We loved our stay. The location is perfect and the view from the bedroom balcony is lovely. The house had everything we needed to enjoy the day at the beach and relaxing time indoors. The bathrooms were all set up with soap and shampoo, which was a nice surprise. There was plenty of room to spread out and our college kids loved the pickleball courts and pool at the property. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful stay for our spring break vacation. Very clean, well appointed. Close to the beach with all hints needed for a peaceful day at the beach. Kids also loved the pool. Wonderful community. Owners were very responsive and made for a very enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was neat and clean and had all that we needed and more. The use of the beach wagon was a plus for us as we had a baby and gear to take back and forth to the pool and beach. It was a VERY short walk to the pool and from the pool, a VERY short walk to the beach. I was expecting a long walk, but it wasn’t at all. We tried some of the local food, and it was delicious. We also loved how quiet and family friendly this location was. If you’re looking for great views, quiet location, and a place to make memories with family and/or friends, I highly recommend this place! 2 Recommendations: 1. Rent a golf cart early as I think it would have been nice to explore. We waited too late to get one. 2. There’s a general store that has what you need, but if you want to spend less on groceries, stop by the Piggly Wiggly or Dollar General in Port St. Joe before going in.

Not sure if by “frills” you mean the house or Cape San Blas generally. We love that Cape San Blas is laid back and has an “old Florida” feel. As far as the house goes. I would like to let others know that we do offer a fully stocked kitchen including crock pot, air fryer, blender etc. Also free to use at the house are beach towels, a fishing style beach cart, coolers, plenty of free beach chairs, and a free paddle board.

We loved our visit to the Cape this year, and our stay in Drew's home was delightful. The home is comfortable, clean and in a fantastic location. The walk to the beach is short, and the beach in this area is gorgeous white sand and picture perfect.The owner, Drew, is responsive and kind. Any issues that came up were dealt with quickly. Communication was excellent. We felt at home, and loved that we could sleep in comfy beds and cook in a great kitchen. (A note - this is probably a given when looking at pics of this home - but if someone considering this place has difficulty with stairs, this would not be an ideal place for you. Otherwise, this is an excellent choice!)Thanks for an excellent stay, Drew! We will be in touch when coming back to the area!

Booked the trip to take our dog to the beach. Very easy to get to and from the beach. Place had everything we needed. Had to be careful on the decks as they are worn down, but otherwise would stay there again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Drew’s Cape San Blas rental and couldn’t recommend it more highly! The home was exceptionally clean, spacious, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing vacation including household items, dishes and cookware, coffeemaker, washer/dryer, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, beach cart, and a paddleboard.The layout was perfect for our group, with two master suites, a bunk room featuring two sets of twin beds, and an additional sofa bed in the living room—plenty of space for the whole family to spread out and enjoy. The balconies overlooking the turtle pond were such a peaceful touch, and the sunsets were truly beautiful.The amenities really set this property apart. With two pools, a pickleball court, and incredibly easy beach access just steps from the home, there was always something to enjoy. The location is also ideal—conveniently close to the state park, as well as several great restaurants, shops, and bike/kayak rental options.We did have a minor issue with one of the beds during our stay, but Drew was fantastic—he responded quickly and had someone out to fix it within just a couple of hours. That level of responsiveness and care made a big difference.Overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we would absolutely choose to stay here again. Highly recommend to anyone planning a trip to Cape San Blas!

One of the nicest places we've stayed

We've stayed in at least a half dozen Barrier Dunes units and this one was the best! It was so clean and Andrew is so attentive (checked in on us and replied super fast!). Would highly recommend this 5-Star rental!

Spring Weekend Beach Trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in cape San blas! The beaches were gorgeous! Pools were great! Playground was nice! Very convenient to stay park boat ramp. Condo was extremely clean and hosts were easy to get in touch with.

Comfortable and spacious

With 3 large bedrooms each with their own bath and and half bath on the main, the place was spacious and comfortable. Good kitchen, well equipped. Love the location next to the state park.

We have a personal relationship with our cleaners and ensure they earn a living wage. We care about your experience and want to make sure you have as stress free a vacation as possible. The house is fully stocked including beach chairs, floats, and toys. We are parents, we understand how much it takes to travel with kids. We put a Pack in Play in the house so you don't have to travel with one. We also put baby gates in the house so that if you have small children you can put up the gates so you don't have to worry about them climbing the stairs.
