Fun family weekend

We enjoyed our stay. The property is private and very pretty. Close to hiking and downtown Blueridge.

Great Place!

Really nice, secluded cabin with all the amenities! The owner was very responsive and engaged. Loved the place!

The place is wonderful but we did notice it lacks surface areas to set things at or eat at. We had a group of 10 and the table only fits 5 maybe 6 at most but we made it work. And possibly a coffee rable in the middle of the living room would be good . But other than that it was great

My birthday cabin getaway

It was my birthday and my friends decided we should do a cabin getaway. I loved the pictures online and everything was as shown. We really had a swell time and our stay was a pleasant one. There was space for everyone and enough packing space too. I’ll definitely be back for another trip.

Thanksgiving

I am active duty military and we decided to do thanksgiving in the mountains before my transfer overseas! Cabin is absolutely beautiful, decor was lovely and very comfortable! More than enough parking and they had everything we needed for our 3 night stay! Hosts communicated throughly! Will absolutely book again!

I made these reservations thinking it would be a nice time with my immediate family. My father has been sick and passed on December 6, so just a quick little getaway after Christmas. It was a mess right from the beginning. We were informed by the cleaning staff that the “brand new” hot tub (as advertised on VBRO) was not working. Upon walking it, I immediately noticed the shabby towels, no wash clothes, and the Big Lot furnishings. Later realized we had no water. Apparently it was run out when the cleaning staff attempted to refill the hot tub. We had no water the first 24 hours and it dribbled after a couple of showers or after running dish washer. The host stated they were coming to refill reservoir (seriously). Never happened. Every closet door was broken off and stuck in closet. There was no front panel on kitchen sink. No blinds or curtains on any of the windows (yes, three neighbor houses in close proximity). The screening on porch has been removed but the wood is still on the floor. The fireplace does not work. The hot tub was never operational, although the owner stated a hot tub technician was onthe way. Technician never arrived. There was no smoke detector. The air vents were filthy. Half the lights did not work. Very poorly stocked pots/pans. One pot holder. Just pitiful. The “host” told me he was not the owner, although his last name is in the cabin. This was by far the biggest VBRO disappointment ever. Now I know why no recent reviews.

All this junk was just stuck in the cubby hole. No door.
No curtains or windows.

Nice Mountain getaway

The property was very nice. It was quiet and secluded and clean. There was plenty of room for 3 families. In summer, there was not much of a view from the house, but a very short walk down the driveway led to an absolutely stunning sunset view. The basement was great for kids aged 3-16 (although the basement stairs are quite precarious). It is a very short drive to the Bear Claw winery, and less than 15 minutes to Downtown Blue Ridge. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
