Beautiful BEACH FRONT townhouse on Sugar Beach. 'Maalaea Surf is one of Maui's best kept secrets.' Spaciously spread over 5 acres of tropical gardens, Maalaea Surf sits directly on a beautiful white sandy beach which stretches for 5 miles. Beautiful sunsets and seasonal whale watching from the ocean front lanai. The secluded privacy of Maalaea Surf offers a peaceful and relaxing vacation spot while centrally located to Wailea (10min.), the airport (20min.) and Lahaina (35min.).

Unit H-6 is a two bedroom, two bathroom two-story unit, with vaulted ceilings, that is immaculately maintained and well equipped with all of the comforts of home. This second floor townhouse offers security and privacy while maintaining easy and open access to the beach and views.

Perfect location, amenities were great. The local fruit market and coffee/bakery shop down the street was a fun walk every morning! We would definitely stay here again, 10/10.

We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was very central, making it easy to get around Maui and explore different parts of the island. The area was peaceful and quiet, and we loved how uncrowded it felt. We frequently had the pool to ourselves or shared it with just one other family. The beach was also quiet, with the busiest time being around sunset.The beachfront location was beautiful, and the sunsets behind the West Maui Mountains were gorgeous. We enjoyed the pool and shuffleboard, and the balcony was a favorite spot for morning coffee and relaxing.One thing to be aware of is that the sand on this beach is very fine and gets stirred up easily by the waves, so the water was often brown rather than the clear blue we were hoping for. I hadn’t done my research and assumed it would be clear, but this did not stop us from enjoying the ocean—we still loved it!There were a few minor things to note. The A/C had a little trouble keeping up during the hottest afternoons, but it wasn’t a major issue. We noticed some ants and saw one cockroach. We understand occasional insects can be part of staying in a tropical, beachfront location, so it didn’t ruin our experience, but it’s worth mentioning for future guests. The condo is also on the second floor, so luggage was a little difficult to carry up.Overall, we had a very relaxing and wonderful stay!

This property’s view and location was amazing. Unfortunately the unit was so outdated… it felt dirty to me. There were lots of knats flying around in the upstairs bedroom and mold in the downstairs bathroom ceiling that was covered up with paint. The owners never communicated the fact that the unit did not have a washer and dryer - which would have been a deal breaker for our family. I don’t think the price is justified. We will not be returning.

We are sorry to hear about your experience with the condo. We feel it is important to address a few of your concerns. Prior to your arrival, we did everything we could to communicate with you answering questions about the property, providing guidance on activities on the island and answering questions about the condo. Regarding the laundry facilities, the listing and the welcome letter both state that there is no washer or dryer in unit - we are sorry you did not see that when you booked, and I would have happily answered this for you upon booking and/or prior to your arrival. We also want to address the comment regarding mold in the bathroom. The unit, and property as a whole are regularly inspected and maintained, and guest safety is always our top priority. We would never paint over mold, and there is no known mold issue in the bathroom. Any markings observed are not mold-related. This is something we take very seriously. While we regret that your experience fell short of expectations, we appreciate your feedback and wish you all the best on your future travels.

This place is all about the view! It’s amazing! The inside is not only not updated, but hasn’t been touched in probably decades. The appearance is so old it does feel dirty. The mattress was also so hard we had to buy a foam topper. We also never received check in info, so when we arrived at 11pm, we had to call VRBO to help us connect with the host since they weren’t answering their phone. That was frustrating as we were very tired. Some attention is needed to this place.

Rented this place with high expectations. When we arrived it exceeded every one of them. This place is truly a gem! We went with friends and I was praying it was nice. My friends couldn’t get over how great it was. Thank you for sharing your wonderful location.

Excellent stay overall.

Property was as advertised. Reviews on the property were accurate. Sugar beach is wonderful and much less crowded when we stayed in April, started getting busier later in our stay. We would highly recommend for a nice vacation.

Great location and layout of condo was perfect for family

We had the please of spending 6 nights at this amazing unit. Location is perfect for getting around the island. Amenities were exceptional everything we needed and then some was available. Beds were extremely comfortable and the kids loved the space upstairs to themselves. Pool, parking, beach access and local attractions made this place even more amazing. Would highly recommend!!!

Beautiful Beach Front Property

We enjoyed the property very much everything was great there were beach chairs, towels and assortment of sunscreens. The beach was very nice and the grounds of Maalaea Surf were so beautifully maintained. We hope to come back someday

best view ever

Stunning is the right word for the location and view. The evening sunsets were beautiful.The condo has everything you need for a week of staying in or going out. Kitchen is well equipped, plenty of towels, and lots of beach gear.Couldn't ask for a better spot. We would definitley stay again!

Paradise from your own lanai….

Firstly, Susan was so wonderful to deal with- thank you for being so welcoming and accommodating- we really appreciated the late checkout- with a 3 year old toddler with us…he was able to nap and that made such a wonderful difference to our last day in paradise. The view is amazing! Would love to stay there again someday soon.

Wonderful Oceanfront Townhouse

Rental is as picture right on beach. Spacious enough for our family of 5, clean, comfortable and safe. Property is located in a nice, small complex with wonderful pools. Home is well stocked. Would stay here again!

Maui trip

The location of this property was amazing. Right on the water. We really enjoyed seeing the whales everyday. The kitchen was well equipped and it was nice having the beach chairs and the cooler. I would definitely rent this property again. Our family had a wonderful time here!
