drilling because of the owner’s request. This was the worst experience I’ve had in a rental property due to safety concerns and then CONSTRUCTION on the property. I do not want to share my private stay with strangers coming in and out. As a woman this experience was scary and the way it was handled was extremely unprofessional. On top of it all, the AC was not working the first night and we were all sweating the first night. An AC repair person had to come to the property on the first day - separate from the construction team that came over. Vey disappointing experience since the house was so beautiful.

Beautiful home on a beautiful river

Headed to a part of FL we hadn’t explored before for MLK weekend with our daughter and her fiancé. Had a nice time on the River. Comfortable well appointed home. Had a little trouble finding it in the dark the first night but otherwise all was smooth sailing. Just be sure to read and download the attachment with extra info on the rental and you’ll be fine. Visited Manatee Springs State Park one day then explored the North side of the Suwannee National Wildlife Refuge including Shired Beach the other day. Also spent time just chilling at the house. The stars are AMAZING out on the dock and just sitting watching the river roll by and the mists burn off as the sun rises is vacation in and of itself.

Stunning property

Sabrina's house was wonderful. It was by far the most provisioned house I've rented and I travel 3 times a month for work so I've seen many. The house is very updated with high end features while at the same time it's in a gorgeous secluded setting. I will definitely come back as it's the perfect spot to check out and get away from the city. Sabrina was easy to communicate with and very hospitable. Overall we give it max stars.

Wonderful Cabin

Our family really enjoyed staying in this beautiful cabin. The calm and peaceful area is a great way to enjoy nature. The home was excellent and had all the amenities one needs. Also home was really well made and clean. Will definitely recommend and stay again.

Amazing Getaway

Everything was AMAZING! Perfect view , check in process was smooth and the house looks exactly like the pictures!! I will definitely be coming here again with friends/family! Highly recommend !
