Accommodating house in Waterville Estates on a hill slope with a picturesque mountain view across the Mad River Valley. Located within just a few minutes’ drive from I-93, close to White Mountains ski resorts (Waterville Valley, Loon, Cannon) and lakes, the retreat is great for year-round activities. This well-hidden 3-level 5300 sq.ft. property offers 5 bedrooms, a study, 5.5 bathrooms, 2 full kitchens, a game room and a sizable hill-side deck with a 5-burner gas grill. The main level kitchen is equipped with a professional gas range and hood, adjacent dining room offers seating for 10. The main level also offers a master bedroom with access to the deck. The second level offers another master bedroom with a mountain view worth of a masterpiece, two additional bedrooms with two twin beds each, and a sizable private suite. The suite comprises a large bedroom with a king-size bed, a full bathroom including an air-bathtub, and a private office. The finished basement has a bar with a full kitchen adjacent to a bathroom suite, and sizable game space. With sizzling fast WiFi throughout the house and a workstation with a large computer monitor in every bedroom and the study, the retreat offers ample space and privacy for relaxing and working remotely. This property is perfect for a family reunion, a special event with friends, or a private corporate retreat.

Our family yearly vacation was wonderful. The home was clean and large enough for 10 people. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you needed. Beautiful views off the very large deck were incredible. All the bedrooms were enlarge with beautiful bathrooms. The property was settled on the top of a mountain. The basement game room/kitchen/sauna was a huge bonus.

We had such a wonderful stay! The house was beautiful and extremely clean. We really enjoyed all the amenities, especially the sauna after skiing! The host responded promptly when we had an issue with our code and quickly figured out the problem. I would highly recommend staying here, we definitely will be coming back!

Beautiful home. Plenty of space for children. Waterville 15 minute drive. House is immaculate and comfortable. Very responsive host. Sauna was a bonus after skiing.

Big Beautiful home! This was our second time staying-three families traveling together for a ski weekend at Waterville. We love the beautiful views, fully equipped kitchen, and sauna. Great communication with host. Everything is so easy and inviting. Can’t wait to do it again!

Absolutely breathtaking views and plenty of space for relaxing and enjoying the property and the area. We were able to cook with every imaginable kitchen utensil! PERFECT

Susan and her group were wonderful guests. They treated the property with great respect, like it was their own home, followed the house rules over and above, and communicated proactively. I absolutely would not hesitate to host this group again.

This home was everything advertised and more; plenty of space for all 3 families, extras in the kitchen and throughoit not typically included but greatly appreciated, and an excellent location. We were all over the area, from Lincoln/North Woodstock to Waterville Valley, Plymouth and even the North Conway area, and this was a perfect home base. Yakov was always responsive the limited times I had questions...we will definitely be back, excellent experience.

Thornton Retreat

OUTSTANDING!! We came for a church staff retreat that was fantastic. The quiet, picturesque setting and spacious, five bedroom home allowed our five team members to relax and enjoy a refreshing time away.

Beautiful and Spacious

This beautiful home was the perfect fit for three families. Easy drive to Waterville Valley for skiing. We enjoyed relaxing in the sauna and cooking in the spacious and well equipped kitchen after skiing.

A beautiful home with breathtaking views! The bedrooms are extra spacious with very comfortable beds. Yakov is so accommodating and responsive. The kitchen is lovely and equipped with anything you could ever need. Highly recommend! We can’t wait to come back again!

Great family getaway!

The house is very, very spacious making it as great place for larger groups. the kids loved the game room in the basement. Everything is new and very clean. Good location to lots of fun activities. The host was very responsive. Definitely a lovely home for a cozy family trip!

Our stay was wonderful. The views were fantastic. The house had more than what we needed. The pool and ping pong tables were fun but need new accessories. It snowed while we were there and the driveway is steep so it would have been nice to have a little sand. Also we had to shovel the steps when we arrived.

Ice Castles Winter 2024

This property was spacious and comfortable. The house was stocked appropriately with needed essentials like pots, pans, utensils as well as soaps for various cleaning. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Fantastic house with an amazing view. This was certainly one of the best rental properties that I’ve stayed in. The house was very clean, modern, and had all the amenities that you could ask for. Plenty of room for a larger group. The owner was very responsive and provided clear instructions on check-in. Highly recommend this house for a mountain vacation.

Perfect property at an amazing location! Highly recommended!

We stayed at this property with friend to see the White Mountains and enjoy the Fall foliage. The property was at a perfect location, super clean, almost new, with lots of space and high-end features. The kitchen and the outdoor grill were very comfortable to cook for a large group (12 people). We enjoyed the sauna and had lots of fun in the game room. The host, Yakov, was very friendly and fast in communicating and helped our stay be more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this property and go back again!

Luxury home perfect for large families

We enjoyed a great ski week here in February. A short ride to Waterville Valley Mountain with all of the bells and whistles after a long ski day. This home could easily accommodate three families with kids - three master bedrooms with bathrooms attached and plenty of additional bedrooms and sleeping/hangout spaces for the kids. It really is a special home and we hope to stay here again next year. Many thanks to our hosts, Yakov and family.

Wonderful home with fantastic views

Beautiful home for our extended family to gather for my sons wedding. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Teens and young adults enjoyed the basement with pool table and ping pong. Well equipped kitchen. Comfortable beds- in fact 3 family members took note of the mattresses to buy for their own homes. :-)

This home had everything we needed for a great family gathering!

House is spacious and equipped with everything you can think of in the kitchen. There is a mini-pool table and ping pong table in the lower level Rec room. Extra towels and paper goods came in handy. The host was extremely responsive, and he provided all the information we needed.

Gail and family were exceptional guests. While enjoying Thanksgiving family gathering, they were very respectful to the property, and left the house pretty much the way they found it. Gail is an outstanding communicator, I have no hasitations recommending this family to anyone.
