The Barn gave us a quiet, quaint place to stay while exploring the Nature Coast bike trail. Our dog loved exploring the property. Gunnar was an awesome host!

We enjoyed our stay at the Barn! Gunnar was prompt with details and was very helpful and responsive. The property and house felt very roomy and cozy.

Easter getaway

Rustic, vintage vibe, very spacious. We enjoyed a lot. Had a lovely family time. New great memories created.

Stay at The Barn

What a hidden gem! Very clean, soft beds with good pillows! A great escape with no traffic noise, just birds and farm sounds. Very well equipped for a longer stay, if only I had more time. This is one we will come back to for sure!

The Barn was really nice! It was very clean and quiet. You could only tell where the neighbors were during the day but at night it was very peaceful and private.There are nature trails and state parks nearby as well but the property itself feels like being in a forest.Note that there is no full-sized oven but a small one so plan your meals accordingly.Overall, our experience was really nice and we would definitely book again.

The Barn is a very comfortable place to relax and enjoy the Florida countryside! Located in the middle of the woods, the surroundings are peaceful with only the sounds of the neighbors’ farm animals! The Barn has been renovated with beautiful antiques yet still comfortable! Plenty of room to stretch out and find your own space or get together for games or outdoor hike and campfire! This is the perfect place for you if you’re looking for family quiet time and only minutes to the springs, shopping and restaurants!

Great location for visiting area springs and a relaxing campfire

Wife, pup and I enjoyed this laid back location. Used as a hub to visit local springs and areas within an hour radius. Some great character to the place and we enjoyed some treasure hunting the local flea market and thrift/antique shops. Host very communicative. No washer/dryer but we didn’t need.

Did not stay

My guests said the toilet was broke, the twin beds were in fact cots. They did not stay and went to a hotel.

TR B's Guest showed up and and left Then making up reasons to get a refund. The toilettes are working just fine, there are plenty of blankets and the place is spotless. Please read other reviews

Perfect for the venue!!

The barn was so cute, rustic, with everything we needed. Quiet. I'll be back in the summer to go to the Springs! Before I got the Wifi password, I had limited signal and had to contact owner. He was very responsive. Then I had an operator issue (my fault) on the door lock. He responded in seconds. BTW, this is not Handicap accessible. There are several stairs for the bedrooms.

This was a great retreat to get away from city noise. The Barn was a unique property with a cozy feel and the area was very quiet. The deck was a great place for morning coffee or late night sitting listening to the nature noises of the night. Gunnar was very accommodating and easy to talk to and get ahold of. Would definitely consider coming back here to get away again!

Why would you rate a one star? Clean beds provided, Air conditioned. Clean Bathrooms, free coffee and spices. Two and a half acres of privacy. It always the one-night guests who expect the Maro largo for $ 150 .
