Charming 2 BR and 2 full bath Cottage is located in Historic Downtown Laurel.

We are on Historical Short 7th Avenue located across from Bird Dog Cafe (featured on HGTV Hometown- but currently closed)-close to numerous specialty shops and restaurants! ******* This is just an FYI************Unfortunately, the business next-door to us has a very unkept yard and very unattractive unkept building/house. We have reached out to the city officials, but nothing has been done as of now. It is an embarrassment to us and I am most certain, a concern to our guests. We just felt it necessary to forewarn our guests so as not to receive a bad score due to another property not taking pride in their business************************* We are in walking distance to all of downtown Laurel, the Lauren Rogers Museum of Art and beautiful historic homes on the avenues! Park, walk, eat and shop without having to search for parking! It is important to us that your stay here is a very memorable one! We do our best to treat our guests with Southern Hospitality! We provide all you’ll need to have a memorable stay. Kitchen is equipped with a full coffee bar, and snacks are provided as well. We are open to special requests for any special occasion- birthdays, anniversaries or just a fun “girls trip”! Just let us know and we’ll make it happen. You’re sure to enjoy your stay!

Amazing Stay

Such a great stay! This house is in a great location with an easy walk to downtown, a couple doors down from a cute boutique and it was so clean! The way the hosts decorated it and the little extra touches in there made it a memorable experience.

Our Anniversary getaway

Our stay was superb, nice cozy cottage house with many amenities. Location was perfect, all walking distance to downtown shopping, restaurants & attractions. Tina was very informative & helpful. Would stay here again….5 stars across the board

Laurel get away adventure

We came to town to see Hometown for real. Our accommodations were perfect. Everything was above our hopes. We would suggest this house for everyone.

Anniversary getaway

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend getaway to celebrate our anniversary. It was very clean and well maintained. Perfect location to downtown . Definitely recommend this place

Cute cottage

We had the best experience from the minute I confirmed the reservation. The owner, Tina, messaged immediately and was very kind and welcoming! The cottage was perfect with 2 bedrooms and two bathrooms. I highly recommend!!

Perfect cottage

This little house is the absolute best. There was nothing we were lacking. Sometimes we get lost in our large home. This house is absolutely perfect. I enjoyed my time with husband here. Thank you so much for opening your little piece of heaven and sharing it with us. We were able to walk around to eat and sightsee. We will definitely stay here again!

Quick work trip

We had to stay one night in Laurel for work, and wanted 2 beds 2 baths, the cottage was lovely! Perfect comfortable and clean. We walked to town for dinner. Would stay again!

Great property and great location

This was our second stay at this property and we loved it both times. It is nicely furnished (the beds are super comfy) and has great extras like snacks, bottled water, coffee, tea and hot chocolate. The host is easily reached by call or text. We would highly recommend it for your stay in Laurel.

Property was small but we were in town for a wedding and weren't there most of the time so it worked fine for us. Beds were comfortable.

Lovely Laurel

So glad I finally got to visit Laurel. What a cute town and this charming cottage was the perfect place to stay. Great location to be able to walk to downtown and loved having the Bird Dog across the street. Delicious cocktails. The house is beautifully decorated and my husband and I loved each having our own bathroom. I would highly recommend!

Great Getaway

What a delightful place to stay while visiting Laurel. The cottage was well appointed, walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go and on a quiet street across from the Bird Dog Cafe and Blue Crab. The host was great from booking through checkout and even provided some small snacks and coffee options. It was perfect for 2 couples - and great for our family getaway. Highly recommend this cottage when you get to Laurel.

Such an adorable cottage

Perfect place for a girls weekend. Such an adorable, cozy cottage with very comfortable beds and furniture. There was even bottled water, coffee pods, and snacks, including Ben’s favorite Moon Pies. Laurel’s boutiques and restaurants are wonderful. Hostess was great in communicating even though she was in the process of moving. Highly recommend!

Wonderful cozy cottage!

Mayhaw cottage was so enjoyable we didn’t want to leave! We felt totally welcomed and relaxed as soon as we walked through the door. Location was great we could easily walk to downtown shops. If we make the trip to Laurel again we would choose to stay at Mahaw for sure! Thanks Tina

Quick visit to Laurel

The property was perfect for an overnight stay in Laurel! We were able to walk to downtown and enjoy some shopping! The cottage was ideal for 2 couples. We appreciated having 2 bathrooms!!! We had one question & owner response was prompt

Amazing little bungalow with thoughtful hosts!

We had such a great stay in Laurel, and loved coming “home” each night to this adorable little spot! It was perfect for me and my mom…it was clean, cozy, nicely decorated, and had all the amenities of home. It was perfect to serve as our home base while we explored the fantastic little town of Laurel!

Lovely Cottage!

Wonderful stay in a lovely cottage. Large, well appointed rooms, fully stocked kitchen and baths, and great location steps from the Laurel city center. Highly recommend!

Laurel has been my hometown since the age of 6, and I do love it here! Watching it grow, and seeing people fall in love with it is truly exciting!
Our cozy little cotage was built in 1905, and is adjacent to a (soon to be) 1 Queen Suite.
The house was formerly a full serve salon! My husband has been in the business for 24 years on this quaint little street; it was once called "Mayhaw Place". The Mayhaw Canning Company was located here in the historical warehouse district. There's so much history in our hometown! We can't wait to share it with you! It is our ultimate goal for you to walk through our doors and have the most "welcoming" experience, and leave wanting to come back!

Location Location Location- plus we strive to keep this unit as clean as we possibly can. It's convenient to eating establishments, the mall and numerous other local shops. It has a cozy, comfortable atmosphere, and you'll also enjoy the porch swing and adirondak chairs provided!
