Very dirty

Very disappointed in how filthy the floors were. Our daughter didn’t sleep in the guest bedroom because the bed appeared to have been slept in and the pillow case smelled also as if it hadn’t been washed from the last person that slept on it. The microwave had food spatters everywhere that hadn’t been cleaned in a while. The freezer appeared to have dried blood in the bottom of it. If you’re a coffee drinker, there wasn’t a coffee maker. There was no light on the back deck for us to take our dog out safely at night. No one let us know someone was living in the space below. Garbage cart was completely full so we couldn’t take our trash out. We had to request check-in information 3 times before we got it. Received it just a few minutes before we were due to arrive. On the cautionary side, the steps to the front door are a little steep if you have any mobility issues. We realize this is a relatively new listing. I believe given the time and some work, this will become a good place to stay. It’s just going to take some time.

False Advertisement

The profile for this space was misleading in that it said we'd have the whole house when, in fact, we received only the top floor of the house. When we discovered there not enough beds for our entire crew, Zachary, the home owner, said he'd send us a blow-up mattress but never delivered. He pointed out that there was a mattress inside the house, but that mattress was filthy with blood or some other dark stain. The back of the house where there were stairs leading to an exit was unlit and therefore dark and dangerous at night. The refrigerator was defective and the washing machine leaked. If you're okay with these easily corrected issues, then the place is okay.

Perfect for those with dogs

We especially enjoyed the large fenced-in backyard as we had two dogs with us. There was no difficulty with us bringing them. The house was clean and had more than enough space for us. We were close to many diversions - we went to Kiawah Island every day. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone.

Quiet pet friendly place

We enjoyed our stay and is a very nice property. Close enough to the busyness but not right dab in the middle of it. It advertised 3 bedrooms but the third on had a reclining chair not a bed but we made do. The beds where super comfortable. Plenty of towels and bedding provided. Didn’t realize it was a duplex (has a downstairs apartment) but that was not a deal breaker. The back yard is fenced in which was awesome with kids and dog. Check in and out was simple, which I love. I would recommend this property and would stay again.
