Comfy home stay

After driving 4 1/2 hours we enjoyed staying in this cute house. It was very clean and comfortable.

Charming older home

If you’re looking for a modern, luxurious, secluded location this is not for you. But if you are looking for a rustic farmhouse reminiscent of your grandparents or great grandparents and within walking distance of Main St, this place will work. Keep in mind it is a 1930’s house with a lot of the original “charm”. We loved it and plan to stay again.

Cozy and comfortable

Perfect for our weekend stay. Close to everything we needed and wanted to see. Walking distance to McDonald's and a couple stores. 2 bedrooms with 2 comfortable queen beds. 1 bathroom that has a tub/shower. Small refrigerator but it worked for us. The only thing we missed having was access to the washer and dryer. Would definitely stay here again.

Cute Clean Farmhouse

Check in was easy, space was clean and as advertised. Super convenient to the middle of town. Host was easy to communicate with. Super cute 1930’s farmhouse! Would stay again!

Old House

Overall everything was not bad. We got there early and did a quick walk through and the host was fine with that. When we got back later after sight seeing we noticed that there was a hole in the wall because there is no door stop beind the front door and my wife immediately started cleaning this cozy little place. Trash can outside was full so we took our one bag home with us. The attic stairwell and door was creepy. You have neighbors on both sides of you also. But you can walk to downtown Mt. Airy in about 10 minutes. Would suggest to go in the fall or spring...not much open in the winter.

Just okay

This was just an ok rental. Beds were clean. My friend and I were very happy we didn't plan to stay any longer or planned on cooking. The kitchen had very limited cooking utensils or any cooking extras.The refrigerator was very small. A lot of spider webs all over the windows and some in the doorways in the house.doorways

Ac malfunctioning

The only way to control the ac was to manually turn it off when it got too cold in there. It was set on auto and 80 and would not automatically shut off. It’s going to cost owner a lot of money in electricity bills.

Great little house close to Downtown

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was within minutes of everything downtown and is even walkable. The sitting area was very relaxing after spending all day out and about. We'd definitely stay again.

We stayed at this house for our Andy Griffith trip. It was perfect. Close to everything. The furniture was very comfortable too

It was like waLKING INTO MY GRANDmothers house. Memories of 1960.

Nice roomy house. took 2 days to try and figure out how to adjust the digital thermastat. Glad i brought my laptop. the picture showed one on the desk but it was not included. the wifi worked well. there is no purchased tv stations to watch just Roku. You can use the wifi to stream your home service.so we did not have any ABC ,NBC or CBS. The house has good lighting and easy to keep clean, You have to back out of the driveway onto a 4 lane Hwy. The front door is only about 50 ft from the curb so it is noisy in the front bedroom. I would stay there again.

Mount Airy Trip

We were traveling through the area and wanted to see the town of Mt. Airy. It's a cute little town. The house we stayed in was wonderful. Great locationand wonderful accommodations.

Window spiderwebs

I would recommend cleaning the spiderwebs from the outside kitchen windows. That creeped me out as I am terrified of spidérs otherwise the home was clean and comfortable. My husband was happy for the lounge chair. Missed having a Keurig but we were able to improvise. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in the area again.

Walking distance to Mt Airy Main Street

Very quaint property that is close to Main Street. We parked when we checked in and walked to enjoy our Mt Airy Andy Griffith experience. The house was clean, well decorated, and had comfortable beds. This place is perfect if you want to enjoy a Mayberry experience! We went for the 4th of July and enjoyed a Declaration of Independence reading, the Mt. Airy 4th of July parade and fireworks. The only time we drove was the 1 mile trip to the fireworks

Comfortable

Cute little house within an easy walk to downtown Mt. Airy. It's also very close to the riverside park and greenway trails. The house was a good size and had very comfortable beds. Would stay there again!

Andy Griffith Trip

Very CLEAN, we give it 6 socks of approval! 😊 It was close to everything. Everything was as it should have been. We enjoyed our stay, hassle free. The neighbors even gave us good food advise!! If ever back this way, I would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your place with us!!
