Very clean property with a nice kitchen and gas grill, which we used quite abit. There is ample off street parking. Nicely landscaped backyard to relax and enjoy the breezes and the birds. Plenty of places to relax, the backyard, front enclosed porch and chairs out front. Walkable to downtown and short drives to hiking and the Monument National park. Very nice neighborhood.

This house was perfect in all the ways. It had everything one needed. It was clean, decorated well and had so much charm. We loved the front porch sunroom for our morning coffee. The property manager was quick to respond in the booking process with the couple questions we had. We will absolutely book this house (if available) the next time we are in town!

We stayed in the Butterfly house 15 nights. Pros: The house was comfortable, clean and nicely decorated. It was in a great location close to downtown and CMU in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen area was large with a lot of room for cooking and dining with updated appliances. The beds were comfortable and the living room had plenty of seating. Convenient laundry in the basement. Nice backyard to enjoy and a long driveway down the length of the house. The communication with the host and check in was easy.Cons: When using the swamp cooler during the summer, the windows had to be left open a few inches so the house couldn't be securely locked. We felt like it was a safe neighborhood so it was okay for us. The kitchen was supplied with the basics needed for cooking but it could have included more for convenience.

This is probably our 4th or 5th time we have stayed at the Butterfly House while in Grand Junction visiting our student daughter at CMU. We love this precious little house and it is perfect for the two of us. The central location is handy to campus, downtown & pretty much anywhere we want to go in the Grand Valley. We definitely use all of the features in the kitchen as we try to make our own meals at the house instead of going out all of the time. Super comfortable beds. Highly recommend this place for a small group.
