This convenient 2br+2ba ground level unit (no stairs!) includes 2 separate outdoor patios with seating & bbq, professionally furnished by Blue Grape Design Studio, garage, fireplace, sleeps 6 (4 adults max), a/c, washer/dryer, & dogs ok (1 large or 2 small max).

INTERIOR HIGHLIGHTS
Remodeled & professionally designed interior with a coastal design theme & white/blue/gray tones. Step into the main front entry door into a spacious open main living area that includes a plush sofa bed, accent chairs, cozy gas fireplace with Samsung SMART TV mounted above, windows letting in lots of natural light, & a separate door that leads to your very own outdoor patio.

Off the living room is a dining room that flow seamlessly in to the beautifully remodeled gourmet kitchen that features cabinets galore, white quartz counters, stainless steel appliances, fully equipped kitchenware, & views out to a lush landscape exterior.

On separate sides of the home are 2 bedrooms, the first is the master suite with Cal King bed, Samsung SMART TV, reading nook, & ensuite bath with new restroom vanity & surround shower. The second bedroom houses a Queen bed with it's own small patio area, a quiet place to escape the hustle bustle. Separating both bedrooms is another full bath (tub/shower combo) + stackable washer dryer.

Beautiful property consisting of 4 separate units over 2 levels, each unit with their own individual entry & not connected inside. Only 2 of the 4 units are available for rent; guests have the option to rent each unit individually or rent both for a combined 4br + 4ba that sleeps 12 (8 adults max) as follows:

LOCATION
“Where the locals hang!” Our home is located in a beautiful family friendly area of North Pacific Beach. Just 2 blocks to a swim/surf-friendly ocean, white sandy beaches, and killer local eateries with everything from breakfast to dessert to after-hours cocktails!

Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and entertainment along Cass St & Turquoise St. Some of our favorite eateries include Java Earth Café (coffee & pastries!), including Oscar's Mexican Seafood, Leilani's Hawaiian cuisine, Fig Tree Café (brunch!), The Fishery fine dining, Bareback Burger (grass fed meat!), & Second Nature bar/organic eatery to name a few. Also just a few blocks to Gelson's grocery market.
• Activities
Within walking distance of a Yoga Studio & Beach Yoga at Law St park, Enjoy kayaking or stand up paddle boarding, jogging/walking/biking up and down the Boardwalk that starts just a couple blocks from our house! Rent beach gear at Mission Beach Aquatic center, including sail boats, paddle boats, stand up paddle boards, and much more.
• Attractions
A quick Uber ride or bike ride will get you to Garnet Ave & further along to Mission Beach, featuring more bars and entertainment + Belmont Park's big dipper coaster and all new Plunge pool. Other attractions include ~5min drive to Sea World, over the hill is ~15min drive to the famous San Diego Zoo, and just ~20min drive to Downtown & the Airport. POLICIES & GOOD NEIGHBOR GUIDELINES
• GUEST REQUIREMENTS | Per certain regulations & HOA requirements, guests must be at least 30 years of age to book with us. If your group is all adults, then all guests must meet our minimum age of 30.
• OCCUPANCY | Our maximum occupancy refers to the number of people allowed in the home at any given time (ie includes both guests & visitors), some of which may be mandated by certain regulations. Exceptions towards the maximum number of people allowed may be made for children under the age of 2. Guest(s) agrees that more than the number of people stated on the reservation shall not occupy the premises. The number of guests includes visitors, even if they are not staying overnight.
• NOISE | Our homes are intended for relaxing getaways, not rowdy beach parties. Music and other noise is to be kept at an appropriate level and in a manner that is mindful to neighbors. Noise that can be heard 50 feet away from the home is prohibited. Parties are not allowed. If there is excessive noise or music, any illegal activity, or evidence of violation of these policies, you may be asked to vacate the premise without any refund and additional charges may be assessed.
• COMBINATION LISTINGS | Due to occupancy restrictions, larger groups looking to book multiple units must reserve a approved combination listing. No more than 1 combination listing can be reserved per stay.
• RESERVATION CONFIRMATION | Upon confirmation of your reservation, you will receive arrival instructions, parking details, wifi access, and tips on local eats & attractions.

Convenient in Pacific Beach

This place was perfect for our stay the week after Christmas! We visited with local family and had a convenient and nice place to stay with our small dog, who loved the dog beach. The beds are super comfortable too!This place had everything we needed and I loved that there was a convenient place for our recycleables! That always makes me happy.Andrea

Great location

The property on Cass street was very clean, and had everything you needed including a Britain’s water in the refrigerator. The location was perfect. Walkable to breakfast, coffee, dinner, lunch and a great French pastry shop. Highly recommend the property.

