Welcome to Cast Your Cares — Your Coastal Getaway in Cape San Blas!

Tucked inside the new gulf-side Villa Del Sol community, Cast Your Cares offers the perfect blend of coastal charm and comfort. Just a short stroll (about 5 minutes) down the community boardwalk brings you to the sands of Cape San Blas. After a sun-soaked day at the beach, kick back in the open-concept kitchen, dining, and living space, or head to the fully fenced backyard to grill and gather around the propane fire pit under the stars.

This 3 bed / 3.5 bath retreat is thoughtfully appointed, with a well-stocked kitchen, Smart TVs in every room (with Hulu + Live TV, Disney+ & ESPN+), and plenty of extras to make your stay feel like home.

🐾 Pet Friendly! Up to 2 well-behaved dogs welcome ($75 fee). Please ask about dogs over 75 lbs.

🚿 Enclosed outdoor shower with hot/cold water + hooks for towels/swimsuits.

🌭 Backyard with seating for 8, propane fire pit, and Weber gas grill (backup propane provided).

🎾 2 community pickleball courts (paddles + balls provided by us) and a swimming pool just across the street.

☕ Keurig Duo with a full coffee starter kit.

🍳 Fully stocked kitchen with cookware, dinnerware for 12, crockpot, Instant Pot, Ninja blender, and more.

🧺 Starter kits for kitchen and bath (paper towels, dish pods, TP, trash bags, etc.).

🏖️ Beach gear provided: chairs, towels, umbrella, wagon, blanket, toys—and even a kayak for guest use!

👶 Large dog crate, baby gate, and white noise machines in each bedroom.

📦 Ample pantry and cabinet space for groceries.

🛠️ Small toolbox + kitchen essentials (can opener, corkscrew, scissors, etc.).

A Few Notes to Know:

📺 We don’t have cable, but every TV is a Smart TV with a paid Hulu + Live TV subscription (includes Disney+ and ESPN+). You’re also welcome to stream from your own accounts.

🚤 No boat/trailer parking is allowed in the driveway or common areas per HOA. We can help you find marina storage nearby.

🔒 The only locked space is one owner's closet off the master bath.

You’ll have full access to the home and amenities, and our local team is just a call away for any housekeeping or maintenance needs.

Great Family Getaway

Perfect dog-friendly family rental. Access to the beach was quick and easy with the provided beach carts. Pickleball courts are a great little something to do when you want a break from the beach. The house itself was fantastic, cozy, and well decorated, with an excellently furnished kitchen and very comfy beds. I will say I wish that I had asked if the pool was heated before booking for spring break (it wasn't) because it was pretty chilly. Everything else was top-notch. Communication before, during, and after the stay was timely and professional. I would recommend this place to any family!

Bathing suits and body wash

Bathing suits and body wash. That’s all you need to bring! This home has it all! The decor is beautiful. We loved the welcome sign and sweet treats! The beds are incredibly comfortable. The showers are hot. The kitchen is FULLY stocked (we cook a lot and they had everything you could ever need!). The house had chairs and a wagon we used for the beach. The propane grill was perfect to cook up local fish for dinner. We especially appreciated the bundle of firewood - what a wonderful core memory we made on our last night with our kids, our dog, sunset, good music and a beach fire! Thank you for sharing your home!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is incredibly beautiful and remarkably clean. The owners obviously take pride in this house and supply so many extras (beach chairs and umbrellas, etc). We didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay at Cast Your Cares! The communication with the hosts was prompt and courteous, the property was immaculate and the home was extremely well-appointed. The fenced-in yard was a big bonus! Easy walk to the beach and bay- we will definitely be back!

Great stay in cape San Blas

This property had all the amenities that we were looking for. Close to the beach , pool , pickleball , volley ball. Dog friendly and even had a crate, dog bowls and fenced yard! The fire pit was awesome in the back and the kitchen was full of top of the line cookware and cooking tools. The rooms were awesome as they all had their own bathrooms. We stayed with two baby’s and the stay was very convenient and comfortable. Would def stay in this house and area again!

Fabulous Vacation!

We loved this property! House is beautiful and fit our family perfectly! No detail was forgotten in providing an excellent vacation rental! Very short walk to the beach and we loved how the beach was not crowded and dog friendly! Plenty of great restaurants to choose from between Port St. Joe and Cape San Blas! Adorably decorated and all the extra amenities any family could need!!

The fenced backyard was such a pleasure to have especially since it was our 1st beach trip with our babies that soon turn 2 “aka pups”. The kitchen was fully stocked with any cooking needs that one would need. The special touches were not forgotten when making this special beach house! The walk to the beach is a short one and WE will be back next year!!

Fantastic place!

Very nicely decorated house, comfortable master bedroom, new construction. Awesome private beach access. Currently, August 2022, the community is under construction, but when it’s completed it will be great. At times the noise level of construction was annoying but for the most part not a problem. I would definitely stay there again.

Our Favorite CSB Rental Ever! Loved it & Will Be Back!

Our family enjoyed every moment of our week at this outstanding property in Cape San Blas, which is just a quick walk to the beach. The owners have thoughtfully designed the home with top notch furnishings and left nothing to chance. The fenced back yard was perfect for our two dogs, and the front porch with an easy to use pup gate made quiet evening chats a pleasure. Beds were comfortable, and the wi-fi is fast. Looking forward to planning a return trip soon. What a terrific experience.

Beautiful Winter Getaway

Perfect start to our annual winter getaway.The location is secluded enough from the hustle and bustle but close enough to civilization to get the things we need. Julie and Greg have demonstrated their talents in decorating this home. From the moment you walk in you feel the comforts of home. Comfortable furniture, VERY comfortable beds, a kitchen that just knocks others out of the park, a huge walk in pantry that would meet anyone’s needs, and a great fenced back and side yards. Close to the beach. What more could anyone ask for.

FAMILY AND DOG FRIENDLY, BLISSFULL VACATION

Cast your Cares was everything we expected and then some. The fenced back yard made our stay with Sadie, our pug, the easisiest and safest vacation we have had with her yet. We celebrated our son's graduation and the proximity to the ocean, the bay and walking trails was so convenient. The owners were top notch with communication. We would highly recommend this home to friends and family. We plan to book again in fall.

Amazing!!!

This property was amazing! I can not say one negative thing about it. The place was spotless and beautiful. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking. The back yard had a fence for our pup. This is the first property I didn’t have to go in and do some cleaning. It was a great time for all.

A wonderful Stay

My family and I enjoyed a week's stay at Cast Your Cares. It was a wonderful experience. Greg and Julie have thought of everything. Everything for the beach that you need is provided included towels, umbrellas, chairs, and beach wagon. Even your fur baby is thought of with treats and a dog crate if needed. The outdoor shower is awesome (it has hot water!). Great for cleaning your dog of sand after a day at the beach.

Amazing Beach Getaway

My husband, 1 year old, and I had an amazing time at this rental. It is a super short walk to the beach (if my dramatic toddler can do it anyone can). Nice neighborhood. Was still under construction but even with that it wasn’t loud or a bother. The house was beautiful. Decorated well. Beds super comfy and plenty of room to run around. The fenced in back yard was great for our little girl to run around. Would definitely book again.

What first drew us to the Cape was its laid-back charm—and its reputation for being incredibly pet friendly. Our 13-year-old Pomeranian, Samson, was the original beach explorer, and now he shares the adventure with his "little" brother, Thor, also a Pomeranian. They love it here... and so do we!
