Relax with a cold drink on the front porch or enjoy views of the mountains and pond from the back deck. There is plenty of space to breathe here. Feel free to snack on whatever we have. Beautiful property!

Great location and spacious

We were 4 adults visiting the area and couldn’t be more pleased with how convenient the house was to various wineries, historic sites, and downtown C’ville. Jeff was very responsive to any questions and provided a nicely stocked kitchen and fridge. Lots of space to spread out and comfy beds. We would rent again.

Just like staying at home!

Wonderful communication with host; comfortable accommodations; generously- stocked staples in kitchen, safe property with a beautiful backyard view of fields and mountains. Host thought of everything to make our stay hassle-free and enjoyable.

Waters family and friends visit

Beautiful house and property and very well-equipped kitchen. The location was perfect for all the attractions we visited. We especially appreciated the address sign that glowed in the dark, very helpful for coming back at night! Very generous with sharing food and beverages. The host was very responsive and answered all our questions. We highly recommend for your home away from home. Enjoy!

Beautiful Weekend

Very impressed with the property. The house had all the amenities yu could want. We sat outside watching the birds and the view was spectacular. We were celebrating 53 years since we graduated from college. Highly recommend visiting Monticello get the full package. Went to several vineyards but make sure you go to the Trump vineyard. The views and hospitallity were incredible. My husband wants to go now.

Winery Weekend

This house is in the perfect location! We enjoyed sitting on the back porch watching the hummingbirds and two fawns playing in the field. There was a path mowed to the pond and we loved taking a walk there. Very clean house! Can't wait to stay again!

Lovely stay

This home was wonderful with everything we needed. The birdwatching was excellent from the kitchen and front porch. Communication with the owner was seamless. Did our annual fruit picking at Chile's in Crozet - blueberries, blackberries, AND peaches on the same day! All in all, a lovely week.

Perfect Cousins trip

Beautiful scenery

We stayed here to visit family in Charlotteville. The location is perfect ,outside of town but minutes away from everything you want to do. Jeff was very generous with the food he left for us to eat during our stay. Bird watching was an added bonus. Jeff was very responsive to any question. We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable.

Charlottesville Wineries

This house was lovely and the grounds well manicured. We had fabulous weather and used outdoor seating both in the backyard and front yard. Jeff, our host, was quick to reply and the house is stocked with everything you could need. Very close to so many Charlottesville attractions. Great location.

UVA & Lake Monticello Visit

Charming and super comfortable home on spacious, serene property. We were visiting our daughter at UVA but wanted to stay outside of Charlottesville and knew we would be visiting Lake Monticello. This home is perfectly located far enough from town to enjoy the country air but within 20 minutes of UVA and downtown. Thomas Jefferson Parkway itself if a beautiful drive and filled with stop offs like Carter Mountain and Monticello hiking trails. The home, just as described, is charming with modern amenities making it very comfortable. Clean, fully stocked, and hosts that make sure all needs are met. Highly recommend and will look for another opportunity to stay here.

Comfortable and well stocked

A very comfortable and quiet house, family friendly and well stocked kitchen, beds very comfortable and towels are thick and soft. We very much appreciated the coffee and breakfast items which were so generous and which saved us a trip to the grocery store after long days of travel! ! The property is peaceful. Restorative to me during a stressful time. Close to Monticello, Carter’s orchard (donuts!) and a vineyard for fun, also a nice walking trail at bottom of mountain. Host is welcoming and responsive. Thank you!

Great House in Cville area

This home was a nice size for our party of four adult women, so we each had our own space. The kitchen was well appointed and the views in the back yard were amazing. Overall, we had a great stay!

Family Weekend

We had a great stay here. The home and property are beautiful and close to all that Charlottesville has to offer. Although the weather didn’t cooperate for our stay we had a wonderful experience. I would recommend it to everyone.

Wine trip 2023

We were all very impressed with this property. Not only was the home beautiful, the beds comfortable, location to wineries great quite location, but Jeff the host had the kitchen and pantry stocked with food. From fresh fruit to fresh milk. We had come prepared for our meals but it was extremely hospitable for this to be offered. Communication with the just was a great too. Another nice touch was the bird feeders in the deck. We enjoyed watching the birds while we had our breakfast. We will definitely stay at this property for our future wine trips. Thank you for being an amazing host.

Great Location

This was a great experience. The property manager was very helpful. The house was clean and stocked with many unexpected goodies. The location was perfect for visiting wineries as well as being a short distance to the downtown pedestrian mall. Will stay there again when visiting Charlottesville.

Location, Location, Location!

Location! This property was the perfect home base while exploring all that the Charlottesville area has to offer. Right down the road from Monticello, Highland, Mitchie Tavern, Simeon Market, Trump Winery, Carters Mtn...not far from UVA...and a gorgeous short trip up 22 to Montpelier and Grelen Market. Plenty of room in the house for everyone to gather and then retreat when needed (teens!). Snacks and drinks offered. Beautiful view out back, short stroll through a meadow to the pond. Check-in was simple and owner provided plenty of information. No surprises, Great Trip!! Recommend!