Good location. Parking was the only issue. Unable to get car in the garage due to too many cars parked along the sides and unable to maneuver car to fit into such a tight garage space. We were in a small SUV (Mazda).

Best Friend birthday getaway

The layout of the property was perfect for 2 couples. Bedrooms on separate sides with extra bathroom in the middle. The French Gourmet restaurant was amazing and literally in your backyard!! We would definitely stay there again!!

Nice location & unit, a few hiccups

Arrived at check-in time to find unit was not cleaned from previous customers. Mgr responded quickly & had housekeeping crew over within a 1/2 hr. On 3rd day, came home mid-day to find master bath flooded & 2nd bath tub filled with brown water. Again, mgr responded quickly & had plumber over within 1/2 hr who had to clear plugged main drain. Mgr also sent cleaning crew over to clean bathrooms again. Appreciated the quick responses, although no accommodations for my wife's water damaged shoes. Unit is in convenient location & is clean & well-appointed. Beds are comfortable, sofa a little soft. Garage fits a mid-size SUV length wise but is very tight on the width.

Weekend getaway

We got to the property where we found the 2 bedroom 2 bathroom to be exactly what we were hoping for. It was clean and modern with comfortable beds. (Pillows not comfortable however). We loved that the bedrooms were on the opposite side of the apartment, making it very quiet and stress free without sharing a bathroom and space. The 2 blocks to the beach was really farther than that, but we ended up driving to the beach anyway. If you have a large vehicle, it won’t fit in the garage so expect to park on the street, keeping in mind that it isn’t always easy to find a parking spot nearby. I would stay again, but I would bring my own pillow and I would drive a smaller car to park In the garage.

Comfortable and close

Our recent stay was the second for us at this pleasant place. It is close to our family, the ocean and some of our favorite PB restaurants. Furnishings are cute and comfortable, and the quiet condo is restful for weary travelers! My favorite thing is the abundance of hangers and closet space! We'll be back.

great property for two couples - easy to walk to various downtown places! parking is street parking only unless you have a super small car, but still isn't too hard to find spots on the street.

Comfortable base

The property is well appointed, clean and comfortable. We did not spend a lot of time there as we had a number of activities planned around the city but we enjoyed a walk to the beach and dinner one evening with a quick Uber back. The neighborhood seemed safe and relatively quiet.

Cozy and convenient home away from home

Lovely and spotless accommodations in a great location. Walking distance to many Excellent restaurants and a grocery store. Close to beach and close to La Jolla shopping. The only Challenge was maneuvering in and out of the garage as there was a neighbor’s car parked directly across.

Quiet and cozy at Local 2

This place is nicely decorated with tons of storage. The outdoor area has pleasant flowers, and lots of natural light comes into the apartment. My favorite feature was having plenty of hangers in the closet! This is a rare treat in our experience with vacation rentals. The neighborhood is very walkable and only a mile down the hill from our grandchildren! We do plan to return to Local 2! Thank you Surf Style!

Christmas in San Diego

Went to San Diego to visit our daughter and new grandson. This unit is two blocks from there home in PB. Beautiful unit, well maintained and well stocked with utensils, towels, etc. And its only about 4 blocks from the beach.

Perfect location for exploring Pacific Beach

This is an excellent place. It was very comfortable for our family of four while I was on sabbatical at UCSD for several months. The rooms are comfortable, there's plenty of kitchen space and storage space. It faces away from the street, so there's no street noise — it's quite quiet. The management is very responsive and accommodating. I would come again if I have another long-term visit. It's next to several good restaurants, and also two very good Mexican places, particularly for fish tacos. It's an easy walk to the beach, the boardwalk, to the lively Pacific Beach district on Garnet Ave, and in the other direction, many neighborhoods to explore on dog walks, including laid-back Bird Rock. La Jolla is a short 10 minute drive away. For groceries, there's a grocery store (Gelson's) one block away nearby and also Trader Joe's and Vons a short drive away. Note that if your car is too large (we had a Highlander), you won't be able to use the garage—it's hard to maneuver with the cars on the opposite side of the alley—but there's usually plenty of street parking.

Perfect Pacific Beach Location

Great location. We could walk to our favorite eating spots in Pacific Beach...Fishery for dinner and Fig Tree for breakfast. Great having the air conditioning on a hot, humid weekend. Loved being able to have our dog with us. Surf Style Management team is Top Shelf in style, furnishings and attention to detail. We will be returning to this location and checking out other local Surf Style accommodations!
