Amazing

Such a great use of space . Host is outstanding this is a hidden gem the hot tub amazing. Close to everything door dash whatever you would ever want and the ducks were fun I will definitely be back

Fall Getaway

This home is well-loved and very cozy! The host made sure everything you might need was in the home and easy to find, including extra toilet paper and toiletries. Communication with her was amazing! Loved the huge dining table and countertop, comfy couch, and big bedrooms, but the hot tub was our favorite! The ‘wall of fun’ even excited my 23 year old! The living room area and second bath are downstairs so may not be ideal for disabled or elderly guests. The driveway is steep, but plenty of flat parking is provided at the top of the hill. Also, neighbors are close, as expected on the lake, but quiet and friendly. Would definitely rent again! Thanks much!

Great place to stay. Hot tub was great. Kayaks were put to use. Quiet neighborhood. Will definitely look for this place in the future if we visit again

Wonderful Owners!

I cannot say enough about the kindness of Michelle. We made the trip right during the aftermath of Hurricane Helene for our daughters’ first Clemson experience, completely naive on our drive down from Raleigh of how badly the area was damaged. Halfway to the destination we found out the property did not have power. Michelle drove to the property herself to assess, blow off leaves and do what she could for our family. We ended up not using our first night there because of the power outage situation (we stopped in Charlotte and stayed with family because for a bit we weren’t sure if the game was still on or not), but did decide to use the house the second night since we were leaving late from the Clemson game and wouldn’t be able to find a hotel due to all the power outages or being fully booked. We were nervous at first, but so happy we decided to go to the home! She had lanterns waiting for us and despite not having power we thoroughly enjoyed the adventure of it all. Thank goodness for cool weather because we all ended sleeping well too! Without asking her to, she ended up refunding us a large portion of what we paid due to the unfortunate circumstance we were all dealing with. She was genuine and communicated so well with me, back and forth over two days. I was blown away by her kindness. We hope to be able to go back and enjoy her beautiful home again soon. It was so clean, organized and well taken care of. A perfect place for families!

Beautiful lakehouse

Stay at this beautiful property that felt like home. Very clean and unique in its own right. Host was more then accommodating and very nice. Cant wait to come back and bring the rest of our family.

A Frame Cottage

Nice home with lot's of space. Extra-large table for game nights and beds were very comfy. Hot tub was awesome!! This house has pretty much everything needed for a vacation. However, we took our boat, but water was drained from the lake at the time we were there, so looking out back was like a mud hole. House has a very large incline going down to house and it was hard parking our pontoon boat in front driveway and space for the boat. We enjoyed Lake Hartwell, but our favorite is Lake Jocassee. It is a beautiful lake. Spent two days there, it's about an hour away from house. We visited Helen GA for a day. (money pit, not all that great) A great place to eat if you like bbq and it's right around the corner, The Smok'n Pig. Great BBQ and great place to enjoy cornhole, puttputt, cold beer or just hang out outside.

A little piece of heaven!

This was my second time staying at this wonderful spot just outside of Clemson and it did not disappoint once again! The cabin is so clean and you immediately feel at home. My two friends and I enjoyed some time by the lake and a soak in the hot tub after a round of golf at the Walker course. Michelle is a gracious host and we hope to come back. Thank you for everything Michelle!

Perfect location

The cottage was perfect for us. Plenty of room and plenty of options of things to do near by. I love that there's a list of tourists spots listed on the fridge. Very nice deck facing the lake. Hot tub was a plus. Spacious kitchen with lots of gadgets. Very conveniently Located off of I85. Very steep driveway. This is not a location for the handicaped. Very clean and had everything we needed and more.

Perfect lake house!!

It is hard to find a property with a real fireplace (wood burning) and a hot tub. This place has both and it’s directly on the lake with its own dock. So much to do between movies, games and everything nature gives you to enjoy your stay. You truly don’t have to leave once you get there to enjoy your stay. This place is so amazing that we have turned it into our regular getaway that we try to get to a few times a year to enjoy what the different seasons have to offer. Wintertime you get some amazing birds that come down from Canada and other northeastern states. It’s truly a slice of paradise cut into nature on a lake.

Nice Getaway Weekend

Very nice getaway with my sister. Well stocked, clean home on the lake. Weather didn’t cooperate with us, but we did get to enjoy the hot tub, which was fantastic!

Relaxing in the country

The layout was amazing. People that want to go to sleep are not bothered by people staying up since the living room w/ fireplace is under the sleeping spaces. You won’t be bothered by the night owls walking around and enjoying themselves by the fireplace. The hot tub is right by the kitchen so getting out and coming inside is not a far walk which is really nice. It is quiet and tucked in the country but close enough to everything that you have many options for Uber eats and others to deliver real food for a stay in kinda night. A property that has all the spices and sauces on hand already was a nice treat. Ample shampoo, toiletries and so much more. You can go straight to the property and be able to enjoy a hot cup of coffee or tea that the property offers. We have never stayed anywhere that was so well stocked. The host is the most amazing host we have ever had the pleasure to work with. She was helpful, understanding and was compassionate to others situations. Working with her has reminded me of how people are supposed to be.

We enjoyed our stay. We were disappointed the lake was not there to use. But we know that is our of the owners hands. The cottage has basic needs there so we didn't have to go buy stuff which was wonderful!

Wonderful experience!

Lovely lake home, great amenities, excellent communication with owner! Would have stayed if the hotel was not paid for by my son's fishing tournament for the rest of our time here. Only caution - would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues because of steep driveway and walk down into house. Once in the house would be fine though.

Relaxing stay and Easy drive

This was a charming property for our family. We were in town for a local mountain biking trip. The home was close to the trails as well as restaurants and shops in and around Pendleton. The property manager was so helpful and always fast to communicate. The hot tub was a great treat after a day of biking!

Beware

No swimming area. Dock sat at a sharp angle. Steps were uneven. Yard wasn't mowed. Steep terrain. Bath rugs were dirty. Leftover milk, oj ans opened cheese in refrigerator. The only family room was down stair by itself. Hot tub was too hot to get in even after trying all the managers suggestions. Fairly clean though. Just really disappointed in the lake situation. Obviously we would never stay there again.

First trip to Lake Hartwell

Place was amazing. Felt like we were house sitting for someone with all the "stuff" provided. Something for all ages to enjoy. We loved the canoe rides, sitting at the table playing games and chatting, and of course the hot tub. Water level was down, so unable to fish, but was not missed since it was so hot out...so we enjoyed movies and inside time together. And the best we will remember is the scavenger hunt the host set up. We spent hours counting and recounting, and finally all got the same number.

Clemson graduation

We came from Alaska in the heat of SC summer. Being on the lake was awesome! Everything we could have wanted or needed was supplied. Communication with the owner was amazing. We saw all kinds of wildlife, our favorite were the 2 baby deer still showing all of their spots. There was plenty of room to host a family bbq, comfortable and spacious.
